This is by way the best video available. However, you did not make use of the full skill of zero. If you use the zero ninja jump and also his dive slash skill, you will make a hell lot faster.

dude you either cheated or got lucky. ive beaten high max 1000 times and never once did i beat with without him changing his pattern to flying dead center and blasting the crap out of everything. also... why no jumper? hyperdash? speedster? you can shave tons of time off.

Easy. You're talking like Mega Man X1 was a game made for masochists. I never used boss weapons in any game, and I've beaten them all. Want a challenge? Beat them without using charged shots and losing damage.

If you are saying you can beat 6 with no charged shots or special weapons (except where you have no choice) and taking no damage (except for where its litteraly impossible not to, ie turteloid's stage)... i am officially throwing the bullshit flag. Do it and post the video i DARE you. Hell even doing that with X1 would be impressive, any of the others except for maybe 2 would be IMPOSSIBLE.

I never claimed I actually did the challenge, but yes, I did never use boss weapons in the games unless if I had to. It's not that hard, actually. Same thing for the classic Mega Man games. I've done this challenge for X1 before, on my Wii, and it just takes practice. However, using only the normal buster is no big deal.

I never tried another way, but by doing Shelldon's stage, I always fought Zero.

once you beat him, he comes back.

fact I don't know: If I do the stage in some kind of special way in order to make Zero appear. since I never really bothered. I think there is no particular way that we have to do it. have a nice day.

You should unlock him past a certain part of the game automatically. It's part of the story where he reveals that he's still alive and he was only away in order to recover.

Go to one of the Secret Boss Rooms and beat Nightmare Zero with X. You can play Zero then. Beat Nightmare Zero with X's Z-saber.

I liked this game but it was too damn easy. What they should have done was use the gameplay from X4, the higher health when you re-fight the bosses from X5 and keep the music and the bosses. Ground Scaravich (sp?) was my favorite boss but was too f*n easy of a fight.

The best MMX game for me, had to be X4. It was not too easy, or too hard. X5 was rediculasly easy. X6 however brought open a few challenges in it's game. And thats what I liked about it. It was just as difficult as X3...though X3 was somewhat harder than X6.

OMG That's fast! Taking damage to avoid the next obstacle via invincibility frames is bright, and taking damage from Gate was no problem and just as fast. It would be faster with more frame perfection on the dash jumps and taking less damage from Gate to avoid time loss on Energy usage, but I can't do any better than that.

Well... Zero can't charge the Shield, and if you activate it as Zero, the number of hits you do with your Saber is increased, I think.

Awesome vid! When I fighting against High Max he's starts the battle with his stupid barriers and the only way I can beat High Max with X in the Ultimate Armor by Usings Charge Shots and Giga Crush.
