  • You got it wrong people. The heart doesn't expand under chest compression!

    The thoracic cavity is made smaller by the chest compressions and consequently the heart chambers are made smaller by the increasing thoracic cavity pressure as well.

    This then forces the blood through the valves and around the circulatory system.

    Your video suggests that the heart gets bigger under compression: a complete paradox to blood flowing around the system.

    Otherwise a good video.
