I could only imagine the effects of such ice build-up on a full scale level; I'd say it coped with it quite well. Thanks for sharing. :)

Looks like Accucraft should offer a sanding option.
In spite of the excessive slipping, it's still pretty impressive!
Would that be a homemade plow on the front?

@63fenderjazzbass just the stock cow catcher, but the ice buildup on the brass rail was almost 1/4" thick!

@RailfanningRulez yes it is, one of the first models accucraft made, serial # 002 but it still runs strong at 28 degrees, later we used a brick to chisle the ice off the brass rails as the uncontrolled slipping is not good
