  • Ron Paul 2012!

  • Oh, this is SO for the win

  • come on everyone, let's be friends.

  • Ron Paul supporters are worthless trash.

  • @Bueller007 .. Maybe... but we know which way is up

  • hitting unsubscribe...now

  • THE

    YOUNG

    GORES

  • where are the statements from these artists saying that these posts are fake? just saying... he said/she said dont hold much weight. it almost sounds like it could be true. true or not, we need a patriot in office not a dictator. VOTE RON PAUL!!!

  • I'm tired of the media putting people into groups for their propaganda bullshit, i.e. "Ron Paul supporters". We are not a collective, we are individuals.

  • @RonPaulFTW2012 .. Yup.. and not bought ...

  • funny that tyt will take any opportunity to take pot shots at the TSA, except when Ron Paul's son gets detained by them for not submitting tyt blacks out the story.

  • @ZKoftherebellion It's a non-story. The jackass wanted special permission to bypass security and didn't go through the check like all other passengers. If anything they should have covered that part of it, that he expects special treatment.

  • fair.

  • You've got to understand that Ron Paul supporters are also desperate. This isn't like Obama supporters, who were as passionate as Ron Paul supporters in 2008, because the media loved Obama, he didn't need any publicity. Ron Paul supporters see the corruption in the media, and are desperate to spread the word anyway they can, even if it means getting them into legal trouble. That's what I think is going on, Ron Paul supporters are just so, so, so frustrated with the mainstream media, that's all.

  • very true

  • Here we go again.. Ron Pauls fault again or what? Just like with the newsletter? lol

  • @ohedd No, your fault. You and your ilk, watch the video before making a stupid fucking comment you cunt.

  • @CraigMetalHead I came to the very conclusion through watching the video -.- What's with you pro-corporatists.. So militant.

  • @ohedd Blatantly lying... see? Thats why my comment is right and you are a stupid fucking cunt.

  • @CraigMetalHead What are you even talking about? I just said this situation is the same as the one concerning the newsletter - you can never hold one man responsible for what people around him does. Especially not a public figure like Dr Paul. What's with the sudden and unprovoked unease?

  • All's fair in love and WAR. If the system doesn't play fair, go outside the system. It's just logic

  • Why is she hating on Ron Paul for his supporters? At least Cenk is justly hating on the supporters. As a Ron Paul supporter, I hate half of the other ones.

  • Well ana would you like to tell us who you would endorse cuz if its Mitt, Newt or Rick im unsubed

  • That's certainly an odd group of people to hack. In any event, this isn't a good choice by the supporters. It only will create extra controversy, and Ron Paul himself will end up getting blamed. If you truly support him, make sure not to mess up his image with such miniscule none-sense. He already has to waste time talking about those Newsletters he didn't even write, don't make him stray further away from the real issues to have to talk about this shit.

  • Ron Paul 2012.!

  • I have no beef with Ron Paul (he's easily the "only sane man" in the GOP running), but roughly one out of ten of his supporters are complete asshats; I wouldn't be surprised at all if one was fucking with your shit.

  • The people that follow Ron Paul remind me of the people that followed Obama.

    Their annoying as fuck.

Every TYT video that is done on Ron Paul always has numerous dislikes.

If you think a new President is going to solve all your problems your DUMB.

Ron Pauls talking a lot now but the whole story changes once he gets in the White House and see how fucked the system is.

People need to stop being followers and start being leaders.

  • Awl man Ron Paul supporters...don't do this shit, makes the rest of us look bad.

  • And yet many of them get frustrated at the term "Paulbot"... Don't get me wrong I'm well aware that term isn't accurate concerning most Ron Paul supporters, but I swear some people really do deserve to be called that.

  • i make ana excited yeah

  • Jesus was considered an extremist.

  • Crazy to even out the unfair fight against ron paul? Meh. Some times you need to do extreme things to fix your country.

  • Ron Paul isn't Crazy, but his supporters are.

  • Lol forgive Ron Paul supporters for supporting the only logical choice in the presidential elections, your choices are Ron Paul or a continued path unto Fascism, wheter you agree with him on everything or only a few things, one thing is for sure, he is the only person who truely wants and will bring change and take america on the right path that was strayed off of.

