  • Reason for Macedonia to enter Eu is to change the name of the country,If that is Eu,we don't want it!

  • the EU has nothing to do with the USSR

  • @ssoloness yes it does,in Soviet union they just knew they were in a dictatorship but in european union people think they are free

  • @hilletehnoob oh yeah? give me just one example of how unfree we are

  • @ssoloness for example,in Germany you have laws against nationalism, you can't do many things or you will get in serious problems, you can't be a young nationalist or some people will go to your house and make pressure on your parents and teachers and you will give you a brainwash day by day untill you officially say you quit it,i actually know that from agerman friend and from sources on internet. Also, you get in trouble if you don't have a rainbow ideology, you won't find jobs and many more.

  • @ssoloness the media is totally controlled by one ideology, cultural marxist(multiculturalist) ideology, you will rarely hear anything of nationalists from the media except demonizations and ridicularizations of the ideology, you get commercials in cinema and many more from the european union promoting a certain ideology,if you are in a school they promote certain ideology(multiculturalism),you can go to jail for saying your opinion on many issues like multiculturalism, you will get troubles with it

  • @ssoloness (continuation) also, didn't you see what happened to the referendums on Lisbon treaty and other treaties?they were ignored, they do what they want,if the majority of people doesn't agree they couldn't care less, what do you call to a system where the majority doesn't agree with one policy and the policy continues?A dictatorship. Also, they(EU) already controll 60% of our policies and no one elected them, that isn't democracy, just because we don't have big repression it doesnt mean we free.

  • World war3 is answer not that earth human technology win and drugs for army soldier win and neuclea weapen and nato vs who sow i dont think sow i kill my self am fuck i win

  • Research the frankfurt school and goto eutruth dot co dot uk

  • I agree a 100% that the EU is a "monster" and it needs to be put down.

  • Here in Germany, the leading expert on the Constitution/Lisbon Treaty (Prof.Schactschneider) has warned that Lisbon will lead to a "Burocratic dictatorship". Luckily we Little Deutschlanders have a Constitutional Court that is willing and able to stand up for our rights and freedoms.

  • They did a good job: they have to be rewarded....

  • @TheBlackWhirlwind

You say the the EU have steamrolled treaties and policies through. They have not -the European Countries Governments have done that - they have sold out on their own people. I will never forgive the Uk Governments - they knew damn well that if asked in a referendum the vote would be NO - yet they ignored us and this is how we have lost our Democracy - SHAME ON YOU!!!

  • @TooDarnSoulful get real for godsake.Every democratically elected parliment in the EU voted on this treaty. And if the British people were that committed to a referendum, all I can say is that they didn't take much action. Not that I blame them when there was nothing wrong with the Treaty at all!Three months into Lisbon and I've yet to see this mysterious EU dictatorship that people like yourself are talking about.

  • @SolanoIRL09

3 months - are you having a laugh - it will take a bit longer than that. All i ask is for is a referendum BEFORE the transfer of power.

Poll after Poll show the british people do not want this union.

They want a trading arrangement like Switzerland and Norway.

    FRANCE voted NO

    HOLLAND voted NO

    They were both ignored!!

IRELAND voted NO - they were slapped in the face hard and told to TRY AGAIN!!

I suggest you get real - this is not Democracy !!

  • The french as well voted against Lisbon treaty.

But the votes will be replaced with the Grand Prix de l'Eurovision polls!

Only the vote of the swiss still count somehow (for a while).

  • @Zzozze France,Netherlands AND Spain and Luxembourg voted on the Constitution. If you take the number of people who voted overall the majority voted Yes.

  • @SolanoIRL09

The french citizens voted NO, and Sarkosy after a while said: "Well it's annoying but we will find a way..."

I get confused with those 53 , euh not yet, UE countries.

I gess the danes voted NO, Ireland as well and needed to be blackmailed to accept Lissabon Treaty... the Czechs didn't want it

The swiss voted five time ( NO NO NO NO NO).

Probanbly next time will be on new years eve 3 AM thus the bureaucrats get a "yes"...

Not my idea of democracy :(

  • Before the election in France,Sarkozy clearly said he would not give the French ppl another referendum, yet the French voted him in again.

And Ireland wasn't blackmailed, the whole referendum was a victory for the Irish ppl.

And what did Switzerland vote NO to 5 times?

  • @ SolanoIRL09 "Before the election Sarkozy clearly said he would not give the French ppl another referendum, yet the French voted him in again."

Yes, I must acknowledge: very often democracy doesn't make any sense. Like a ex-german statesman explained: "No matter if democracy, communism or fascism you find a way to bring them to accept what you want".

But I am born in from heaven's given democracy.

