What a great video and a beautiful male! My family and I just lost our male a few weeks ago to a bone tumor and major leg infection due to failing into things from loosing control of his front leg. This video made me cry and I hope you have yours for many many years!

@andrewhurrell We are looking are getting another one in the early new year. We still have a female that is older and find it best to bring a new one in with an older one to teach the ropes lol And we are looking at another male for sure too. We have found that the males are quiet the characters lol

That's great, I also adopted a dog that was mistreated and abandoned. she was 6 when I got her. 10 today. And she's such a great pet ! I take her everywhere with me, walk 2 times a day in the woods. Feels so good to see her happy at last :-) I've bought pets before but since I've adopted her.. Never again.. There are so many good dogs in rescue centers. Bravo to you !

Stories like this help me keep faith in humanity. My dog was extremely skittish and shy when I got him, but boy did his personality come out when it did.

Put him to sleep back in April :(. One of the saddest days of my life.

Did he come from Noahs Ark in Puerto de Mazarron? I know it well, we have a rescue Boxer that was found roaming Camposol in a similar condition that you described, we had to carry him up the stairs when we first got him home as he couldn't manage them. He's a bundle of energy now though.

Glad to hear that you have joined the rescue brigade with your Boxer, and good news that he has recovered well.

I reckon we would all love to home more of these dogs if only money and circumstances would allow!

Harvey has a brother (better looking) in the kennels as i write, I would love him as well but walking 3 on a lead ???

Sorry to make you cry...it happens to me all the time when i see greyhounds in kennels. They always look so dignified and regal. These dogs seem to have an almost spiritual quality.
