Fox lets the other side have a voice too on the network.

@akallstar5 MSNBC and CNN deliberatly distort conservative and/or Republican views. For years they've put up people like Pat and Bay Buchanan, Tom Tancredo, Lou Dobbs, Alan Keyes, Joe Scarborough, Kathleen Parker, and others as representative of mainstream Republican thought, while all of these people either hold very far right views or are very critical of today's Republican Party. Fox News is the only tv station providing a fair platform for mainstream conservative thought.

i miss alan colmes on hannity. fox should give colmes his own weeknight show. i watch o'reilly every night, and i like colmes on that segment. it would be nice to see alan as the host of his own show. i am interested in hearing fair debates, but nbc is just liberal and seem to mock and insult who disagrees with them. alan aint like that from what i've seen. i want to hear both sides, but both sides be civil, and i think that colmes could pull that off.

Fox always allows liberals to come on to combat their conservative views but they frequently are yelled over and have thier mikes cut off. The illusion of fair and balanced is done the same way professional wrestling is done. The outcome of the argument is predetermined. Fox long ago gave up responsible journalism in favor of conservative talking points. I'm not even liberal but Hannity embarrasses me with his overt extreme hyperpartisanship.

I am a fiscal conservative. I watch fox and get news from other sources sources as well. I was upset when they kicked Alan Colmes. I think Hannity got tired of being countered. He is a bully and I have very little respect for him, especially after the way he treated Ron Paul on his show.

This preamble would make sense if, and I repeat if FoxNews stated that their commentators were not conservative. The "Fair and Balanced" saying is in fact for their news portion of their channel. One would know this if one would spend 5 minutes watching FoxNews. Therefore the critique is based on either falsehoods or ignorance. Let the people decide.

If you look at moderates Chris Mathews had said that he "voted for Bush" and Dylan Ratigan seems pretty moderate also.
So still more then Fox has ever had.

How about you not read more into my statement than is actually there. Of course none of them have their own show. FOX caters to a conservative crowd. What I am saiyng is that the idea that no liberals come on FOX is asinine and is usually, but not always, believed by people who bash the network, but have never seen it. Sean Hannity owned Colmes the time he was there simply on conservative principles. Every time Hannity would mention Reagan, Colmes would shit his pants. Fox just stands out because really there the only news network that leans to the right. While the majority of Fox's commentators are conservative, the networks liberal journalists & regular contributors (Yes there are many liberals who work at Fox News) such as Juan Williams, Allen Colmes, or Bob Beckel provide the balance. Fox lets the other side have a voice too on the network.