  • @Cryptlord9999 Lol I forgive you for getting caught up in the Paul Mania, but that is simply not true. Look into Buddy Roemer or Candidate of the Justice Party Rocky Anderson. And no, I don't think I will settle for less for the most important position of power in the free world. This isn't a popularity contest, this is the United States. Why the hell should i be forced to choose between a polished turd and a regular old turd.

  • @Cryptlord9999 u all sound like pre-programmed insanity and fuck you also for suggesting there's no alternative to political puppetry. You are part of the problem hindering the solution; nobody left to vote for 2012.

  • @Cryptlord9999 Which is a lot like what they said about Obama. I find it helps to judge a candidate by his supporters, and with Ron Paul supporters what I see is zealots and liars. You don't seem to tolerate any criticism or scrutiny of Ron Paul, and even when hackers do this in his name you ignore and deflect. You're all wrapped up in the same messiah like worship and blind faith that surrounded Obama in 2008, which I fell for. Well not again.

  • @Cryptlord9999 Yeah...see...when you make it blatently obvious that you yourself are a Ron Paul supporter without just coming out and saying it, you lose my forgiveness. ...Unless you are being a Poe...so I guess it's not "blatently obvious" after all. If you are a Poe, well played! (I suspect Poe because how can you say "whether you agree with him...on only a few things" followed by "he is the only person who..will...take america on the right path. If I only agree on a few things, I'm not...

  • @Cryptlord9999 ...going to believe he's going to take us on the "right path.") So, if you are not a Poe, you are an idiot for suggesting such a non sequiter. On that, I do only agree with Paul on a few things. Even as bad as I think Obama is, he's the lesser of two evils in my opinion.

  • @TheMidwestAtheist Lesser of two evils? Tell that to all the dead soldiers, everyone who lost their homes from banker greed, everyone who died or went bankrupt because there's no competition in the health industry, and all the civil liberties we've lost. We've had the same president for the past decade. Stop voting for the establishment.

  • @Cryptlord9999 Supporting Ron Paul is one thing but using these insidious methods to gain support is wrong. Leave it to the national media outlets to use these methods of distorting reality and lying because if you follow the same path you're no better than the those you claim to be against. The only sure way to combat lies is with truth, not more lies. If Ron Paul supporters continue in this fashion will ultimately backfire, and I don't want to see that. I like Ron Paul.

  • @Erilis666 Would you punish someone for his supporters? What makes you think other people would? I'm not sure it would impact him negatively. It will probably just piss off the Obamabots and get people to talk about him.

  • @Cryptlord9999 stop making ron paul look bad.

  • Vote up if youtube should ban all the PAULBOTS!

  • @sphonglanator Go away.

  • @OldManNipples No lol. PaulBots are like hired trolls. The hangout around infowars and prisonplanet but now they are invading the internet! Get them out!

  • It is amazing that there are so many people that don't know anything about Ron Paul and never listen to what he has to say. They like to just get their infomation from the republicans and democrats.

  • Comment removed

  • Im so disappointed about this because I am a supporter of Ron Paul :( Thank you for the fair coverage Cenk!

  • Ron Paul must be embarrassed by these fucktards. Guys, please don't characterize Paul's supporters by idiots like these. Unlike the moron hackers and Hangshai, there are those of us that can take criticism and have a debate without getting diarrhea of the mouth about "MSM bullshit" and crazy conspiracy theories. Unfortunately, though, the people that make the news are always the crazies...

  • You*

  • Tyt shame on yoy. I'm done w u now

  • @Beantownpierce34 Your entire sentence is a grammatical error.

  • TYT looks like it has morphed in the liberal Fox news. I guess TYT doesn't respect their viewers.

  • @Zooni2

If you want a new channel to cater to you, then it isn't a news channel. What you're saying is incredibly hypocritical and stupid.

  • Is it Ron Paul or Mitt Romney trying to make the Ron Paul group look bad.

  • You guys are starting to suck REALLY hard, man... But what do expect when you start hanging out with a TOTAL FRAUD like Al Gore. The way Cenk kisses his ass whenever they're on camera together is disgusting...

