  • Whyd that wierdo prince/king guy slash Vidya on her face?

  • @spottopia dude he didnt slash vidya on the face. he cut off the head of the male dancer, and his blood fell on her cheeks.

  • its not at all brillian as d malayalam version..... her performance is so damn not gud as shobana's n those u who think dat dis is brilliant/... u r wrong.. once if u see d malayalam version u will change ur ur words.....

  • her performance is so weak compared to t original ...shobana

  • see vidya balan widout make over she ll be more scary then this scene

    lol..............

  • thank you. i've been looking for this song everywhere.

  • Holy shit it's scary

  • remake of malayalam movie and tamil movie : chandarmukhi and manichitrazhu! shobana was the best .. no one can beat her....

  • what kind of indian classical dance was she performing??

  • lol at time of watching this movie her dancing like this was scary. :|

  • any bengoli here? plz tell me da meaning of da 2 lines aami je tomar.....

  • wow people r fighting over dance?? who cares man jus listen to the damn song. why do we always fight over stupid shits. the people who choreographed this song know wht they've done..

  • this is not the whole bengali version and one more thing

we are all indians it doesn't matter that if the movie is bengali and dance from south india...this is trying to show the mixed and diversed culture of india people

BE PROUD OF IT not mad

  • :-)

    Regards.

  • bad print......

  • Where can I find an audio recording of the Bengali version?

  • balls watch the mal version....

  • jyothika did a better job

  • jyothika looked the part amazing and did a very good performance but her dancing was nothing compared to vidya's. very good job on both parts though

    :)

  • i think the tamil version is much better. Jyotika jus excelled in tat role.....Jus watch Raa Raa song from Chandramukhi movie( its the tamil version) am sure u gotta love it

  • i love vidya balan's performance

  • it sucks, the tamil version is better "raa raa" , coz this shit is not spoooky man

  • The Malayalam version is the besssttttttt 100%

  • u hail from us TAMILS, u r our kidz :D

  • i suppose u could say that

  • @sivakasiberlin Malayalam film Manichitrazhu, was firstly remade in Tamil. Shobana's acting from the original is simply brilliant, neither Jothika nor Vidya did much justice to the original performance. However the song from the Tamil version Chandramukhi's the best. When it comes to dancing, again Jothika and Vidya were not as good as Shobana from the Malayalam version. But then again Shobana is a professional dancer. Vineeth the male dancer was in both the tamil version and this.Be objective!

  • brilliant song

  • shreya ... u r the best !!!

The male classical singer (i feel he is from Kerala, pepl told me, he only sang in the Malayalam version also) has also done justice to the song...

  • The male singer is M. G. Sreekumar. Yes, he is from Kerala. :)

  • abuelkamsa

    hii

    u r from which country ??

  • this is the best dance sequence i have ever seen in ,y life ... Hollywood included !!

  • very nice song and great dance by vidya balan

  • Comment removed

  • God damn, this is so fucking good...

  • Everybody forgets about M.G Shree Kumar...... the classical part is sung by him.............which adds colour to the song............

  • awesome song! love shreya's voice in this and vidya's dancing and acting was really good.

  • malyalam is the best

  • Many years ago I studied Kathak, but since 3 years I have decided to teach because in my country nobody know Indian dance. Of course I teach Bollywood style to the guirls and this is my favorite video, because, the couple are excellents dancers. She is a wonderful actress so like him and the choreography is very beauty. It is one of the better of Bollywood history. And the scene is complete in its argument. Thanks a lot for upload this marveloux video.

    Sahadi

  • i lv sp, superb voice

  • Vidya Balan is amazing! She is an awesome dancer!

  • Luv shreya ghoshal big time!

    Who gave her dat voice???

  • Oh my gosh! At 3:45 they look sooooooo cute together! Vidya Balan really showed off her true bengali dancing skills!I am practicing this dance day and night! One day i hope i get it.

  • You will. Good luck.

  • Thanks! By the way i finally got it!

  • will it be possible for u to email this song to me? or tell me where i can get the mp3 version of this bengali version...

    thanks

  • love the song

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this song...

  • the msuic 4 this is propper fab !

