  • Not intending to be rude to anyone with autism, but I would sure love to have his memorizing capacity.

  • I know someone whose child has autism. He did nothing but kick and scream, even though he was already 10, and had little social skills. It was really stressful on him. One day someone suggested to him to watch the show, "My Little Pony." And a few days later, his child stopped screaming, and was actually responsive to people! My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a great way to keep your special child calm. He can even meet people just like him through the show!

  • Cute little boy, though I don't see any evidence of Autism.

  • Cute Kid!!

  • 11 lbs WOW. ouch mom!

  • He is so cute! My cousins son has autism and its amazing how smart they are but there is alot of bumps in the road for him!

  • His eyes are gorgeous!

  • GOD BLESS YUOR SON

  • Please have a listen to my song Far Far Away, it was inspired by my son and autism. Cheers!

  • While other parents were trying to get their kid to spell cat, your kid was writing Pixar and movie credits! You've got a little gem!

  • i watched this video it must of have been 2007.It was one of the 1st videos i watched about autism i was 10 then this video confirmed what i have wanted to do my whole life and help these special kids with autism. I am 15 now. I guess Quinn would be about 10 now. Best wishes

  • How beautiful boy.

  • Really smart boy :)

  • He is a beautiful boy!!!

  • God bless his soul..autistic but really gifted child

  • my brother is a 19 year old with autism. He is nonverbal. He has been watching the same shows since he was a baby and too carries the DVD cases with him. I hope that one day he too repeats the credits or titles.

  • i dont really know what this is so i am searching..but as i see he is smart...i am really amazed by the things he can do...i dont get it why autism then is bad when he can memorize write line up things and the things he does in the video at a so young age

  • This is sad! My best friend Gillian has a brother named Joey who has autism!

  • Out of curiosity who did you take your son to see for diagnosis and treatment? (before any therapy)

  • i know what its like my brothers autistic :(

  • Wow, this video made me cry a little bit. Your son looks a little like my son. The Catherine Wheel song didn't help with me choking back the tears either. My wife takes care of a child with autism. He's a very smart kid who, much like your son, likes to stack stuff and put things in order. He's a very well behaved kid with a great ear for music, since his dad is a musician in one of my bands. He's got a great family and caring people all around him, and with that in his life, he'll go far!

  • I help out in an autistic unit and all of the children are beautiful and very bright, this is a lovely and touching video best of luck for you and your child x

  • omg y does everyone say autistic people are all the same theyre not and theyre not bright either theyre retarded thats the exact opposite of bright having an autistic child is a gift from hell all it does is get in the way of everything and u have to take care of a baby all your life they are so frustrating and the break everything and theyll make u treat everyone like a big goddamn baby trust me if you have an autistic fetus abort it right away because this will ruin u for the rest of your life

  • This Beautiful boy reminds me of my autistic son. He is obsessed with the movie credits, movie production etc aswell. Such beautiful minds!

  • Just beautiful boy!

  • He is so adorable!!! OMG <3

  • He is cute adorable and sweet also very smart & intelligent

  • What a lovely child, God has given him a wonderful gift. :)

  • trully inspiring!

  • i have an autisic son he is the best thing that ever happen 2 me i love you niko thanks 4 letting me b your mom

  • I have "small autism" ... not typical Autism not bad one but more smaller...

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • this video made me tear up. awh he is so adorable i am a mother of an autistic 21month old .

  • My Sons Dad is gifted without Autism. Our Son has been stacking/lining things up since 2. Doing shape sorters correctly since 17 months. Able to plug in keyboards/computer mouses into the correct areas at the back or front of the computer. Pull things apart & try & put them back together. Taught himself to draw, to write through cool school or a tracing letters book. Shakes head, might make some silly noises, stand & stare into space, lie on ground after walking. Does/Says stuff to laugh at.

  • Touching video. Liked the music. A beautiful child!

  • I am a volunteer in a day-center for autistic children, in Greece.

I wish I had the chance of meeting this smart and sweet, tiny-person! He'd have been my favorite, from the very first moment!

  • my brother has autism. He just like your son. Its really hard to live like that. Im only 15 and my mom has MS. I hope your son keeps on growing to be an intelligent person. He's really adorable. Hope for the best!

