  • Mal Evans is realisticly portrayed I think.

  • Why do Paul and George both look like they have Aids? :-)

  • Funny you should say that. I kind have thought that Harry Potter looks like Lennon.

  • the actor of John looks like Harry Potter :)

  • cynthia and john used to laugh about yoko's work

  • in cyn's autobio it says yoko constantly wrote letters to john and called him, even came to their house once when they wre away

  • Comment removed

  • que poca pinche madre q no la suban subtitulada

  • LOL the actors portraying the Beatles n this film are too small for their Sgt Pepper mustaches!

  • cynthia also cheated on john, and was divorced 2 more times after him. she couldn't b this great saint she claims she is

  • This is fucking hilariously bad!

  • @Nigelxman The musical parts in the studio are killing me.

  • @NotADood Yeah I almost fell out of my chair laughing. :-) Definitely one of those movies that is so bad it's good.

  • Fuck yoko

  • The Walrus Was Paul

  • "Middle 8" refers to the middle eight bars of a song. Ironically, middle parts of pop/rock songs rarely have exactly 8 bars!

  • 8:12 ugh that dosent sound a thing like Paul

  • 8:18 fail lol

  • They've got a great John, Yoko & even Cynthia. But Paul & the rest who are portraying the band NO. Especially George,..OMG!

  • note: it wasnt called abbey road studios in 1967, it was them EMI Studios

  • Was that Apple a foreshadowing on the record label??

  • "Lads, say hello to Yoko!"

    "Hi."

    "..."

    "Right."

  • the interments are all wrong, by now, George retired his country gent and is using his strat, casino, and SG john is using his strat and casino, and Paul has his Rickenbacker

  • starlost 1957. muzak is elevator musik. or the stuff you hear in grocery stores. It's all instrumental and lifeless; designed not to be noticed much.

  • Jesus H Christ, look at McCartney. It's like someone just went "fuck, who cares what he looks like, just get the hairdresser nextdoor to play him".

  • @Zebonka Jesus never had a middle name!

  • @Zebonka whattre you talkin about?? He's not Paul?? He's portraying William Campbell, Paul's double after the Car crash!! XD

  • good flick so far but i could do without the "muzak" beatles music

  • @ssostufveatch What is muzak?

  • I hope you do the best Beatles biopic explaining their entire story from beginning to end. Some biopics always talk about the early days but not much on the later days. I've always wanted to see a re-creation of the rooftop concert. Not The Rutles they don't count.

  • around 4:51... theres a mistake... the Abbey Road studios were named that after the Abbey Road album...

    I'm a freak.

  • Ha Goeroge looks all pissed off..

  • Those are the absolute worst moustaches I have ever seen. They look like they're made of felt. I also love how they generally only focused on John's looks and voice, and basically said "Fuck it" for the rest of the boys. The guy who plays Paul looks like Paul Rudd and sounds like me doing a McCartney impression completely baked.

  • those moustaches are amazingly fake

  • Paul looks gay.

  • this film really wants to make believe that yoko ono did not know who john lennon was ?? well, maybe that´s part of the big misconception about yoko ono ---

  • @MoveOverCasanova She only knew that Ringo was in the Beatles cause it means Apple in japanese.

  • @viceisthename you believe that any artist of that time did not know who john lennon was? come on

  • @MoveOverCasanova she knew who the person was but she didn't know the name.

  • @viceisthename if you say so ))

  • @viceisthename heh heh do you know that Ringo is also a given name for a Japanese girl how ironic !

  • @skeaneable No I didn't, hehe.

  • @skeaneable no, Ringo means Apple in Japanese

  • Feel so sorry for brian in this one

  • How nice, the movie doesn't give a flying fuck about Cynthia Powell's feelings

  • @TheAmazingstarman Neither did John. -_-

  • The guys playing the Beatles look so grotesque with their fake mustaches and wigs.

Not to mention they're overweight. I had a good laugh anyways! The guy playing Lennon though is quite convincing.

