@RoyalWaste i think it was better cos none of the funny jokes n scenes were given away like months before so there wasn't people repeatin them n botchin them up like in comedy trailers now. i thought it was gonna be a horror movie. than the first scene with jack n it zooms out n his boat is half underwater. the crowd laughed much louder than alot of comedy movies now cos the whole cinema wasn't excepting it so they did something right. n all 4 being in the top 50 grossing movies says something

It kind of felt like an episode spin off show that a character from the original show guest stars in (The star being Depp). I think my problem is i'm trying to compare it with the other three rather than seeing it as a film on it's own. This movie could have honestly been such a classic, if only they got rid of the 2 worsts actors/actresses ever - Orlando bloom and Keira Knightly. Horrible. They ruined every scene they were in, but at least the talents Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush made up for it.
I remember going to watch this movie! My sister dragged my mom and me along, and I was so worried that it was going to be scary or that I wouldn't be allowed in because it was PG-13 and I wasn't thirteen yet... haha! My mom didn't want to see it but now it's one of her favorite movies!

I concur, the only way to make a good trailer for this movie is to show every scene in it.... but I don't see the point in watching a trailer that lasts 2 hours.

This movie could have honestly been such a classic, if only they got rid of the 2 worsts actors/actresses ever - Orlando bloom and Keira Knightly. Horrible. They ruined every scene they were in, but at least the talents Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush made up for it.

I remember going to watch this movie! My sister dragged my mom and me along, and I was so worried that it was going to be scary or that I wouldn't be allowed in because it was PG-13 and I wasn't thirteen yet... haha! My mom didn't want to see it but now it's one of her favorite movies!

what's everyone's problem with the trailer. It's perfectly. Definitely better than 2 and 3's trailers. It's intense in the end, with great music, and best shots of the film. Some people need help.