  • this is still the hindi version... pretty much. except for some verses.

  • what is this movie title..

  • bhool bulayiaa

  • bhool bhulaiya

  • how is this the full bengali version u idiot???

  • lol who said i dont have a life???

as far as the idiocy thing goes......well ur a typical example

  • the story is really interesting but the film direction made it ugly, the quality for 2007 -> -.-

  • go please too the year 3000 !!!! go away from this timeline please ok?

  • wow she cann dancee..

    coooooooool

  • yenna koduma saravanan idhu!!!!

  • But one thing. In this hindi version song length is more. All other versions, starting to ending dance dance only dance. But this hindi version 2nd half only peak dance started. But that equal infact beated all other version perfection. This vineeth prove & submited his GURU DAKSHANA to his Bharatha natya Guru. Ms. PADMA SUBRAMANIAN founder of NIRUTHODYA. WoooooW! what a fastest beat dance? Class. Other than nothing.

  • /* me encantaaa esta cancionnnnnnnnnnnnn es super wena weee

  • ew i hated Akshay Kumar except for in Jaanwar thats like the only movie that I thought that he could dance to

I <3333 THIS SONG 4EVA SHABAASH KAMAAL KYA BAAT HAI

  • Un dans spiritual faimos.

  • who is the singer of this song?

  • Shreya Ghoshal<3

    my fav singer : )

  • The male is Sreekumar ...

  • I would say this is the second best in all the songs. Shobana was, of course, the best! In this one, they didn't make Vidya do stuff that she really couldn't, even after taking some kathak classes, whereas in the other 2, Jyotika and Soundarya were doing things that they couldn't. But then again, I am slightly biased -- I danced to the original version (Oru Murai) and I'm totally in love with Vineeth's and Shobana's dancing :P

  • Shobhana, soundarya, jyotika and vidya all ending with "a" have done a fantastic job in Manichithrathazhu, apthamitra, chandramukhi and bhool bhulaiya.

  • first of all mr.avharprasad..this song is beautiful..and second of all..get your stupid facts right...jyothika is not urdu, she's punjabi muslim!!

  • u ppl c this potrion in malayalam , then u can feel the differance in presentation of this scene, shobhana did a great work in malayalam...

  • the original film was in malyalam named manichitrathazhu then it came in tamil named chandramukhi and now in hindi named bhool bhulaiya

its an excellant movie and love............. this song

    its soooooo..........nice

  • the video iz nt dat gud as da song..buh i luvv da song

  • the video of the song depends upon the situations and this sond is just like that and i agree with u on saying the song is good

  • they all are stupid... m telling u dis is gr888888888... mah fav....

  • i thin he mean sick as in a good video

  • this was such a creepy film man..

  • Vidya Balan was probably payed a lot to play a crazy person. Sorry for people who haven't seen the movie, but it's kind of obvious.

  • she actually did the whole film for just 50 lakh, it was first offered to aishwarya rai, but she asked 4 crore for it and priyadarshan chose vidaya then.

  • i loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its my best song, i love it!!!

  • Anvesha sings this song better than original.

  • i am a fan of anwesha, but you cant say she is better than shreya ghoshal..

  • Hi sheena, i love shreya ghosha's trained voice. But anvesha's voice has ability to create romanace, love, kindness, energy. reply me. tanx

  • i agree..anwesha is brilliant! she will be a great singer one day.

  • i agree

    anwesha is really the best

i started crying when she sung

    o meri jaan

  • nice song

  • LOVE IT!!!!

  • Looove dis sonq <3

  • I'm Bengali myself, so when I heard the beginning, I fell in love with it. Anwesha sings it so professionally. I've been trying to sing it, but it's so hard. There's so many vibrations that you have to do. I have to give props to Anwesha for rockin it and the singer who sang this song.

  • beautiful song...its such a tough song!!!

how do singers sing it...how does anwesha sing it!!!

im tryna sing it myself...ami je tomaaar shudhu je tomaar

  • the dance sux...but what a fabulous song...by a divine singer

  • Shreya did the job in this song & vidya did a great support.

  • HELLA LOVE DIS SONG...THNKS SO MUCH!