  • "Oh O_O" lol

  • something is not with this scenario if this scene takes place around 1967 Sgt.Pepper John should be sporting a moustache whereas George should have a goatee.

  • The actress playing Yoko is majorly bothering her. What is up with that weird/fake accent? Yoko doesn't sound like that...:S

  • correct me if I'm wrong but if it's sgt pepper time then that means its 1967 and only george and paul are most accurate of moustahe/hairstyle....ringo looks 1969 and john hasn't had his hair cut

  • yeah,John still looks too '66!

  • @Eskimop16

    Good obseravtion.

  • @Eskimop16 your right. they made some of those mistakes.

or maybe this was right before he got his haircut and got a mustache?

minus a few film mistakes and the lennon actor is quite convincing.

  • @OddlyRandomPro

i think thoug he had his haircut for a film 'how i won the war' was it? just before sgt pepper was becoming on the go? idk maybe

  • @Eskimop16 oh right. i totally forgot about that. your totally right.

    they did mess up.

  • @OddlyRandomPro overall biopics are best done when people from the story assist diretcing like obv if lennon hadnt have been murdered he mightve helped sort out this movie if it was still gna be in production

  • @OddlyRandomPro honestly speaking if this was during the recording of Sgt.Pepper John should have been sporting his mustache and I think George had a goatee around that time too.

  • @skeaneable George never had a goatee, just a beard.

  • @Eskimop16 "It was a fake mustache"

  • mel has always been awesome over the years! he's silently amazing.

  • she was crap, still is

  • If I have to, I'm going to direct the best Beatles' biopic and get it all right, goddamit

  • @cheifguggletram I will be first in line for a ticket my friend.

  • @cheifguggletram And when you do please allow me to become your scriptwriter and casting director because honestly, I'm fed up with Beatle bio pics having so many mistakes in them, so many details wrong and actors that seriously look SO MUCHO unlike the beatles it's distracting.

  • @marniedrew Will do. I agree. I've never seen one Beatles biopic where they got all 4 Beatles to look and sound at least close enough to them to be convincing.

  • @cheifguggletram good luck

  • @cheifguggletram

You and a million other people. ha ha Seriously, I would interested in seeing your take of the fab four. I salute you.

  • @cheifguggletram im sure almost no one knows the 100% True story of the Beatles

  • @Standrew777 well, ringo and paul should know. yoko probobly knows the stuff from when she came in, cynthia the stuff before yokos arrival. only problem is, who is telling the truth?

  • @kyrastube Cynthia didn't know Yoko till after 1967. John divorced Cynthia because The Beatles Rock Sensational Publicity & Yoko was a passionate art gallery enthusiastic artist.

  • @starlost1957 eehh... did you even read my comment? I didnt say anything about if cynthia and yoko knew each other or anything about the reasons of the divorce. what are you on about??

  • @cheifguggletram Why do you swear?

  • @starlost1957 I didn't know the word "goddamit" offended people anymore.

  • @cheifguggletram What is middle 8 that he mentioned?

  • @starlost1957 A middle 8 is the British word for the "bridge" of a song. So if you use a Beatles song for an example take "We Can Work It Out" where it goes "Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friend." That's the middle 8 of that song.

  • @cheifguggletram

But this film is about their love story, when you are seen for the first time, their thoughts, seizures, lost weekdays, the birth of Sean, the utime allbum and other things ....

  • @peaceandlove5281 I understand that, and I respect whoever wrote this film for trying to get this right, which is no easy task, but there are so many movies about The Beatles that either ignore their career spanning from 1963 - 1970 or take far too many artistic liberties with the four Beatles. I think the greatest band of all time deserve a classic biopic by now.

