I was there last weekend and loved it, it's my second time in the last two years. They need to institute some noise rules in town for the people that live there, some folks are awfully loud. I don't have a problem with open pipes once you're on the trails, but bellowing through town at 10 AM on a Sunday morning is thoughtless in my opinion, we need to respect those whose home we are visiting and be good guests.
I live in Pine Knot Ky. Planning a ride to Black Mountain in a few months. I just got a 09 800R Outlander XT and cant wait to come there and ride. Anyone have any tips. Good place to eat, ride.........
ok one i hate ppl who come here and ride 4wheelers i live here and i have to listen to that noise every weekend, just becuz you have the 4wheeler doesnt mean you can do what you want we live here and have to deal with it, before everyone started coming and ruining our perfectly QUITE town it was fun to go riding, but people who just come in for weekends who screw it over for the rest of us i mean there are plenty of places togo riding why the hell come here
EricaMarie,Your local politicians and the state of KY are doing all they can to make Evarts the "Adventure Tourism" capital of the US. Your just going to have to get used to it or move, alot of money is going to be going into Evarts to make sure even more people come there to ride ATV's and other ORV's
I see your point about the noise The attention this place is getting is huge I can see kentucky exploding with atvs It is advertised all over the US as one of the top places to go atving I am from michigan Heard about black mountain in a atv mag and my wife and I will continue to come and spend our hard earned money in your little town I love this place everyone i have met besides you have welcomed atvs why such hate toward the people that just what to enjoy beutiful mountain trails you have
