@soulshrine when i find a good version i will send it to you.. the piece is obviously fantastic and fantastically difficult. there are certain parts where the impressionism is really not there to me that's all, in my taste anyway. i would prefer a reason for your disagreement if any comment at all
@robertocaesar what was the context of him hating it? maybe something in the terminology was not understood then, or by him. he certainly conjures the flights and frights of the inner mind
@robertocaesar ah, haha there is a good quote on the wiki, "I am trying to do 'something different' – in a way realities – what the imbeciles call 'impressionism' is a term which is as poorly used as possible, particularly by art critics."
this I can agree with definitely, but the way i tend to define the category, he fits right in there, whatever he's doing.
Beautiful performance. Wonderful sense of Debussy's use of drama. contrast, interruption, and transcendence. I checked this out to get some help with fingerings - but yours move too fast!
Magnifique !

butchered the rhthym! extremely difficult so i hate to criticize, but it's also a shame to see such a beautiful piece with all these ugly notes..

@tyrannicoystercult i have to agree with rossinimeaburres comment and its not small feat to make me agree with such a badly written comment.

@tyrannicoystercult Did you know that Debussy hated to be called impressionist, when referring to his music?

A beautiful performance of the last work to come from the pen of Debussy. It is like his farewell to life.