  • I know an autistic boy named Evan, he is going to be an amazing astronamer one day. Want to know how I know? Because when I was little I spent time outside having fun with my buds. He spends his inside learning that the moon was once part of earth, and that black holes are created be stars. hes 7 and can walk circles around ANY 16-18 year old I know when it comes to space. He is amazing.

  • Being a family counselor for troubled ones, my favorite kids are the ones with autism. They make me smile when I interact with them & get to leave the home laughing. They are clever, speak their mind if they have a good enough vocab, & I see many of them be very caring. To those who insult this video or degrade those with autism, get a life & grow up. I can't understand why someone would give a video about an autistic child a thumb down. Maybe they just hate their own lives deep down?!

  • i have recently been diagnosed with aspergers syndrome, it is on the autistic spectrum, im 15 years old and i didn't know i had it, when i see these videos and read some articles its like looking back on my life out of a book. i can remember me doing all of these things and wich i still do today, good luck in the future nancy :)

  • One of my twin boys have autism and it's definitley a struggle at times but I see it as a blessing that God chose me to be his mother!! He is a huge reason why I am now on a journey to lose 300 pounds. I need to be able to keep up with him,:)

  • You have the kid that is on the Wikipedia page for autism

  • I have autism and no one knows...

  • What a beautifull little boy!

  • A wonderful video about a beautiful kid. Nice job!

  • 1:19 thats the picture on wikipedia when you search autism.

  • Thanks for creating this video.

Our son has Asperger's - I remember and relate to all the things you mentioned in the video. Decades later, I'm still learning long after the fact.

  • Autism is an evolutionary survival trait and should be cherished. All major inventions were made by people who would be considered on the autistic spectrum. Einstein is one of them.

  • So i think i might know the answer... but what do you think when i say:

    Autism Speaks?

    Good or bad?

  • my brother has autism.. life is really rough sometimes but i love him <3

  • My son is 25 he is also Autistic ,it has been such a unique challenge so much heart break so much joy, lots of confusion and I wouldnt want any of it to change ,Love you Zach

  • Omg you are blessed

  • What a beautiful piece!

  • I think autism is very spiritual, they arnt caught up in societies game. They are prolly truly happy, most people cant say that.

  • i watched this many years ago when i was 9. i am now 14, when i watched this vid, it confirmed what i wanted to do in life..... Help kids with autism ;) xxx

  • He had a long attenton span for TV.

    Hm...

The average American watches TV more than 4 hours everyday.

    If that isn't long enough...

  • to all the fucking haters...what if this was you what if you had to face the challenges of an autistic kid?????

  • He is a bright intelligent little boy..

  • I think this might help people realise that alot of autistic children (Including me) are PROUD to be counted among eachother x

  • looks very healthy and happy!

  • Autism has so many different "facets" that there are often "no two autistic children alike". Like snowflakes. Each has their own special challenges, quirks and talents. Here is my son who is now almost 8 years old. When he was diagnosed, they said he would never speak, or be a functioning member of society. (cruel!)...enjoy my video of him taken today! Go to my account!

  • I have an autism, but I found it out not so long ago. I always had some problems by talking to other people that I don't know, but I thought I'm doing this just because I'm shy. And few more of minor symptoms applies to me like shaking arm, leg, but it seems that I can control those movements if I only think about it.

  • Aspergers all the way but a much more mild form. This kid is gonna be amazing one day!

  • i love this video , i love the song that has been used. my son has autism it gives me hope and understanding for the future ma solitudia , love to you all that visits this page . TRUTH is that all our kids are amazin we will all find the brillance in our children.

Why? because they are the one that stand alone in the crowd but shine like a star when comes to the inteligence of our little ones

  • my son is autistic too

  • HOW DO PEOPLE HATE ON A POOR LITTLE CHILD WITH A DISABILITY?!!!

WHAT THE EFF KIND OF PEOPLE

  • I am really surprised how u can say such brilliant son as autistic? please consult with any good reputed doctor

  • Hi, I think this is a beautiful video.

  • Thanks for sharing this video. I am a nursing student and watching videos about autism and also the impact on families. Your video was a pleasant window into your life. It made it out to be very pleasant, have there been challenging times as well?

