@Aboodx96 I really enjoyed your videos on How to write a paragraph and wriitng an essay. It was very detailed and easy to follow. I thought the song was a great idea to help a student remember the parts. Do you have a video on writing book reports? I homeschool my son and we are reviewing these topics now. Thank you again
Thank you for your explenation on how to write an essay! :-) I have to hand in an essay by tomorrow, this helped me alot! I have one question; can you write an essay in more than five paragraphs, or is that wrong?
I'm not used to write essay, so it does not appear natural to me at all!
@KristinFav You can absolutely have more than 5 paragraphs for an essay if you are covering more topics. Just be sure your initial paragraph introduces the areas you will cover.
and I am going to check out effective paragraph writing. thx. It really makes sense in such laymen terms. Its like.. the dummy version of how to write and essay. pretty much fool proof. do you edit and give feedback?? lol
I want to let you know that watching this helped me figure out how to write an essay. I have been thinking about it all day and am really interested in learning how to write effectively. The song.. no offense.. didn't help, but your explanation, voice and break down did. have a nice day. :)
@socheata8 The best thing about teaching is helping students realize their own talent and abilities. I'm so glad you've found yours. Keep up the good work.
I followed this tutorial and I failed my test because my teacher complained that I coloured all my sentences red, blue, purple etc. Thanks! :P (just kidding!!)
@Grancie48 Thank You! In writing a chapter/essay...how do I make the 1st paraG the leader for the body since the body will be say 10 pages. Do I simply paraphare the whole chapter in one paraG, then use one point for each paraG in the body, and support the idea with the following sentences, finally summarize in last paraG of chpt? Is it really possible to summarize each and every paraG like the prase "I scream, you scream for ice cream"? A video on this would be even more amazing! Thank You
If the essay is going to be particularly long, it might be helpful to begin the essay with a paragraph that introduces the reader to each "section" of the essay, then have another opening paragraph at the beginning of each section that outlines the points you will be making within that section. Then write a paragraph about each point. I don't know if I've explained this clearly enough. I hope so.

@thekingofoakland Without knowing what you've been taught nor the criteria for grading the GED essay, I can't address your concern specifically.
However, the two most important things about an essay are the quality of your thoughts and your ability to organize them in a clear and logical way. If you can do this, I'm sure you'll do great on your GED exam.
That is AMAZING!! This was one of the best videos I have ever seen on youtube. Great learning techniques and very simple to observe. Well done. And keep it up.
This was very helpful! I could not clearly understand any of the other videos I watched or any of the articles I read but this was very easy to understand!
I have a test tomorrow and I was going to spend all weekend practicing but I went out with friends and then I started playing starcraft 2...

@Prim3MavericK It's all about deciding what you want to say and laying it out in an organized manner. Webs and outlines are helpful pre-writing strategies.
