What would a Pitbull thats part Wolf look like? I hear of people who own Wolf Hybrids but there mostly mixed with German Shepherd, Siberian Husky or Alaskan Malamute for best results. But has anyone ever breeded a Pitbull and a Wolf together? I think that be a cool Dog to have a Wolf/Pitbull mix then thieves will think twice before robbing your house lol.

The haters need to do some research. Both trainers and vets tell me that they get more aggression from labs and golden retrievers. Pits are awesome! Mine is 8 months old and has a heart of gold.

To breed-specific haters - there is no bad breed, just irresponsible owners. I have an Alapaha Blueblood Bulldog. He's shown aggression to strangers and other dogs, so he is muzzled when he HAS to be around either of those, such as at the vet. If I ignored his behavior and put him in a situation and he bit someone, it would be MY fault, not his. Dogs are individuals, and they should be treated as such. Think about it.
@TheRiverFinn Perhaps... but about 1/3 of all fatalities caused by dogs are attributed to pit bulls. Pitts and Rotts about 1/2 of all deaths. From my perspective I wouldn't want to live next door to either.
That being said, you are much more likely to die in a car accident than by a dog. More people will die today in a car crash than in the next three years from dogs.
Did you rescue your dog or something? It's due to bad socialisation while young that they go for strangers and other dogs. My dog is now not getting along with other dogs, due to moronic owners that let their dogs off the lead, and because he's a small dog he doesn't stand a chance, due to being bitten up by bigger dogs over five times, he no longer likes bigger dogs and barks and growls at them, as a precaution I keep him away from the owners and dogs.
@sorryunlucky Yes, he was a puppy mill rescue. He came to live with us at 4 wks old. He was highly socialized with other people and dogs, but his behavior just continued to get worse. We had to make the hard choice to put him down in Dec. He was a ticking time-bomb, but we recognized that. Behavior experts, trainers, and vets all tried to help, but they all urged me to put him down. Does that mean his breed is a bad breed? No. He was an inbred dog with a lot of mental and physical issues.

Once he was out of the picture, our youngest dog, an American Pit Bull Terrier, blossomed like a spring flower. I think he was afraid of Otto and his anxiety contributed to some of his destructive behaviors. He lives indoors with a mixed breed, and they get along great.
All animals must be respected. It is a mistake to think you know them. They are not human and when the conditions are right, their priority is food, prey, defense. We live in an era when a lot of people are sheltered from these realities.This misunderstanding sadly, whoever is to blame, results in the animal having to be destroyed. In the case of children or the general public being attacked by dogs, I cannot see any valid reason for having such potentially vicious dogs in the first place.
@Theshofumiah1 The term Pit Bull classifies three types of dogs. The American Pit Bull Terrier, The Staffordshire Terrier, and the Bull Terrier. This dog IS a pit bull as pit bull does not refer to only one type of dog.
A nabor's pitbull attacked one of my dogs once, and you know what? I still love pitbulls. (I wouldn't want to own a big dog, only because I prefure smaller dogs, but of all the large dog breeds, I like pitbulls the best) I've known many people with many different pits, and each and everyone of those dogs have been some of the nicest I've ever known.
I played this just to mess with my pit haha. He's like "WHAT? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING?!" but yeah, Pit are jut very protective of their owners. My dog is the sweetest most loving dog int he world, but the other day my step dad came in my room to show me his paintball gun and my dog couldn't see him all too well and he got super fucking protective. It was pretty awesome :DD

@si92uwp how many chiuaua attacks have you seen? a pitbull has to strong of a jaw, and their strength, which makes them deadly, so when they do attack, they do more damage than a poodle or chiuaua, that is why people think their bad dogs. they are nonetheless animals, and should not be seen as humans.

The American pitbull was the most popular FAMILY dog, yes you read correct, family dog in the 20th century. Also a countless number of other breeds get mistaken for pitbulls all the time. The American Dogo looks similiar to a pitbull, a boxer has been mistaken for a pitbull even saint Bernard's and Rottweilers. They will always be great dogs, blame the owner not the loyal dog.

@karooyomitoheagato Well, it does make the inner ear a bit easier to clean. But for the most part the reason I have my dogs ears cut is mostly just for looks. If I have a dog that holds its ears well I wont mess with them. What I mean is that some apbt's have good and symetrical cartiledge in the ears which in turn causes the dog to hold its ears erect and proper, some do not and their ears are all out of wack. Overall I just generally prefer the look of a dog with cut ears. Just my opinion.

i still can't understand why pitbulls are stereotyped. to me, a bad pitbull is almost like the ,,bad luck'' of a black cat, but the stereotypes are both ignorant and stupid. i really think and know that the pitbulls if trained properly are wonderful and loyal dogs. but the stupid human being uses them as killing machines and all. if a dog is bad and it has an owner, than it is the owner's fault. i personally love this breed and plan to own one in the future.

No one wants them, as they have a reputation as a ''thug's dog'' which is a pity. These dogs need good, sensible owners, and then the dogs are lovely.A woman i know has a really big bull breed, and he is a rescued dog, but as good as gold.He once lived on the streets, and is a lovely dog.

Pitts are the sweetest dogs ever,, unless there owners are dicks. just because they can kill, so can any other breed. I have a pittbull puppy and she's with me right now. she sleeeps in my bed everynightdoesnthurt. and yet everday when i take her for walks , people go onto the otherside of the street just because she's a pitbullmix. she woould never harm a fly.. and my family has 5 kids.. she plays and swims with us and has NEVER bit us ever and has never been mean.. get over it.. pits are best!

@si92uwp how many chiuaua attacks have you seen? a pitbull has to strong of a jaw, and their strength, which makes them deadly, so when they do attack, they do more damage than a poodle or chiuaua, that is why people think their bad dogs. they are nonetheless animals, and should not be seen as humans.

The American pitbull was the most popular FAMILY dog, yes you read correct, family dog in the 20th century. Also a countless number of other breeds get mistaken for pitbulls all the time. The American Dogo looks similiar to a pitbull, a boxer has been mistaken for a pitbull even saint Bernard's and Rottweilers. They will always be great dogs, blame the owner not the loyal dog.

Dogs in general have a natural instinct to chase prey and some people bring the instinct in this breed out in a negative way in some individuals. @karooyomitoheagato Well, it does make the inner ear a bit easier to clean. But for the most part the reason I have my dogs ears cut is mostly just for looks. If I have a dog that holds its ears well I wont mess with them. What I mean is that some apbt's have good and symetrical cartiledge in the ears which in turn causes the dog to hold its ears erect and proper, some do not and their ears are all out of wack. Overall I just generally prefer the look of a dog with cut ears. Just my opinion.
