I'm amazed at the ignorance that some self-proclaimed salsa dance "experts" display with their comments here. I've dance salsa for 6 years now and can turn faces easily when I'm on the dance floor. Which is why I find this video so captivating for its expressiveness: poetry in motion. Whoever said that form overrides content when celebrating life with our maximum possible expression? I challenge you 'experts' to dance this beautifully so long as you're preoccupied in your dance technique!
it was in the late 80's early 90's when i used to live in NYC and after coming from a Club i took a taxy and the Taxi Driver was from Senegal Africa and he was playing music by Africando i could not understand a word they were saying but the Rhythm was amazing , and finally when i got to my destination i asked the Taxi driver how much he wanted for his cassette he took it out of the cassette player and handed it to and me being a Salsero from that day on i loved , Africando thank you .
This video is a definite gem. I'd followed Africando's music for the last five years and I'd never been able to see even their faces before. And along come this video with not only the band members in a high quality video, but a whole show with gorgeous girls dancing all over the place. Never mind the dance quality, fluidity or whatever the idiotic comments about their dancing style I read earlier. You guys are missing the forest for the tree, my friends. This is creme-de-la-creme salsa!

efectivamente que tienen un ritmo espectacular, a pesar de no ser cubanos, pero desafortunadamente, son extremadamente toscos para bailar... las mujeres dan los pasos como si estuvieran aplastando uvas para hacer vino... lo hacen bastante bien, pero deben sofisticar un poco sus pasos, que luzcan mas fluidos....
la verdad pense que eran cubanosy que bien lo hacen ,aca en argentina hay un periodista llamado raul portal que se fanatizo con la musica cubana y con cuba en si como muchos argentinos,y ha hecho programas dedicados a la musica cubana,y ahi los empece a conocer yo tambien,linda musica la estoy conociendo y disfruto muchisimo
