I have seen the production as well with MICHAEL McLane and his group down in SLC. I really loved it. I have the book and cassestte, and that came out just before he started doing the productions, I understand.

Our Stake put a little twist on this song... using one man & one woman to sing a duet from 1st person (as if it were Joseph himself and the woman that the song speaks of). What an amazing spirit and different angle that the rendition gave! Can't wait to get the videos up on YouTube!!!

I've seen the play with John Mclean himself last year...this is one of my favorite songs from it. It's a great song

It has has play made for it, By Michael McLean, but it was orginally was a story book that included sheet music for the forgotten carols to be played on the piano as the story was read and a tape with the songs recorded. The tape could be played at the point the song is placed in the book(for those who can't play music)

I love this song and the pictures were great! I think it would be better without the current beginning you have. The spirit of the song would be better gained if the beginning were more alike to the song.