I persist in feeling it as a personal good of mine.

  • @Zzozze Well on the French matter,if the French voted for Sarkozy even though he wouldn't give them another referendum then that's their democratic decision.

  • @SolanoIRL09 "And what did Switzerland vote NO to 5 times? " To the annexion to EU.

But many fools got tricked and steped in the NATO :(

Anyway, to me it isn't the main point: I don't want my life to be ruled by Monsanto (period)

(and Monsanto controls the EU politicians, in a while you are all patented and have to pay copy rights)

  • @Zzozze I never knew Switzerland voted for EU membership and I don't know what your talking about with NATO.And I hardly think a GM crops company is the supposed mastermind behind the EU.Just asking are you French?Isn't Cannes in France?

  • @SolanoIRL09: the swiss are asked every 4or5 years to join the UE and steadily answer "no". But these idiots (actualy atight majority) didn't reject the offer of joining the UNO, and much worse NATO.

Monsanto is one of the mastermind behind IMF, thus behind the "new-taste" UE.

I've been mostly raised up in Cannes, went to school with all kinds of people one couldn't imagine... I still have a french passport somewhere in a suitcase. Some would say I belong to a cosmopolitan background (?)...

  • @SolanoIRL09 The Irish said no the first time; but that wasn't the right answer was it. With all the millions and millions spent on the say YES pro-eu propaganda, it's no wonder they voted yes. Also, why were the votes taken away for 48 hours into a secret place before the results were counted and made known? The whole thing stinks! The EUs constitution is like the Soviet Unions - almost word for word!

  • @32GaugeSlug,It wasn't a question of it being the right answer in the first referendum,it was a question of what concerns the Irish people had in the Lisbon treaty in 2008.I voted no in the 1st ref simply because Ireland would not be allowed keep it's commissioner. We voted no,the decision was accepted by our gov who brought our concerns to the EU and then voila,we get the Irish gaurantees, allowing us to keep our commissioner.

  • @32GaugeSlug,and so because of that and indeed because of tougher economic circumstances we voted yes the 2nd time.If that's not fair and democratic in your eyes, then you clearly have a distorted view of democracy.

And as for the rest of your argument well that's just nonsense, ever wonder who sponsered Declan Ganley's campaign? It happened to be his connections in the US.And what about UKIP posting out 1.5 million leaflets, which I got myself?

It was a fair ref,and that's obvious to anyone.

  • Anyway, they use deception, treachery, false promises, ignore the will of the voters but they don't organize us phony wars, don't drop fuel bombs on our cities, don't send us the tanks, they don't plant fake terrors attacks, don't lock us in psychiatric clinics, the banks don't steal our houses and health-care don't take our kids away yet. We are luckier than the rest of the world. Very lucky.

  • Well I disagree, the Europe we live in today is alright, and we are all still very much democratic.

  • @ SolanoIRL09 "the Europe we live in today is alright, and we are all still very much democratic"

We're still tolerated to say (almost) whatever we want as long it has no effect ;-)

...and it depends on where you live. I wouldn't live anymore in London today, Paris neither, Rom, no...

  • @Zzozze Neither would I,I'm not fond of the big cities, but you'ed live in the glens of Donegal mo chara :)

  • @SolanoIRL09

Look at the USA, and also check: Codex Alimentarius just to begin with.

  • The EU will only work if the people of Europe want (or need) it to work.

They will have to look back at their history (a history that is NOT pretty) and then make a judgement of their future.

  • we never vote about getting out of the union... !

  • If your country is an EU member and its citizens are unhappy about it, why not make it a electoral issue and vote that way? That's what Greenland did.

  • greenland is a part of our country not a union!

but we cant vote against it therefore i hate EU, no countrys in europe can do it...

  • I can only go back to my original comment and just rewrite it a bit by stating that if the EU isn't workable for Europeans, for whatever reason, that's one thing; but, if they don't want the EU to work, that's something else entirely.

It is not for me to say what the case is, but Europeans, either individually or collectively, may want to decide what journey they would want to pursue from here on out.

  • Comment removed

  • The British government has become a puppet to EU mandate, and now only maintain the illusion that the people have democratic power of our own country, when we do not. They take millions of pounds from us each day, and we see very little in return. We fund corrupt bureaucrats that are insidiously taking control of our country. As Mr. Bukovsky states quite clearly, "It isn't yet the Soviet regime, but it is a Soviet model in western guise". They're biding their time, subtly reducing our freedom.

  • To compare the EU to the USSR is nonsense.

  • Vladimir Bukovsky spent a total of twelve years in prison/psychiatric hospitals, withstood torture and threat made against his family - I doubt that he is now just having some sort of hysterical moment with regards to the EU.

