@Maxantium I think that many folks are unaware of this, and yet we still have people writing about it to keep them abreast. Funny though a lot of us "Black" Hispanics do embrace their African heritage. Look at Santeria, they are the first to tell you of the African roots, Capeoira another from African roots also, Afrocuban music. AFRO being the first word so don't say we don't want to embrace our African roots. More then some of you we know about slavery and continue to do so today.

People in latin america are all different colors from European Argentinos to the African Dominicanos to the Indigenous of Mexico. Plus the mixes of mestizo (euro/indigenous), zambo (afro/indigenous), and mulatto (euro/afro). Americans have an interesting way in determining race that I think is very ignorant.
