Only the handful of ignorant people Black, White, Or Other are the causes is such action. The effects are terrible for the most who are innocent folks.
The Use of the N word describing any human being, and the description of those of color as apes etc..only stirs up bad things. I cannot believe that The Lostangel213 has such limited heart. I hope people with emotions such as that, will somehow come to realize how hurtful those attitudes are. We are once again a divided nation. PRAY!
Niggers will always be niggers no matter what. Fucken apes they need to have their freedom taken away so the country could be a better place for everyone!!
@TheLostangel213 The funny thing is that you truly believe that the whites who denied these people education and jobs are not culpable. When white thugs where murdering and lynching blacks no one has a problem with it, but when these people acted out against a system that locked them out I guess they are to blame.Educated people don't riot, employed people don't constantly engage in criminal activity. People always say stupid shit without ever truly analyzing the issues.
@TheOrleanian The Watts riots were started because Marquette Frye was arrested for DUI. His mother and brother were arrested too for fighting with the arresting cop. Other cops were called in, but a crowd gathered and started throwing rocks and bricks. My grand mother who was in her 50s was coming home (she lived in Watts). She was not a cop. Her car was hit with bricks and she was nearly pulled from her car. This was mostly a reason for punks to raise Hell and thugs to loot and steal.
@GypsyMofakka I am familiar with the history of the Watts riots. My father was in LA visiting friends in the weeks leading up to the riots and got the hell out of dodge when they started. In my opinion If a person sees injustice but does nothing then they are just as guilty as the people perpetrating the injustice. Most whites from that era say that they never attacked blacks but they didn't do anything to stop the attacks on blacks either.
@TheOrleanian True, but the target should have been the PD, mayor, city council, and especially the chamber of commerce. Few of the targets were police. Most of the targets were local businesses owned by black people. My grandmother's neighbors stayed at her house and answered the door so she wouldn't be shot. She wrote and spoke to the city council about the police and the unemployment in her neighborhood. MLK and the NAACP were right to condemn these riots.

@GypsyMofakka I agree. The riots absolutely didn't achieve the desire objective, which is the end of tyranny.