Now, I already knew about the corrupt dictatorial superstate in Brussels, which England's political elite want to be a part. But it's nice to hear a grave warning by a respected political dissident who has first hand experience with tyranny.

  • I respect this man and what he has gone through; nonetheless, I have the impression that many people, often right-wing Americans who are afraid of not dominating the world anymore, though, are a little paranoid when it comes to the EU.

Certainly, however, it is far from perfect. But the USSR was a dictatorship, the EU is a union of democratic states, all of them careful not to loose too much power; and at least the European Parliament is elected directly by the people.

  • It isn't elected directly by the people. It is based on proportional representation, which isn't true representation. I live in England, and we've had only ONE vote on the EU back in the 70's, and our politicians told us that it was strictly about trade, NOT politics - Ted Heath, the Prime Minister at that time, subsequently admitted that they bare faced lied to us to get us to join. Since then, the EU has steamrolled their policies and legislation that supplant (and conflict) with our own laws.

  • So you are suggesting the majortity vote for the European elections? That's a difficult issue, for in fact it is not clear at all what actually results in "true representation". Some advocate the majority vote, others think that it is no true representation.

Why do you say it isn't?

One might argue that if 23 % of the voters vote for party X, it is just and fair if party X sends 23 % of the representatives to the Parliament - wouldn't you agree?

  • Does it not bother you that there a two dozen officials that are self-appointed who are not accountable, and who we are not able to sack? The Soviet regime had 15 self-appointed officials. As for representation, speakers are granted only 6 minutes per year in the Chamber.

  • I didn't know that about the 6 minutes, but it's very interesting to know. If you say we need to change a lot of things in the EU, and need more real democracy, then I agree.

But like I said, in my opinion the comparison with the USSR is exaggerated. The leaders of the Soviet states were just puppets of the USSR leaders, and you wouldn't say your government and my government have nothing to say and are mere puppets of the EU, would you?

  • Yes, I would say England's ruling class are puppets, because many of them want to be part of the EU elite - Peter Mandleson, for example, was twice disgraced out of Parliament within a short space of 2 years, who then went straight onto become an MEP with better pay. Tony Blair is now running for EU presidency, and he as prime minister, has taken this country the furthest into EU control, and has systematically eroded our common law and constitutional safeguards, such as Habeas Corpus.

  • Bukovsky also says "The Soviet Union was governed by 15 unelected people, who appointed each other, and who were not accountable to anyone. The EU is governed by 24 people, who appoint each other, meet in secret, who are not accountable to anyone, and who we cannot sack. One might say that the EU has an elected parliament. Well, the Soviet Union had a parliament of a sort too - the Supreme Soviet - which just rubber stamped the politburo decisions, pretty much like the European parliament does."

  • i agree

  • @TheBlackWhirlwind

is the EU governed by 24 people, is it not 27 ? One person from each member ?

  • @RoyalQueenSarah

It might now be 27 if other member states have been acceded into the EU since.

  • @RoyalQueenSarah. His comment is almost 3 years old... That's the why he talked about 24 ppl.

  • England hasn't been offered any vote for complete secession from the EU, which is what many people here want. Our politcal elites - Liberal/Labour/Conservatives parties - are all pro-EU.

  • As far as I know, the Tories are currently becoming more and more hostile toward the EU, aren't they?

  • The Tories aren't to be trusted - they're the ones who lied to us in the first place under Ted Heath. However, they like to keep the pretense that they are conservative, so the Tories claim to be 'Eurosceptic', whatever that means? They haven't promised the electorate any say in the EU, and have certainly not promised a vote for complete secession from the EU, which is only offered by fringe parties whom have little influence.

  • yes, but wich one?

And between what they say and what they then will do.

Blair was supposed to be a nice "progressist" boy.

He turned into a war criminal...

  • if the nwo is that obvious n is supposed2be a global fascism, we all deserve a lifetime room in the fema hotels.

  • oh, eu brings back deathpenalty(licence to shoot included), in case of insert bs reasons wich are happening.

better check this out, demonstrations can be shot down.

legislative n executive power over lives given2cops.

n yes deathpenalty law>national constitution, asa lissabon traity is implemented.

    good luck,ppl.

  • eu promised theres no war possible in the eu.

well, what will nations do if it collapses economically?

    tickle eachothers balls?

    voluntary, again, DUMBASS INTERVIEWER, eu=

    monarchys(under vatican,remember)+losers of ww2.

off fukking course eastern eu nations voluntarly join, theyre who profit by joining.