  • So at the beginning of this report, you asshats blame Ron Paul specifically for the hacking and the 200/600 times thing, but then at the end you admit that he wasn't associated with the hacking, and he was a little over on the record sales number, but, still factually correct, sales increased. So what was the point of this report, other than to bash Ron Paul? NOTHING. This is one of the MANY reasons Im becoming disillusioned with TYT. Just more MSM bullshit, as far as Im concerned.

  • @Hangshai You're an idiot. When did they blame Ron Paul for the hacking? You're being "disillusioned" because they're not kissing his ass like you want them to.

  • @hippiechickie18 The very first sentence that Ana says is "It turns out Ron Paul supporters are hacking celebrity twitter accts...", then, later on in the clip, they both admit they dont know if its supporters or not. So, while I admire your formidable reasoning and debate skills which boil down to calling me names, I still stand by my original statement. Either you didnt watch the video, or you didnt pay attention. Dumb ass.

  • @Hangshai You claimed that they said Ron Paul HIMSELF, genius. Direct quote: "you asshats blame Ron Paul specifically for the hacking" then you turn around and admit that they said Ron Paul SUPPORTERS. There really is nothing to debate, so no need to admire my "formidable" reasoning skills, although you may want to schedule a visit to a neurologist, as it appears you have short term memory loss. Furthermore, if you criticize me for calling you names, then do the same, what does that make you?

  • @hippiechickie18 burritos!

  • I agree these accounts were hacked but I don't think we should make a conclusive statement as to the person responsible being labeled as a Ron Paul supporter without further evidence suggesting such. It could have easily been someone trying to discredit his campaign. If you are smart enough to hack into an account, you are smart enough to know eventually it will be taken down and the people who were hacked would post saying they were hacked which makes whatever was connected to the hack look bad

  • @MattResponds Aye, good point...

  • So.. No on Ron Paul.. then what? Obama? Romney? The same ol' shit?

  • @brokenbeekerman Yes, thats what these asshats would have you do. Vote for Obama, because he'll save the supreme court!! Effing ridiculous.

  • Haven't you ever noticed that when Ron Paul is covered Negatively by TYT the like bar easily has at least a quarter dislikes compared to every other video on the channel barely has 50 dislikes.

  • I'm RACIST for criticizing Obama.

TERRORIST because I'm not with Bush.

ANTISEMITIC for not supporting Rothechild Zionism.

    TEABAGGER for supporting the Constitution.

    TRUTH-ER for asking unanswered questions.

TRAITOR for whistle-blowing on my corrupt Government.

CONSPIRACY THEORIST for presenting documented facts.

TROLL for uploading news, videos, quotes and U.S.Atrocities.

ANTI-AMERICAN for supporting Constitutionalists like Dr. Ron Paul.

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • @WeThePeopleVStheNWO Well I'd like to call you an ever day hero, and a great Amercian

  • They're or overzealous, it's just that many of them are delusional conspirational nuts, and for them, the goal justifies the means.

  • That's the Paultards for you

  • I kept watching this video because I thought, "Any moment now Ana is going to take off her top," and she never did. So, now I have egg on my face.

  • the reason college students are voting for this guy is because they're educated. they're taking economics classes and realising holy shit! we cant keep spending more and more on pointless wars that we shouldnt be in! and thats what we'll get with every other candidate. vote Ron Paul, yes i agree some of his economic policies are extreme, but you NEED extreme ideas to get ANYTHING done at all about it in the senate

  • anyone waiting to decide how they feel about an election until NO DOUBT (or anyone else, no offense to them!) tweets about it is the real idiot. i choose no war with Iran. sorry Obama!

  • @Daneoid81 RP supports pot legalization, opposes both the iraq and afghanistan wars, supports wikileaks, returns his congressional salary to the treasury, predicted the 2008 housing bubble in 2003,1999, and 2007, opposes SOPA, and voted against TARP. When you have a record like that, I would not care if you were so fundamentalist that you supported stoning gays. The accusations that RP is a racist fail when you see that RP opposes the war on drugs. Crawl back into your moms basement, idiot.

  • @Daneoid81 Hey fascist, RP does want to tie our country's currency to gold. We want a stable dollar and a high national savings rate. I also thought you libs were against wall street. I guess this does not apply to monetary policy, as you seem to support central banks having the ability to create unlimited credit to loan to banks at artificially low interest rates, which creates malinvestment and therefore economic-booms and busts.

