great bike! i had this on top of my list along with a GT Tachyon and a Cannondale Quick. Cannondale won, but i had the chance to take this one out for a test ride and it was awsome!

Just purchased the Trek FX 7.3 disc. I live here in New Orleans so we always get rain and muddy roads. I see that you bought the, I believe, the Node 2 computer. I couldn't justify buying a complete race bike because I use it so much on the road, and having two bikes is out of the question. Really liking my bike.
@elgriego331 it's a great bike, but i've been doing 30+ mile rides and i think for the $700 price tag that maybe i should have waited and purchased a road bike. But hey you live and you learn
@therottinzombie Thinkin the exact same thing. I love it so far actually, but I really wish I would have waited and saved a bit more and gotten a Madone. It really is a solid bike though. Great for my commutes to work. How many miles you got on that beute?
Nice bicycle! Except for the seat. It looks like it would get stuck in your ass. It's a brick with a skin of plastic over it.

I'm looking at the Trek user reviews on their website - everyone says the seats are uncomfortable - on both 7.3 and Kaitai. How do you find yours?