  • 112 people have no heart

  • Quinn reminds me of my autistic nephew, Aaron. Aaron is an incredible artist and would write out Disney and Pixar movie titles exactly as they appeared on the movie box or in the credits and would recreate the characters amazingly well from very early on. He is a very sweet boy who has a certain way he prefers to do things. I love him dearly and so does his mom, my sister. He's come a long way thanks to early intervention.

  • Gorgeous kid......

  • Beautiful, thank you for sharing :)

  • you sure this kid has autism? Just seems like a bright kid

  • @wolfisloose so what are you saying, a kid with autism can't be bright?

  • @wolfisloose autism does not mean a person is not bright, it just means they have a different way of communicating. you should say things like that because then people start to associate autism with being stupid

  • @wolfisloose Lots of us are VERY bright. What often slows us down is not getting physical med care. We don't show pain as Neurotypicals do. Show by rocking, flapping &/or by screaming & shouting. Faces stay serene. Forget to make eye contact with Doctors & others. We also assume that others know how we feel. They don't. Gets us not taken seriously. Everything gets blamed on Autism. Get told to go to Shrinks before tests are ran. Went years without care. Kept me from finishing college.

  • @wolfisloose All his little quirks fit the diagnostic criteria for Autism.

  • @wolfisloose You obviously hasn't watched the next video - he is non-verbal apart from repeating movie credits and the like, there is a lot more to him than what you have seen in this vid :)

  • @wolfisloose autism kids can be bright...?

  • @wolfisloose

So.... I'm mildly autustic and I was a near Straight A student in high school with only one B.

No idea why people thumbs you up, you know nothing of Autism, not every autistic kid is the same. Some are self-injurious (Can't help hitting themselves), some are loud and can't help it, some hate loud sounds, and other types of behavior.

Yeah for your information, I LOVE loud sound. Music and from games.

  • @wolfisloose Some kids are really bright, because being autistic doesnt mean you have mental problems.

  • @wolfisloose people on the autism spectrum range wildly in cognitive abilities from severe to genius

  • @wolfisloose

He displays symptoms of hyperlexia (being very good at reading/writing extremely young *without* having been taught either). Most hyperlexic kids are on the autism scale.

  • @wolfisloose A very bright kid! Those innocent blue eyes would soften the hardest of souls.

  • I don't mean to pry but how is Quinn doing these days? I hope everything is well.

  • @wolfisloose probably on the lower end of the spectrum...

  • @wolfisloose - This boy is a high functioning autistic child. They very much like us but have some great talents. My child is at broderline and is 4 and can draw amazing.

  • @wolfisloose Kids with autism are really intelligent..

  • Autism is classified by the American Psychiatric Association as one of a group of disorders known as the pervasive development disorders (PDD). In addition to autistic disorder, the other types of pervasive developmental disorders include Asperger's syndrome, childhood disintegrative disorder, Rett disorder, and pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified (PDD NOS)

So, I think we need to seperate PDD from PDD NOS, Rett disorder & Asperger's syndrome! This will clear up confusion

  • you fucking sick bastard

  • Cool video liked it

  • Some of my nighbors have very mild atusim, almost none at all.

  • This is an amazing video....I give you all my sympathy

  • he is so cute and he dose not look like he has problems

  • AWSOME CHILD! How is he doing today? Does he have the help of Autism Speaks and do you walk for him and me?! I am a 46 yr old Autistic man!

  • Beautiful boy!

  • My son is 16. Your video just made me tear-up...until just now I thought he was the only one who did the movie credits, he was spelling/writing "Walt Disney" in cursive just as it appeared at the beginning of the films. Watching your video was like looking into a parallel world! To this day he is still doing the credits, watches movies. We are working on getting him back also, it may be later for him, but we have faith that he will come out of this. I'm so happy for your family, God Bless U all!

  • In some cases autism really does have a "face", some people with it have the "dead" stare (don't misunderstand, people with autism can feel joy and sorrow too), so in some cases you can see if someone has autism and who doesn't.

  • beautiful boy :)

    God bless him always

  • he is really smart

  • You have an absolutely beautiful little boy! God has given you a tremendous gift.

  • he only memorized the top row? i have all the letters... but then, i'm older and use computers on a very regular basis >>

  • 1:33 Kids a little AUTIST. Sorry, too easy.