  • I reckon this hack was orchestrated by his enemies

  • Paul Freaks are the most ignorant , hypocritical and annoying people in human history. It's scary how dumb some of our children really are ! lol

  • @tr2899 ur ignorant u dont understand liberty

u dont understand inflation, federal reserve, council of foreign relations

u think more govt is the solution to every problem. u actually believe america has 2 parties , naive fool

  • @naym2011 I don't huh ... Let me ask you a question. If Libertarians are true constitutionalists like they claim. How come they are so anti constitution ? What i mean by that is, our founding fathers were great men. Not because they were better then any one else. They were great men because they knew they didn't know every thing. They knew they could not predict all of the future problems & needs of the American people. So they wrote the constitution in a way so it could be changed.

  • @TheYoungTurks its ironic that half you're subscribers are ron paul supporters...notice how every time you slander him you get a lot of dislikes on your videos.

  • @wetwillyoffilly alot of TYT stuff is libertarian about police brutality and corporate welfare stuff ron paul supporters are against

  • You inconsistent ron paulbots are only doing yourselves a disservice, stop hugging his nuts and be critical f+or once in your life. I can name a flaw, hell, hundreds of flaws on nearly every politician in the white house. Ron Paul is NO EXCEPTION. The man thinks the separation of church and state is unacceptable. Grow up, you're falling for the same panacea shtick that Obama would have you believe. GO hit the streets, think for yourselves, and make local change.

  • @drpeppa2357

    and the alternative is.. ?

  • @then33k4 I'd look into Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party. Though at this point...the balls too far down the road.

  • @drpeppa2357 He's still much better than the other republican mobsters who're running.

  • @TradingTutor Yea. A polished turd is cleaner than a regular old turd. But still....the choices aren't flattering. None of them.

  • @drpeppa2357 Obama and Ron Paul are ok imo, the biggest problem are the republicans in congress and the lobbies, who continue to drive USA down the drain. Republicans want to give more power to corporations, and the lobbies push laws and politicians to their side.

  • Comment removed

  • @drpeppa2357 Ron Paul thinks separation of church and state is unacceptable? Is that a fucking joke? Get your facts straight

  • Tiny URL Code:38ncxb

"The tired assertion of a separation of church and state has no historical or constitutional basis," Paul continued. I shit you not.

  • @drpeppa2357 He's referring to modern interpretation which talks about a broad and vague separation of church and state. When Jefferson first said the phrase, he referred to a literal separation between a church and state so that the U.S. wouldn't have something like the Anglican Church. The Constitution is very specific- "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment" or "prohibiting the free exercise" That doesn't stop public officials from being influenced by religion.

  • @drpeppa2357 Can I give you an internet high five? You deserve an internet high five.

  • I like Ron Paul, but many of his supporters have problems.

  • criticize Ron Paul in any shape or manner whatsoever: THIS IS THE WORST JOURNALISM IN HISTORY!!! WAY TO TURN INTO FOX NEWS! PAUL CAN DO NO WRONG! (other then the fact that he doesn't believe in the separation of church and state, has an economic plan that would send the United States back 400 years and is pro-life) PAUL IS GOD!!!!

  • im 15 i always wonder if there is anybody who is around my age who watches tyt

  • I've been active in politics since 7th grade! I'm fucking amazing!

  • Rise Against huh? Like Smashing Pumps, or Metallic, or Led Zepp ? What kinda cheesy name rippin shit is that? I'm glad they got hacked :P

  • So we know 10000% these were Ron Paul supporters? So im going to hack some twitters and put out pro-Mitt Romney tweets... even thought I don't support Mitt... but hey the tweets will prove i support Mitt.

    you fucking morons.

  • yeah we actually do. so that puts your half baked theory to rest :D :D :D

  • The tea party crowd are VERY unpleasant - contrary to all the cosmetic superficial appeals to 'freedom'. I am so angry these people are being treated as honest brokers when the policies Paul is advocating (except for war) will completely fuck up the country and I mean REALLY REALLY fuck it up. Go google 'The Authoritarians' for 4 DECADES of SCIENTIFIC research on the mentality of the people that surround Paul - it's VERY unpleasant...

