Nope, Magicians are still human... until they take their studies too far. That's why Marisa is human, while Alice isn't.Try asking Alice what's in that Grimoire of hers, her reaction will reveal much... =P

Also, becoming a magician takes lots of effort and study for humans. Race against time!! MISSON: Become powerful enough to protect yourself against the Youkai... before they eat you. >=)

I think almost any Windows Touhou game has nicer graphics (and the music!) than Cave's, but I did just get Espgaluda II for the iPhone and it is fantastic. Usually Touhous tend to be a bit slower, but Espgaluda is even kinda slow next to games like Mushihimesama...

i hope that was on insane difficulty. if not, here are some advices:

a)don't be afraid to use bombs. you can worry about h-score later.

b)moving slower is not a bad thing. focus!

c)practice makes perfect.

d)the fairies allways come from the same places. if you can remember those places, you will be at advantage.
