You have learned a valuable lesson. Now, a year later the cards are no longer worth the money they were when you sent them. He will never pay you. I learned back in my 20s that you dont loan money unless you can afford to never see it again. Getting money back from loans is just a plus! The guy is a dirt bag to do what he did. But remember, Loans rarely get paid back by people. Only your best friend would pay you back. I dont get burned because I do not loan anymore. Sorry this happened to you!
I think its horrible that you have not gotten better paid for your cards. If its to any trust that info will come to good use because i now know not to deal with him. Ive seen a few things he sell and buy and ive been tempted several times. But now i know its all an scam from his part. You have done what you could but he has not.

Just to give u an example how would you feel if u sent me $980 and i said i waz going to send u two gtx 580's but u never get them and u keep asking me and i keep telling u ohh my wife forgot to send it out or i forgot or i got shot in the arm so now i am in the hospital or my wife left me and she took half of everything.all in ayear

Sorry but about the whole video card thing being stuck at the airport, my father in law's brother works for customs and it works like this , 1) After 9/11 all package that are left at the airport in delivery services are there more than 5-7 days will go under TSA supervision aka customs, 2) they will report the package as lost in found, 3) after 3-5 days will be send back to the postal service that had it delivered,
@PowerGPUcom I'm really sorry that this happen to you but I know how this stuff works...Either he'd lie or 1 out of 100,000 chances that the problems happen as he said it did but no way. Something is tell me that it was a scam from the beginning. Note I am not trying to take side here but I see a lot of wrong coming from him for not even sending a payment for your lost right away. That would have been the smart thing to do and none of this that is currently happen would have taken place.
And to make things clear the air, if he was so smart why didn't he have mailing insurance for something that was so expense? That way he doesn't lose or you would not lose, he will either have to be send a payment by his mail provider and with that pay you for the cards. everyone wins. But then again maybe that is also a option that might of happen and he kept the mail insurance but didn't want to send it because you would not know what happen.
4) you should have request or gotten a letter from the postal service about the package that there was a issue delivering the packages and either insufficient mailing funds were not provided or issues with boxing. (address wasn't clearly identifiable.) For me I get stuff from Japan from my Family all the time and there been twice this has happen with items being shipped and return this way and now I know what to do and my family back in Osaka. Thank you my father in law's brother (~_^)
