I have seen the "The Staple Singers" perform many times. Papa sit by us twice when we were at restaurants in Memphis, before he passed. He was a very meek, and humble man....never demanded extra service because he was a famous person. Unlike other I've seen in public. There performance on "The Bands", "The Last Waltz" says it all. If you haven't seen it, check it out.