  • I hope you and your cutie are doing well! My 3 year old is also spelling Pixar and stuff out on the fridge and lining things up. He isn't officially diagnosed yet, but is receiving therapies as if he was diagnosed with autism through the school. Thanks for sharing your child with us!

  • God bless y'all :D

  • My sis and bro have autism

  • This was a beautiful video thank you! We are getting my little Elijah tested for this and the nmo re I learn about this condition the more I realize and am coming to terms with it. His gift is dance and music. He can watch a video and pick up the moves very quickly. But the flailing arms and the walking on the toes and other signs are making this much more of a reality.

  • Georgeous boy, his time is yet to come... Smile those of us who give the kids all our love, time and attention AS or not, will not produce insensitive moron that you will find on the tube. thank you for sharing!

  • wow..smart kid!

  • god bless your little boy i see so much of my son in him

  • I saw that kid on wiki :D

  • I love your video and i made one very similar, my son's story is a lot like yours and he was born 7-13-02 if you would like to see my video see my profile..

  • Beautiful kid.

  • I might be taking Autism and Behavioural Science after I'm done my Early Childhood Education diploma. My cousin has Autism and I was diagnosed with a communication disability as a child and felt left out in school; I guess this is what inspired me to work with children with learning difficulties.

  • Lovely video. My autistic son has the same gorgeous striking blue eyes and a similar happy smile. He's a very happy boy.

  • Enjoy every moment know matter what!! There will never be a dull moment :)

  • My nephew has aspergers autism and he is sooooo smart too! He is a major video game fanatic, you can see him as mariofannick here on youtube! My sister is the best mom in the world and I am VERY proud of both of them!

  • He has the most beautiful eyes! Such an intelligent kid (:

  • So autism makes you smarter and recognize things faster that others??

  • Love this video, my son is 3 1/2 and just in February it was confirmed he is on a scale of autism. This video is great and its good to watch/see other people who are living with the same thing

  • Been building a website about Autism... its a very interesting subject to learn about!

  • and where is the problem ...?

  • my son also has austism and showed the same signs. he is very smart and perfect just like your child! thank you so much for sharing this video to educate and show how briliant autistic children are. :)

  • ah... I just cried... my daughter Gracie, who is now 11, used to stack dixie cups over and over. She would line everything up she could find. She would become frantic and panic stricken if we tried to take her cups. Things have changed since then but one thing never will, her autism. There are improvements, truimphs, gains but there will always be autism. A wonderful video, for sure.

  • I sure hope he gorw up well, I barely survived, funny he's the only baby I thought was cute, amazing what natural abilities we share, just avoid those pills the those doctors want us to take

  • he's gorgeous

  • I am so sorry that there are people making rude comments about your beautiful video. One of the things you had mentioned in the description and the video, that your son memorized the credits from movies ( apparently people had some issue with this), I have had many experiences with. I teach children with Autism and have been in the field for 10 years. Do not let anyone call you a bad parent! They obviously have no experience with autism. Your son seems amazing and so do you.

  • A very cute boy!!! Wish you good luck

  • The horrible thing about going through the process of a diagnosis is hearing how "horrible" autism is. You can't just watch your child do something and be happy about progress or talent. You sit there and think, "wow, he's really good at puzzles... oh no! He's really good at puzzles... that 's a bad sign." What most people fail to recognize is that a child with Austim is a child that is labeled and has AMAZING talents. Thank you for posting this. Hugs to you.

  • There are a lot of negative views posted from patents of autistic children. My son will be 4 in a few weeks and was diagnosed with ASD last June. He has his moments when he tries my patience, usually when we're on the bus or in the grocery store, but for the most part, he's active, fun, loving and such a joy to me that I couldn't imagine him any other way. I knew there had to be some parents out there who didn't cry all the time. Thank you!

  • He reminds me of my son whohas autism, he also loves pixar!

  • He is BEAUTIFUL!!! I've seen his photos on Wikipedia before! You can see the pure beauty and innocence of his soul shining so brightly through his breathtaking eyes... What a precious little boy!! This was posted over 4yrs ago. Any updates?

  • What a charming kid. :) Thanks for making this.

  • my brother has autism......we keep him in the shed in the winter and in the cage in the summer

  • Thank you for so clearly explaining things. I have been watching all these "autism" videos showing small children doing things that most kids do and being labeled autistic. I was starting to think these parents were insane and trying to get disability or some rubbish. You pictures and explanation (about stacking etc.) made so much more sense. He's beautiful btw, your son!