  • @cheifguggletram

I give you reason. There are some movies that ignore the story but not this and that ... oh, read a biography of Lennon and Cerano I can not say all, but what this film shows wax darte, who wrote the book Lennon Yoko by 164 if the bought, then when went into the studio to Abbey Road, also the scene of the sofa bed ... and the feast of John friend's cantatas. was drunk and became one in a room and you

but the film does not want to see is nowhere boy

  • @cheifguggletram you know why film makers are hesitant about making a true biopic about The Beatles during 1963-1970? there are too many skeletons in the closet plus during the years 1968-69 was troubling especially between John and his other band mates family and possibility friends will file a lawsuit if certain scenes will taint a negative image of an individual....so my advice to you is to read the various books and gather your own thesis nuff said!

  • @skeaneable What kind of Seletons in what Closet?

  • @Lovemyselfidoes81 hmmm where to begin.....the trip where Brian Epstein and John Lennon went on a holiday in 1963 where it is alleged they engaged in some sort of homosexual relationship,Paul Macartney's womanizing and claim of siring illegitimate children before he met Linda,George's wife Patti had an affair with Eric Clapton,Rngo's alcohol problem and John shabby treatment of Cynthia tries to accuse her of adultery....yeah the list goes on!

  • @skeaneable plus George admitting to Ringo that is always was in love with his wife maureen and asks Ringo if they could trade sexual partners for the night, John Hit Cynthia when he thought she was cheating on him with his bset friend at the time Stu Sutcliffe (this was back in the Art College days before they were famous) Firing Pete Best because he was better looking than John and Paul and he was the most popular member of the group especilly with the females which in turn caused

  • @Lovemyselfidoes81 you say a mouthful my friend and people want to see a true biopic of the Beatles between 1963 -1970? my advice to the Beatles sycophants is to read some books especially the one by Cynthia instead of poor directors and producers have to wear 'court' clothes and their biopic movies being banned in certain countries because they try to be politically correct about how the fab four are portrayed!

  • @skeaneable John and Paul to Be Jealous, the fact that Ringo beat up his wife Barbra Bach while on his drunk binges, The way John treated Julian after he and Cyn were Divorced, the way john picked on Cripples when he was a teenager robbing them of their walking sticks, Geoge's constant cheating on Pattie before she left him Clapton, (something that is not talked about a lot) John's Infatuation with Patti Boyd While she was married to George (during The Beatle days) and Flirting with her

  • @skeaneable Behind George's back as well as to his face, Yoko engourging John's infedelity in the Mid 70's with May Pang, John's numourous affairs on Cyn not just when they were famous but in Hamburg as well, John just being a plain all around bully to people including George, might be more i can't remember right now lol

  • Cynthia Lennon said that after Yoko met John at her exhibition she used to stand at their gate night after night waiting for him and he laughed at her, but when Cynthia went away for a week she moved in. If this film version is Yoko's she's not doing herself any favours admitting she wasn't interested before she knew who he was.

  • When Yoko entered the studio, is those two actors welcoming Yoko portraying Mal Evans and Neil Aspinall?

  • It's hard to guess; John and Yoko were the only ones they bothered casting properly.

  • Look how once that bitch realizes it's a RICH Beatle... look how her attitude changes. I HATE Yoko like the devil (one in the same really).

  • etchoserang aso!!!!!

  • damm your right

  • This is awful! Lennon would turn in his grave.

  • 4:43 Noone called it "Abbey Road Studios" at the time. It was still just called EMI. John can be heard referring to EMI on the Get Back session tapes "we always end up back at EMI"

Calling it abbey road wasnt until after the album of the same name became popular.

  • "Paul" sounds more like Randy Newman lol.

  • @JulieBrownsGuitar: I just peed my pants reading that. Thank you.

  • From what Ive read John was not in love with Yoko from the beginning. There are different author's and different takes, but I believe majority says it grew gradually.

  • on 604 the guy who plays harrison looks like frank zappa

  • No 'tache?

  • hahahahahaahh nao e o lennon e o silvio brito hahahahaha

  • john lennon is pretty much a very sarcaastic and funny man and was completly in love with yoko from the get go. i mean, that since the first time he saw her, he was in love her and her thoughts.

  • He Is A Great Man

  • its good the story i see this 3 times but my language is spanish latin bud u.u