  • 4th reich, new roman empire.

    this will sooo fail.

i wouldnt mind every1 beeing bombed 50yrs back, this dullness of all is sickening.

    haha, plment choosen by ppl?

    fukking dumbass , thats no parlament , oh,plz stfu(interviewr)

  • EU .. has been in existence 15 years..and it has ALREADY driven Europe to commit suicide via muslim immigration and birthrates.

    15 fvcking years.

  • Yes, muslim immigration is really the biggest problem..???!!! You're insane.

  • support the againstEU channel and say NO to EU

  • eu is built to balance russia and north american union to balance china but they all will end eating each other or uniting in nwo or beeing all destroyed as in the past.now are 6 billion demons on earth

  • the UK doesn't need the stinking carcass of the eu and once we have destroyed nu labour at the next election we will have our referendum

we will vote NO to the eu

the British people want to leave the eu and they will get their way - politicians are not there to be obeyed (despite what little schoolboys think) - they are there to represent the wishes of the majority

tony blair and peter mandleson should be assassinated - plans are in hand to do just that

  • I couldn't have put it any better myself m8. Practically everyone I meet in the UK wants OUT of the European Union. No-one wants to be ruled by MEP's who have not been elected by anyone. The British people are sick to the back teeth of new labour and it's lies. GET RID OF THEM, so that we can get back to being "British".

Goodbye New Labour, you were the worst thing that has ever happened to us.

  • what the do we need a centralized government for, it just becomes farther and farther away until you never know what those sleasy fucks are doing

  • Well said, and I would love a proponent of large centralized government to offer a reply.

  • The EU opens a gate to the fascist Islam religion in all European states. Our citizens must make the EU control immigration, become more democratic and help the newer EU states to get rid of poverty. Albania and Kosovo are not accepted into the EU if you ask me.

Anyway, things are very difficult. I do not pretend to be an expert like this wonderful man is, I already knew him at young age, as my aunt lived in Russia and was connected to the few opportunism.

  • The European Union was a project started by Jean Monnet and Robert Schuman--in the shape of the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC)--in the 1950s to, once and for all, bring peace to the sub-continent. In this sense it has been very successful.

Those ideologues who speak of a 'Stalinist state' ignore the inconvenience of historical facts. Quit making false analogies... But you probably won't, because you know that merely opening a book would destroy your misguided 'ideology'.

  • The European Project was hijacked. Those who oppose EU ssR right now and Brussels centralism are not saying they opposed cultural and economic European cooperation on a nation-state-level of mutual independence. I agree with Adenauer, the great Schuman and other founding fathers, but not with the Federalism, the socialists hijacking the EU alongside liberal radicals and anti-Christians. Adenauer and Schuman would be anti-Lisbon today too. Anti-marxist, against the Eu sponsored cultural revolutio

  • The EU=a modern day stalinist state

  • Fuck the E.U

  • If wee take Sweden for a example, when it entered the EU, you could no longer go too the bank with X-money. They would ask you:

    - Where did you get the money?

It's like if EU wants to control the people.

EU will be the second Sovjetunion.

Just too few people understand it.

  • I like this guy! he is very clever!

  • Eu will become more like the us rather than the soviet union. Still this is old news when the eu started up people started talking about this. You will see the eu take away each country laws (yep) there boarders from each other(yep) making clones out of each others states etc . The only difference is we can vote.

  • like the UK can NOT vote on the latest EU constitution??????????????

  • ok you got me there we have the illusion that we have a vote. Well ireland has a vote in the lisbon i can see all the vote yes signs "vote yes for a better EU" me arse they can all fuck off.

  • Yeah right.. Soviet Union with democratic elections, freedom of speech, no secret police and all that communist shit..

If the European Union is communism, why the communists are against European Union..?

  • Europe is Nazi always has been always will be. A recent BBC documentary showed that the Russians have more freedoms than Europeans. When I say "more" I mean a lot lot more.

    How times have chenged.

  • freedom of speech in EU? you can't even print some tiny cartoons of mohamed, not to speak about talking openly against the multiculturalism, terrorist members of the religion of "peace" or suicidal socialist policies. people who do not share the "modern" views are fired from their jobs.

that is not how i imagine freedom of speech.

  • Yeah, fuck me there's a lot of elections, democracy and transparency in the EU and its decision-making process. What can we vote for? We can vote on a few parliamentarians to be sent to Brussels to sit in the European Parliament and vote on minor ridicolous things. The REAL Government of Europe is the European Commission, and the Commisars...I mean the Commisioners are UNELECTED and so are all their civil servants and such who make up the committees, etc. And Freedom of Speech? LMAO!

  • Very true, people need to wake up and stop indulging in the lies they are fed each day, and get some guts for once and resist

  • I wouldn't be surprised...