  • @andwhatsnext you really havr a gift from the heavens he looks so handsome and happy in those photos it brings a tear of joy to my eye and has dramatically changed me :') liked

  • His eyes are beautiful

  • Wow! Thank you for sharing that amazing video. I too am a parent of a child with autism and can appreciate those 'quirky' and unique behaviors in my own child. Really nice job, I loved it. Very special.

  • i just know that autism can be recognized before you born, thank 4 the vids

  • thanks for posting this.

  • im 14 i have autism and it has caused me no problems

  • he looks like a beautiful happyy lil angel full of love and smiles . God bless u and keep your faith ...

  • I love it i love to be with people with autism they're great

  • how is his comminication and social skilss?

  • what a beautiful boy :)

  • your boy is beautiful, Thank you so much for the permission to use parts of this video I am doing a project for C-span on the topic of autism and I am really seeing what a large (and increasing) problem it is in the united states. I work at a pre-school over the summer and I love children but I am also having to learn to look for signs of autism in children as young as two years old. again, Thank you and good luck. God bless!

  • hes so cute and he seems really creative :)

  • I dont understand what about this kid being incredibly intelligent is bad

  • im aspie myself, autism is accidental evolution

  • thank you for sharing him with all of us...

  • he is very cute

  • He looks very loved and happy

  • Thanks for uploading this, very well done, and with lots of love, it shows.

    Greetings from Montevideo, Uruguay.

  • GodBless Him....My daughter has Autism and I still can't Believe It....This Video Made Me Cry So Much....It's Painfull Because no one Knows untill they have Actually Lived It.....We have to Fight this and we can....xoxo.

  • He looks normal?

  • Wow, he is smart. I mean, he seems more advanced than a typical child his age. Is this usual with children that have autism?

  • I can't really see the problem there, if it's light autism you should be happy to know your son will probably do revolutionary work on whatever subject he fancies.

People with autism have helped make leaps and bounds in understanding human behavior and links to biology. I wish I had light autism :(

  • he seems very sweet

  • I have Austim Spectrum Disorder which was diagnosed when I was in Kindergarten.

    My autism is Aspergers Syndrome.

Some people think I have ADHD but I am not diagnosed.

I also have Tourettes which is diagnosed.

  • thanks for the insight,

    beautiful video,

    lovely child.

  • he is beautiful

  • he have some very pretty eyes

  • Awwww this little boy is truly amazing and very cute <3

  • My little brother who is also autistic (now 16) has always loved watching cartoons and movies. He's got a ton of Disney and Pixar movies, and he also started to write movie titles down on paper. He's a real creative boy, but not into stacking I think. He loves to draw, paint and take pictures. =)

  • oh my he i so so beautiful. you must feel so honored in having him for a son. i have 3 boys myself, and one son with ADHD. having children with these kinds of problems is difficult, but I know they came to me for a reason. these kids are very special.

  • Fantastic :) reminds me of my little brother whos also autisic he loves film logos for example Dreamworks, pixar,MGM,disney, paramount pictures , sony pictures and soo much more I memorised them all to because he talks about them everyday bless him :) I love him soo much Ive even got his name tattoo'd on my leg :) I have a video of him dancing :) Its called Whip my hair ( autism rocks ) <3

  • I wonder if he can count cards like Rainman?

  • Thanks for sharing something so personal. So many people don't know anything about this disorder. I am a special ed teacher's aide and I teach children just like Quinn. I always feel like I am making a difference no matter how hard my day is. I love my job.

Good luck to you and your family. He is precious.

  • He's adorable. How's he doing? I have a 14 year old with Asperger's.

  • He's not autistic, he's pure genius!!!

  • Awww. So cute, you have a beautiful son.

  • @TheGreatGyro

If Autism isn't real, then how come their are brain scans, autopsies, etc. 100% proving Autism is real. Get some fucking brains you bi-pedaled glob of shit.

  • my cousin has it and he has a really long attention span for vido games he will sit there all day and play it he only gets up to go to the bathroom or gets somthing to drink and healways wants to be by himself and hethe time talks all the time and wont shutup but he knows alot about history and math

    <
