I won't proclaim to hear trees or such, but I do sometimes feel subtle energies. Kind of like when someone is next to you and just their presence soothes you.
I was overwhelmed by sadness once, and something compelled me to go outside at 3 in the morning. I ended up leaning against a large oak tree, sobbing at my predicament.
When I touched the tree, I swear I felt this strong, warm flow of comfort racing up my hands from the tree trunk.