  • Ana Votes for Obama= Erasing Habeas Corpus & Posse Comitatus, No Economy & Jobs, Expanded Failed Drug War, Mercenaries, Funding Terrorism & Al-Qaeda, Private Prisons, Increased Pentagon Budget by Trillions, CIA killing Americans, Lobbyists Own Washington, Deregulations by Sunstein, Oil Spill CoverUp, No Poverty Reduction, No Fed Reserve Audits, No Bush Investigations, Oil Speculation & Drilling, Corporate Subsidies, Environment Destruction, Obamas Lawlessness, No Electoral Reform, Corrupt System

  • @halcyon0830 And its like this BECAUSE OF THE LIBERTARIAN REVOLUTION! Obama is shit the GOP are shitter and libertarians are the shitest of all... That's what American democracy has been reduced to BECAUSE OF THE LIBERTARIANS...

  • @StunnedByStupidity I would argue it is those that pose as libertarians, democrats, and republicans who talked the talk but walked in the opposite direction first chance the got.

  • I've been a long time ron Paul supporter. But it only takes one douche bag who thinks they are helping things by doing something wrong to give all of us a bad name. Oh and btw. TyT thank u for putting.g on good solid journalism. We may not agree on everything. But at least I can watch wo wanting to choke somebody

  • @espinosaw80602 Agreed!

  • Despite I agree with Ron Paul on most issues, and admire his honesty, a singificant part of his suporters have begun to worship him like a god-like figure in the same way that some of the worst dictators in the world were, like Pol Pot. There is no need to tell that this is very dangerous.

  • @onpoc Phil has some of those crazy supporters too. Put a decent person on TV, your going to have some crazy hero worshipers.

  • @wizzrobe301 You're the one plugging up your ears. I wasn't addressing the hacker story, which is fair and should be reported. What I said was that cenk was name calling, "cranky old man". Ron Paul makes mistakes and I'm not just over it, I never got started. Cenk exempted Ron Paul as a serious candidate by trying to make him sound like he's just cranky. Cenk can be a democrat sucking on the GOP status quo tit or a man, it's up to him.

  • it's so funny, Cenk's like, "they attack us even when we slightly criticize Ron Paul,"

    i scroll down: 797 likes, 249 dislikes :D

  • @Then there are Ron Paul supporters like me who actually like TYT and appreciate their opposing views and dialog.

  • @Jacobsbrew oh well thank goodness for people like you

  • @Jacobsbrew Yup, I am subscribed because I believe although Cenk is biased, I will get more of the truth here than anywhere else, save The Daily Show of course!

  • They should use Ron Paul as a diagnostic tool to filter out the microbrains.

  • RON PAUL FOR retirement 2012

  • @Eliand100 lol

  • @Eliand100 LMAO get ready for a thousand comments from ronbots bitching and moaning

  • 2:01 "The fact that they're politically active gets me excited."

Hey Ana, did I ever mention how politically active I am?

  • @9992103 lol

  • I think we're almost on the same page. I completely agree with everything you've said. My point is that it's the corporate influence that's causing the problem. I don't think govt is necessarily a bad thing. When corps are given personhood and control the politicians it is a bad thing. The ability to print money is ok as long as the govt doing it isn't controlled by industry and acts responsibly. A strong govt by and for the people should exist to provide services and keep corps in check.

  • You've got extremists in all camps. Are all republicans retards? Are all liberals yellow bellied ass kissers? As I recall, wasn't there an issue with the Wolf-PAC vandalizing private property not too long ago? "Wolf-PAC supporters are vandals." generalizes the group as you have done with Ron Paul supporters. Whoever hacked into twitter was wrong for doing it and are not stereotypical Ron Paul supporters. Shouldn't we blame No Doubt for not having better passwords though? Come on.

  • @SagaciousRex I don't think people are generalizing ron paul supporters, just that a fraction of them are overzealous, so much that they hack celebrities' twitter accounts to get their message across, come on guys take it down a notch.

  • @SagaciousRex Ron Paul supporters are simple minded morons, that's a fact. You're just too fucking dumb to understand reality, that's why you're a ron paul supporter. It's like trying to explain gravity to a brick.

