I only have the Fable not with the the lost chapters and when i beat the game, it sucked cause i couldn't play anymore i had to start all over again -.- and i bought with microsoft points too.

@2000sk8er he only time i have had that happen to me is when disc was a bit screwed up. Even if it plays it well on the original Xbox it could have an issue with the 360. The only thing i could say is make sure the game is clean and not too scratched. Also i believe the lost chapter doesn't work well on the 360 in the first place.

@sk8rlnk No. The lost chapters game is compatible but with lots of bugs apparently.

@taethekoreanking You just need Xbox live and an official 360 hard drive and you can download it on xbox live. Just go to marketplace on Xbox live and look under f in the games section. You can also play the original disk if you have it. This way you don't have to pay for it twice.

FABLE 1 is still the best, FABLE 3 is way too corny and modernized.... I still play it but FABLE 1 just had that feel to it that made it stand alone compared to other fantasy rpg games.

honestly I'm replaying my Original fable on my 360 and I keep getting crazy glitches on my characters face. He sometimes gets green eyes, leaves on his face, red skin, random faces on his chest, and much more. Why is that??

@jetpriest I'm not sure. I haven't had that problem but sometimes there are glitches with some games when your xbox is set to different resolutions. That's all i can think of. Are you using the dlc or the disk. If it's the disk maybe the disk needs to be repaired. I had an issue where an original disk played fine on my original xbox but then when i put it in my 360 it glitched. Then i put it through my skip dr. and it played fine.

Nice comparison. Backwardscompatibility on the 360 is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. Shame they didn't improve it to include more games. I guess they just stopped updating somewhere in 2008 or something like that.

I guess they optimized the loading off HD which of course is faster than using a lens and disc. It could also be 'the same version' bit for bit without any remastering and solely the benefit of loading off HD and thus being a tad faster.

wow, for some reason i expected the disc to have better loading times... i was wrong! otherwise they look nearly identical

@VideeyaGames No because the disk has to spin and use the lens and all that. The dlc version doesn't require anything like that so it loads faster. It also keeps the 360 quieter and cooler. Also if your disc is scratched it will take longer to load and might skip a lot.

@endre1989 I'm not a huge rpg person but my friend is obsessed with this whole series. He just got Xbox live so i'm trying to get him to upgrade to a gold account so i can do some footage of us playing coop online in fable 2 and hopefully 3 if i get it.
