interesting that the music used on this promo was the same music as used on the Back To The Cul De Sac break bumpers (in the US - not here in the UK)... was this recording from the original CBS promo for Just Like Old Times in 1993? If so, suddenly makes sense why this music was used in the BTTC-d-s break bumpers!
The new Knots would star some hot new talent, like Matt Bomer from White Collar, Annalynne McCord (KL would steal her from 90210!), maybe the grown-up Kent Masters-King from Knots, who has since done a daytime soap... and along with the new talent and maybe people like James VanderBeek, we would have FRONT AND CENTER these regulars: Michele Lee, Billy Dee Williams as her new love interest (Mack will have died), Ted Shackelford and Joan Van Ark , Donna Mills, and Tonya Crowe!
Thank you for this gem from the past! I still have the full last episode (and the preceding back-to-the-cul de sac special!) on tape, with not the best sound any longer. This show was awesome, and instead of these retreads of Melrose Place and 90210, we need Knots Landing 2 to be born!
Knots Landing was my all time favorite evening drama.