  • @nilbud Twitt Romney supporters are simple minded morns, that's a fact. You're just too fucking dumb to understand reality, that's why you're a Twitt Obamnie supporter. It's like trying to explain gravity to a brick.

  • @noado51 Your assumptions are as retarded as expected. Keep copying the words of your betters it's your only hope.

  • Whether or not it was Ron Paul supporters who did this is questionable. There are a lot of people out there who are just trying to ruin his name. It could have very easily been someone who doesn't like Ron Paul trying to make him look bad.

  • @Spik3d92 maybe it was Ron Paul trying to make it look like someone is trying to ruin his name, or maybe someone trying to make it look like Ron Paul is making it look like like someone is trying to ruin his name…

  • Im being so serious right now, i would greatly appreciate it if anyone who is a Paul hater to give me some reasons why hes not electable, or why you despise the guy..

  • @joeynyc321 I'm a Ron Paul supporter. My theory as to why Ron Paul is disliked is as follows: Large numbers of voters follow the wars like they follow their favorite teams and enjoy the "Victories" Romans did this too. These same people don't understand LIBERTY they would rather support a police state. Many people chose to limit the rights of others in the name of ORDER. Fear motivates them and they believe America is under attack when it clearly is not. Most don't know or care about the FED.

  • @noado51 I'm aussie so i have no political bias, I would not vote for RP becasue he does not accept evolution, that alone is enough to confirm him as a religious nutbag. He wants to tie your dollar to a finite resource i.e gold. and wants to employ a 'sanctity of life' act that makes abortion illegal country wide. Does not believe in seperation of church and state. You guys have lowered your standards this much?

  • @Daneoid81 Apart from this debate and I'm not a bible thumper either. The Theory of evolution was pronunced as being impossible last year?It had something to do with tiny one celled creatures unable to create a second tail on their own. There is very little proof otherwise as welll. It is still a theory. Something else is at play and noone knows what yet. Animals may have been introduced to this planet from somewhere else.Fossil records show that they simply appear. Ron Paul is not stupid.

  • @Daneoid81 Many states are about to make abortion much harder.I believe he's in line with public opinion.Allowing the uncontrolled printing of dollars 26.6 trillion since 2008 is going to sink America. America's debt was 200 billion in 2000 and now stands at 16 trillion and rising at 1.5 trillion per year. Ron Paul is not lowering standards. He's a great American trying to save a country which has gone insane with war and debt.

  • @Daneoid81 Are you really that ignorant of Ron Paul, and believe what you just said, or are you a troll?

As for not having political bias because you're an Aussie... bahahahahaa

  • @Daneoid81 A whole lot of Aussies support Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is the only one who supports ending the WARS, RESTORING OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES & ENDING/AUDITING THE FED.

All of those you mentioned are irrelevant because Paul would leave those issues for the states to decide, not to the federal level...

  • @Daneoid81 I guess australians should not comment US politics look we dont touch your politics why you go for ron paul or obama or against american religious traditions thats stupid

  • @Agentyra895 Look mate Australians show a lot of interest in foreign affairs and politics because whether you realise this or not US policy effects much of the western world. The US is one of our closest allies so who is in-charge is important maybe you should show more interest in whats happening in the world rather than sitting in a bubble.

  • @MoMember88 what any us president can do to you? raise your taxes? ban gay marriage? ban abortion? i dont understand what my president can make to any other country, well outside NAFTA lol and australia isnt one inside

  • @Agentyra895 And you totally miss the point. Americas foreign policy effects much of the world so see how as we have Australian troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and many other nations don't you see how following the politics of other nations is important. Not just that but their stance on trade effects a resource rich nation such as Australia too maybe instead of staying in your bubble reaslise how as the no 1 super power in the world every thing has a flow on effect.

  • @Daneoid81 Are you me?

