Bridge looks great. I like "B" the best. I worked for a steel company in NC in their bridge division many years ago and this looks the most like the A588 weathering steel that is still used today in NC. It is not a painted finish but a steel that will rust to a somewhat consistant color. Looks great.
Good job!! Maybe in another video you could discuss the club car offerings for the various clubs around the US. For example I always pick up the Milwaukee Road cars (both O scale/027) from the Lionel Railroad Club of Milwaukee. I've also picked up TCa cars in the past as a TCA member.
@MUEagle2002 I'd love to do that, but it would mean joining all those clubs and I don't have to money to do that, plus most of those clubs are O-27 clubs and not O-scale and I'm mainly into O-scale. Nice idea though.
@CookiesAndGuns95 There are no events or activities. It's not that kind of club. You just join so that you can get the club car and the newsletters and whatever else they give you.
I am surprised that you did not get the modern Saskatchewan Potash Trinity 5161 Cu. Ft. 3-Bay Hopper. Do you already have enough modern rolling stock?
@Weiberts That's just a temporary thing to help me figure out where that trestle will be and what shape it will need to be. It's not strong enough to hold a train.
Nice video Eric! Happy New Year to you too! Just out of curiosity what is the minimum curve that o gauge scale cars can run on? I am interested in buying some sometime and I want to make sure they can run on my new layout.
Eric, Happy New Year!!! Thanks for the great information!! I like the Atlas and weaver clubs the best. I'm not a member of any club at this time but, I do subscribe to Classic Toy Trains!! Awesome video Happy New Year!!
The thing i love the most about mth is that you can buy previous club cars. now i own all premier line club cars!!!! Each older car cost $25!!!! That is amazing!!!
I joined the MTHRRC in 2007 for 1 Gauge. I dropped it in 2008 because all I was doing was paying for the car. All of the catalogs and newsletters were on O Scale. The car that year was a Norfolk and Western 4 bay hopper in red, white, and blue.
if you goin the club, likew MTH O27 club do you pay for the car and $50, or $50 and get the car for free
fatzGeronimo 3 months ago
@fatzGeronimo You pay $50 and the car is included.

@esiegel76 Ok thankyou

If I attend a railroaders club, is that restricted for adults or is that for everyone?
TheGordon4 7 months ago
@TheGordon4 It depends on the club, but most train clubs don't have an age requirement.
esiegel76 7 months ago
@esiegel76 Can I run the 2011 Weaver club car on O-36? Or should I save and get a MTH starter set?
continentalb737800 11 months ago
@continentalb737800 It should run on o-36
esiegel76 11 months ago
Do you know if MTH and Atlas O offer student discounts? I'm looking at Railking and Industrial Rail.
continentalb737800 1 year ago
@continentalb737800 I don't think so.

What activities and events are featured in the clubs? And do you have to go, I'm wondering. Thanks!

Eric: HAPPY NEW YEAR! Nice video. Is that a viaduct or trestle pier behind you? Can't wait to see your trains on the "high iron". Steve ...
MU2DRVRca 1 year ago
@MU2DRVRca That's a temporary trestle to help me figure out where the track and towers will need to be when I order the actual trestle.

Bassfanatic94 1 year ago
@Bassfanatic94 It depends on the size of the car.
esiegel76 1 year ago
@Bassfanatic94 The 40' and 50' O Scale cars usually require O36 and O42 minimum curves.
The 60' to 90' O Scale cars are better operated on O54 to O72 curves, since they are 17" long or longer.
