Thank u for the video. I just gave birth to a little girl and am a single mon. This is something to keep in mind for myself and her. Especially when thinking of dating as a single mom. I appreciate the video.
Thank you so much for posting this video! It is how you carry yourself that gets you the good or bad attention that you want. Some women just go out shaking their behind, but they want a decent man in their life. How can you obtain that when you carry yourself in such a manner. And then they want to complain about how men treat them...come on now...But thank you for posting this! We as women are worth more than anything! :)
What a great video! It's so unfortunate that a lot of women AND men feel disillusioned and worthless. I see it everywhere. I hope your video can reach someone and possibly change their life.
Great video Girl I am 10 days away from finishing a book called Choosing to Choose it is changing my life!! It us all about mental models and how we view our lives and circumstances it tires in to so much you were saying . And yes this is domestic violence awareness month we had a vigil here in NC.
@rmbb10 Aww, thanks honey <3 It was really heavy on my heart. Especially having experienced it when I was younger. It was everywhere and I felt like I needed to speak on it...xoxo
and it just makes u wonder what are kids witnessing in the home to cause them to become abusers at a young age and for that young person to be too scared to reach out..and it is sad to think of how many teens may go thru abuse in secret until things go too far
@blackpepper7 It really really is. And so sad. I think it just comes from ignorance. Though I allowed my boyfriend at the time to abuse me, I was not raised in an abusive household. Knowledge is the key to everything. Hopefully those kids will come to question things as theye grow...it's part of the reason that I made this video. I hope that this reaches at least one person...
great vid. My ex Husband I and I use to to verbily fight all the time and sometimes our daughter would here. So I told him for us and our daughter have to end our marriage before it gets worse. We didnt want our daughter thinking this is out married life is suppose to be. I didnt want her growing me like be arguing all the time with a man she loved or finding a man like her dad would argue all the time as well. Now that her dad and I are no longer together. We get along. I really love this vid.
@TianaSunshine Thank you Tiana for sharing your story. I think it is so commendable that you and your ex-husband were able to see what was happening from the inside and make it right for you two as well as your baby. I can't imagine how hard that must have been for both of you. Blessings to you and your family...xoxo
this is good that u chose to speak on this topic..us adults need constant reminders but esp our teen girls.. just last week the was a girl here in calif(south gate) who was stabbed by her ex boyfriend..came to her high school and did this. this is not the first story i heard with this same scenario.. and most likely that relationship may have been abusive which is probably why he was an ex.
@blackpepper7 OMG...that is incridible...horrible. I don't know if we are just starting to see these stories in the news or if it's that our teens are really going through it as of late. Teen dating abuse seems to be on the rise. Our girls and guys just don't know what healthy relationships are supposed to be...and how to react when things don't go the way that they plan. Hhhhh, it breaks my heart.
Hi Dyna,, Huni I really admire and respect you, thank you for the great video, I love watching and listening to you, you're full of wisdom :) every thing you said is true. I know how it feels to be a victim of abuse :(( I enjoyed your video, please try to do more of these videos. God bless you and your loved ones xxx
@orerororeo Hey sweetie, thank you for watching...it was just so heavy on my heart...I had to jump up and make this video...xoxo, blessings to you and yours as well
@ajannasmom Good message. I think sometimes girls think they know their worth until they get into a relationship, then they get blind sided with feelings they haven't experienced before. A man can never lay a hand on you, but still be just as "abusive". I was in a relationship like that once, I gave him power because I was younger and naive. I let him define me by his words. So sometimes I felt like a princess & other times with the snap of his finger, I felt lower then the dirt I walked on.
@babysisv So true V, thank you for sharing this too. I agree...same happened to me. You THINK you know, but in the midst of the 'love' you lose sight...we have to teach our girls and guys not to lose sight...
So inspirational and so true...I am a 21 yr old female, had a wonderful upbringing but was molested at a young age and when i lost my virginity at 18 I went a lil overboard from about age 18-20 and found myself early this year, thankfully me going overboard didn't lead to kids or stds and now I'm in a healthy relationship with someone who knows my worth, my past and helps me be a better person.
@333jojob I'm so proud of you!! I can't imagine what you went through when you were young...predators are at the top of my 'straight to hell' list. Things happen, I think most people go through an 'overboard' phase...whether it's at 18 or 40...it's just about recognizing and gathering yourself to rebuild. Blessings to you and your partner xoxo