  • i dont know the difference betwenn ami je tomar and mere dholna what is the difference it sounds the same

  • does anyone know where i can find this song in its bengali form? I've looked everywhere and i can only find it as Mere Dholna. I know Mere Dholna is the Hindi version but I want it as Ami Je Tomar. So anyone know where I can find it?

  • god she looks so scary in the begining. lol.

  • vidya is not shobana, ya everyone knows that. Can people just comment on if Vidya did good or not instead of ALWAYS comparing her to sho-banana?

  • lol i just love the way akshay kumar insults and mimics the song in one part .lol it was hesterical !!!!!

  • he did can u tell me where

  • u knw the part where akshay mimics the bengali song..lol like ami je tomar , ami je tomar..lol watch the movie.ull see...mind blowing acting i tell u ! LOL

  • YEAH WERE CAN U GIVE ME THE SITE

  • ya i agree... no one can beat shobana. but vidya did a good job too.

  • shobana was excellent

  • vidya did good, but shobhana did the best in the original malyalam movie manichithrathazhu

  • this is the best song i`ve eva heard i mean in the sense of dancing it`s best`s just thril us n vidya has done a fantastic job

  • nice

  • luv this sng

    =)

  • This is the Best song out of tghe movie Bhool Bhuliyia

  • shit she scared me,lol.but nice song

  • truly a beautiful flim. modern and and classical as well.

    fab. musical arrangement & dance

  • It is so heart warming that in this modern day with rif raf music like singh is king, we have such a masterpiece song like this from same MD, my heart just melts when I listen to this, beautiful Cinematography, Lyrics, vocals and the music, juts felt on the screen, the male vocals would have sounded better in sonu's voice, he would have surely taken this song to the next level. What a beautiful Movie, this is the first Bollywood movie I have watched in Ages....SUPERB!!! Who needs western Music!

  • The male singer is very good... Sreekumar.. classical plus also playback in south...

hes sung absolutely fantastic! especially the sargam part.. he sang with great control...somehow i dont think Sonu would have managed it that well...

just that Sreekumar has a slight accent in hsi hindi i think...

  • I loved the movie.

    The song is amazing,

and i love when they flash back to when Manjulia was alive.

  • woops, i meant in the kannada and tamil movies, no sympathy from the actors..

  • wow i cant believe that in this movie and the tamil version, the main actor and couple other actors dont show sympathy or any kind feelings to the sick character..Soundarya seems to have the character well enough :) but man, the original is something else..all the actors in the movie were sooo good!!hindi is better of all the remakes but all the actresses, Shobhana, vidya, jo and soundarya did amazing performances..

Shobhana is hte best though..what a figure, expressions, acting and dance!!!

  • amaizing song

  • AMAZING BUT A BIT SCAREY

  • Hahahhahh yeah thats what I was thinking the whole time.

  • i love this song

  • i saw this movie im gonna dance it the girl was posstsied and wel...see the movie i wouldnt give it away

  • great song!!

  • is she like in prison or something, she almost looks scary were are they?

  • oh wait never mind i read up on the movie

  • she has a mental disorder where she thinks she is a dead ghost.

  • Fantastic song....... and Its sung Beautifully.

  • Take Shankarabharanam - it was remade in Hindi and the song "Dhanyavaad se Paaya" is good (Sung by Bhimsen Joshi - frm Karnataka though he is a Hindustani classical legend himself) But SPB did a great job in Telugu the original movie. They possibly here should have used Kathak or Manipuri style instead of Odissi and a mix of Bharatanatyam in Hindi But I like the song either ways.

  • somehow now whenever i hear goongroo ke awaaz it sends chills down my back even till today haha.

  • the male voice has such a distinct mallu accent... spoils the song... who is the singer?

  • SPOILS the song? That's a bit drastic. Adds a bit of a distinctive flavour to the song but spoil it? The singer would have to be someone like Shahrukh or Sanjay Dutt being made to sing classical for it be spoilt. Even so, it's a Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada movie that was remade into Hindi by a Malyali director who assisted the making of the original Malayalam movie. I would think he'd want to retain the original flavour somewhere in the movie.

