Si acaso entiendes algo de lo que viene en la descripcion, entenderas que "cut-out" es una forma de abrir el escape para que salga mas directo, sin pasar por el escape completo. Ademas, este Mustang esta "cammed", o sea, tiene un "cam" que en nuestro idioma es un arbol de levas (espero que alguna vez hayas escuchado la marca "Comp cams", que es la que trae este, tambien hay Crower, Summit, etc). Por eso suena asi, y SI es mejor...

So im deciding between this V8 Cobra Mustang 2001 and a 2003 Nissan 350z. I want to drift, but id rather have a muscles speed. How much money will it take to get the Cobra to sound like your car? I was thinking id just put borla exhaust and VOrtech Supercharger system, and then the exterior mods i want to get... help please lol

Hi , nice car great job dude , I had a 2000 GT some bolts on , can I run 6 - 9 Psi with a powerdyne supercharger ( Its almost the same like a vortech one ) with stock internals? Hope u can answer

I'm Sure That When Its Reved Up It Sounds Nice As Hell, But I'm Not A Big Fan Of How They Sound When Their Just Sitting There Sounding Like Its Gonna Turn Off.Looks Real Nice Though.Once Again, I'm Sure It Sounds Good When Its Reved.

Thats like saying someone that bougth an ls1 camaro they shouldve bought a vette. Sometimes its cheaper to make bigger power with the "lesser" automobile. Dont get me wrong, i love 03-04 cobras but sometimes it just isnt possible to get one for some people

Insurance is a shitload on those. Whats the fun of owning a pre upgraded mustang cobra when you can buy a mustang GT and customize it just the way you want it. Cops wont bother you as much eirther. I'm almost positive this dudes mustang is faster or equal to a stock 03-04 cobra at a lesser price.

@Texarmageddon Not true at all. Like i said, its all about knowledge. Cobras are definately up there but you can easily make a Mustang faster by doing an engine swap.

@Pookie2419 What engine would you swap? Ford engines only I presume? Depending on the make and model of your car you may have the option of old small blocks. Yet, if you are running sn95 on up... the 4v is usually your best bet.

@2kstanggt i did the math, you should've bought an 03/04 cobra with the 20-25k-ish total i assume you have invested in the gt, a nice cobra with a pulley, exhaust and tune would be about the same and you'd be putting at least the same if not more hp, plus you get the drop dead gorgeous looks of the terminator

I dought it, i have an 03 with a ported blower, 16 psi and a race tune, 523 rwhp and it runs 11.12 on 17 in dragradials with stock mortor and cams. No other mustang can do that.

99-01 cobras have higher compression = more hp, but lower reliability

exactly, but if you put a blower on them, youre almost sentencing that motor to death. good n/a cars but they need some different pistons to lower compression and better head gaskets to be a reliable blower cars. not to mention that the rotating assembly is not forged, its cast so that limits you too.

If your talking about the 99 and 01 Cobras only the rods and pistons are cast, the crank is forged.

You can call Tim at modular powerhouse in georgia for the cams.. I will do a video of it on the street when I get my new supercharger on.. The cams and intercooler drop boost so thats why its only 8-10 lbs right now plus it is the stock shortblock so I dont want anymore right now