  • @Daneoid81 just because ur a fucking aussie does not mean u have no bias, u are still a progressive

and evolution is a theory , and its a belief, obama does not believe in evolution, yet u support him

and tieing dollar to a finite resource is not a problem, u dont understand economics..60% of value of savings wiped out u prefer that ?

church has nothing to do with protecting life, its a moral issue cuts across all religion - just coz baby in -1 day old does not mean u can kill it

  • @Daneoid81 Ron Paul policy is to have competing policies

their is a difference between his manifesto and what he would see as ideal if the public wanted it, but what he is running on his different

  • @Daneoid81 are you fucking kidding me? you are to stupid to reason with but ill try. 1. every gop candidate supports anti abortion 2. he's a religious nutbag?! name one thing he's said to make you think that, or are you just pulling conhjectures from your ass 3. a dollar with something backing it like gold? phhh how stupid! dont kid your self you know nothing about economics. the only reason the dollar is so powerful is because it was backed by gold.it prevents hyper inflation that makes us poor

  • @Daneoid81 first of all, all our candidates are religious nutbags, and it's an irrelevant issue in the first place. He is not against abortion, he believes it should be left to the states. And he doesn't believe in the constitutional basis of separation of church and state, which is a lot different from not believing in separation of church and state entirely.

  • @Houshalter Surely you guys have more than two parties? Why not vote for the greens? they tend to have all the good poicies that ron paul has without the stupid ones. They were nothing here 20-30 years ago, now they control half the senate. Leaving abortion to the states just menas that women will have to travel to other states to get abortions, then the states that is illigal in will make it illegal for women to do that. Why should the rights of 50% of the pop be left to the states?

  • @Daneoid81 what stupid policies? And we have a two party system so third parties aren't likely to get more then 0.5% of the vote in the next century or two anyways.

The federal government is a double edged sword. If you give it power over some issues then it's just as likely to be against your position. At least leaving it up to the states let's individual populations of people decide for themselves. I'm not a fan of democracy, but it's better than an all powerful central gov.

  • @Houshalter #1 Bad policy, the gold standard, tying the economy by the value of a finite resource? We set the value of gold on what our perception of it's value is, we do the same for the dollar. It might as well be the tin standard, or the canned corn standard.

#2 Letting states decide on the rights of Half the population. That is unacceptable. google 'ron paul sanctity of life' act.

#3 He believes social security is unconstitutional, wants it to be by choice, which is pointless con

  • @Daneoid81 the gold standard protects against inflation by money printing, which is essentially a hidden tax on the economy, and one very prone to corruption at that. It also means currency has real world value as opposed to pieces of paper that only have value because you are required by law to use them to trade and pay taxes. Ideally we could have competing currencies with no government interference, but the gold standard is a good first step.

    (cont...)

  • (...cont) I agree that letting states decide on rights is unacceptable, but it is equally or moreso unacceptable that the a central government do the same thing.

Social security IS unconstitutional, and it would work fine as a voluntary system because you aren't supposed to receive more than you pay into. (cont2...)

  • (...cont2)

Medicare/medicade drive up the price of healthcare for everyone else because no one in those programs has any incentive to seek lower prices. Also, besides the immorality of it redistributing wealth, it's just impractical. If you are going to give "free" services to people, then why not just give them the money and let them decide where to spend it, rather then have politicians mandate what services they get?

RP has never supported anti-sodomy laws as far as I know.

  • @Houshalter #3 which is pointless as the social security system requires more people to pay in than will actually recieve benefits.

#4 wants to abolish medicare/medicade. We have had state funded health care for as long as I can remember here. it works fine, we'er not socialists either.

#5 Personaly supports anti-sodomy laws . Wants to let states decide on what you do in your bedroom between 2 consenting adults. This is your 'freedom' candidate?

  • @Houshalter . I totally undersand that running for presedent in the states is very, very fund dependant. I could see how it would take a a lot longer. for a smaler candidate to succeed against two major parties, which reminds me, Paul opposes legislation limiting the amount of money individuals, corporations, and organizations can give to candidates. Now aint that something.

  • @noado51 Well put, my theory has always been that people just want to be different and feel like they are above Paul supporters..even though they are clearly wrong. Thanks for the input and keep the revolution going. Ron Paul 2012.

  • @joeynyc321 I don't believe much in federalism, on some issues I am not a libertarian, e.g. the private industry should not feast on negatives like people going to prison, becoming sick, …

  • @joeynyc321 It's the childishness of your silly question that amuses me the most. Your dunces world of hate and love and your sulky stupidity are why.