  • Ok.. maybe I was a bit drastic in saying that it "spoils" the song.. but the mallu accent seems a bit odd.. the tamil song in malayalam version and the telugu song in the tamil version were perfect..and anyway all ere south indian languages.but the mallu accent with a hindi/bengali song does not sound smooth. a northie could have done the male voice.Listen closely to the "sa ni dha." part.and the way the "ab raat din" is sung u will realise what i mean. The"spoils the song" comment is withdrawn

  • I understand what you're trying to say, that the pronunciation of certain words is slight jarring. But if sa ni dha sounded "mallu" to you, well who is to say that the way you or I say Sa Ni Dha is more correct than the way the singer said it. Furthermore, the characters of Sridhar and Manjulika are Bengalis. Maybe the accent served well. The song still flows well though. It wouldn't had one of the singers gone off key.

  • In addition, some of the remarkable singers in Bollywood had accents e.g. S.P. Balasubramaniam (the male singer for Hum Aapke Hain Koun), Yesudas (who sang the songs of Chitchor and still won a National Award), Chitra K.S. (Mere Dil Ka Tumse Hai Kehna), Maryam Toller (Maiyya Maiyya), Lata Mangeshkar (the way she pronounces "Aetebaar" and other Urdu words), Mohammed Rafi (a lot of the times he pronounced the Q sound in Urdu as K). Try listening to the dialog in Bhool Bhulaiya. It's worse.

  • Final Arguments:-) Yes,no voice can suit Salman Khan as perfectly as SPB..Saajan, patthar ke phool..maine pyaar kiya..HAHK..And there were some wonderful songs by Yesudass in a movie called Meera ka Mohan ( im stll searching for those songs) BUT. emotions and music are expressed better in a known language since ther is lesser strain. And that is the case with this song. The textbook pronounciation is jarring. Maybe I noticed more cos I am a southie and my hindi is really bad and heavily accented

  • I think Malayalam is the best of the lot Malayalam also has real dancers-Shobana and Sridhar have done a great job (hardcore Bharathanatyam). In Kannada the Male dancer and Soundarya are good too - I have not watched the tamil version so cant comment. Hindi song is very catchy I guess if you listen to Shreya singing this song too she sounds southy :) because the original song was carnatic style it becomes hard to make it Hindustani unless they put in full effort.

  • Vineeth (the male in Hindi and Tamil) is also a real dancer! hes pukka Bharatnatyam dancer! but Vidya isnt

  • And also.. one more thing. In Malayalam the climax song is entirely in Tamil and in the Tamil and Kannada versins the song is entirely in telugu. But only the hindi version has most of the song in hindi..thats not good. The malayalam version was the best...and the tamil version was rubbish because it gave importance to Rajnikanth... but on the whole a good concept of the movie and great climax songs in all versions of the movies.

  • Hello!! IT fits. Because the male dancer in the movie is Malayalee. You can't have Sonu Nigam singing for a guy that distinctively looks South INdia. And even though the story is Bengali, the dance is Bharatanatyam, which is NOT Bengali at all.

  • it's not proper bharatanatyam cause this is lighter and whats the difference, we all indian

  • go Vidya Balan!! My favorite mallu kutty :)

  • btw shes tamil but from kerela

  • i love the song!!!!!!!!

  • Vidya Balan did a good job in this film. Vidya is an actress who is a tradtional type of Indian woman, unlike some of the overly westernised lot we see these days. Reminds me of all the olden actresses like Madhubala, Vijayantimala, Nutan, more recent Smita Patil, Jaya Prada, Sridevi, Madhuri.

  • Nice song. One criticism... its both Hindi and Bengali, bit disappointed it aint all Bengali:(

  • Can you please translate the Bengali lyrics please it sounds sooo sweet, I really want to know I only speak Urdu. Thanks cute buttefly.

  • Sorry dont understand Bengali myself, only Hindi, Urdu. But it does sound real nice. Am sure someone will translate the song in Bengali.

  • Okay no problem, I will wait for a bengali speaker to translate, thanks anyways..

  • ami je tomar shudhu je tomar....

this means i am yours only yours...

these are few words taken from a famous bengali song of earlier years.. :)
