Not understanding the comment at the beginning about evolution by means of natural selection, where you say "whether he was right or not we can see that every beak is specifically designed". Evolution has been shown to have happened, so is this just placating to the creationists?
@jrwagner7 No, no, no... nothing to do with creationists. Scientists agree there has been evolution, but there are different explanations. I wanted to state the characteristics we can notice in the natural world, mentioning Darwin but without giving him the 100% of the credibility. Perhaps the expression "designed" is an elegant way to show these astonishing adaptations provoking, at the same time, the question: "who designed? Nature? God?..."
