  • Why does he look like a burn victim? I just watched Grosse Pointe Blank btw..

    Fucking great movie.

Actually a fantastic fight scene for a black comedy too

  • LiuJin this is one of my favorite vids from way back. Thanks for introducing me to Clutch also!

  • The band is Clutch, I think it is El Jefe Speaks, the album is Transnational Speedway league.

  • song name?

  • Бенни рулит!

  • bruce would kick his arse

  • 3:20.. :)

  • 200 pro fights and 200 wins :O

    i am more than impressed...

  • Well unlike rush1er, I like this song. Very early 1990s Alternate Rock.

  • I liked this video #666!!! Great montage!

  • is he true he only fought in one full contact striking event (i.e., muay thai) and lost?

  • @nomilkforsanta no, not true. He fought under muay thai rules and lost, went away and learnt to thai kick and block, came back and did well. He'd already won a whole load of full contact rules fights before that. I put him above Bill Wallace.

  • не разу не проиграл в профи боях.

  • Gone were the days of fights like this one and others. Awesome clip! MMA is boring.

  • What is this background music you're using for this video? It's perfect, and I dig it.

  • gr8 song!

  • Hammer fighters have been a shame that his time was past, he'd have liked to seen one in action

  • INCREDIBLE RECORD!!! AWESOME!!!!

  • PIONIERE!

  • GREAT VIDEO. HORRIBLE SONG.

  • Worst. Music. Ever

  • benny is the best, legend

  • thankyou. i am a boxer and mix martial artis and really wanted to find a highlight vid of a legendary kickboxer outside of that over rated k1 bullshit.

  • Benny was very tallented and fun to watch at the end off his matches he would do back flips one hell off a martial artist!!!

  • He was the best!

  • Benny would whoop Bruce Lee.

  • Clutch - Binge and purge

  • whats the name of this song anyways? i like it :) fuck what other ppl say

  • @MichaelSoriano77 Clutch - Binge & Purge :)

  • i was high when i watched this....pretty trippy song lol badass though

  • omg what a song "come on mothafucka lets throwdown!" whats the song called?

  • @rohleks Clutch - Binge & Purge

  • 6:20 "...I'll make you wish that you never been born" hahahaahah perfect timing

  • for me benny still the best.

  • USA ! Fuck yeah!

  • @Fernzire Ireland! Fuck Yeah!

  • holy shit... 5:52 onwards... amazing stamina!

  • I read an interview with Benny 15 years ago where he said that the backhand punch (or what it is called) was useless and that he had tried it in a street fight. However, during UFC matches I have seen the backhand punch used with brutal effectivness. So Benny was wrong on that one...

  • @dannywizz The technique depends on the fighters ability in terms of effectiveness. There are no useless techniques. What one finds useless another finds effective and vice versa.

  • WOW, this song is so fucking awesome!

  • who would've won between the jet & superfoot wallace? I chose bill.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=JcewWVOswpg&feature=related

world champ for 27 years?? never lost ???USA champ more like it,Medias propaganda.

you see japanese kickboxing[diluted muaythai] matches

Everyone from USA is a world champ,sickening..

  • such flawless technique...would of loved to of seen a benny in his A day vs chug li

  • @rush1er - opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one, and most of them stink.

  • @LiuJin and my bad on me... I wrote that comment before hearing the break down @5:10. My presumption has caused me to look like an ass, cuz that shit ROCKED!!! And now I understand what you were conveying. The whole song fits nicely with the vid. Good job to you, and a stain on me.

  • @LiuJin thats a good saying but the song is still shit

  • @LiuJin I will use this terminology from now till eternity. Thank you.

  • @LiuJin I say that all the time

  • @LiuJin Your comment ROFL :lololol:

  • @rush1er that's funny because I think this song is fucking awesome and so do everyone I've played it to. It's on my gym CD too and I ain't getting any complaints when it comes on. See people tapping their feet to it between sets.

  • @rush1er

its the best song for this video hahaha

  • @rush1er

I think this song is great. I have it on my ipod now to train. It's begins dark and moody then gets you pumped up at the end!!

  • @rush1er wtf u talking about? this song kicks ass, especially to this video!

  • @rush1er It's not exactly Pavarotti, to be sure. But this is violence on display here, not millinery; if nothing else, the editing compliments the music.

  • @rush1er - I like the song. Learn more about stoner/punk music.

  • I get better scores at dota

  • 2:16-2:50 bet that pissed some Muay Thai fighters off seein that

  • OSU!

  • Benny The Jet"s professional fighting record stands at 200 plus wins and Zero (0) losses, his accomplished World Title Defense Record Stands at 63 wins and zero losses, with "57 knockouts

  • @lucasmoney2008 ehmm how comes i saw him losing twice on youtube, against thai fighters?

and why did he run away from dieselnoi

  • 63-1, my respects a the greates american kickboxer of all times, but in his travel to Thailand he lose with a muay thai boxer.

Same is incredible that only six fighters have ended the all rounds

  • I love the fight between Jackie Chan and Benny the Jet

  • @TheJaminBailey FUCK YEA! it´s very real! I´m sure both of them got their ass a bit kicked during that fight ! haha Skills!

  • Sorry Yamofaka but Benny is still a legend and a total badass. If you are so interested in bad mouthing him why don't you go take it up with him? Nahhhhhh just type shit about him on YouTube.

  • holy crap

    63-0

  • The song is clutch right

  • @jasonhydro The song is called "Binge and purge" and is made by "Clutch"

  • aha he trained john cusack

  • If only he had had the balls to fight some Thai's.

  • @yamofaka He was one of the first to fight thai fighters, do some research

  • @vega11374

He fought what, two Thai's during his career? He was raped by one and the other contest was a controversial NC.

  • @yamofaka You missed the point, he still fought them.

  • @vega11374

I don't consider fighting two Thai's as fighting the Thai's, where the bulk of talent is in the lighter weight classes.

  • show de bola

  • i get to meet this guy this january =)

  • @Tavarith you can meet him any day you want at his gym and even train with him if you like.

  • @Buuub08 ya but idk where his gym is and i doubt its anywhere near me =/

  • @Tavarith ow my bad man, his gym was closed in 2007. It used to be in northern LA if i recall it correctly.

So yeah, youre a lucky man to meet him then. Get an autograph for me, ok? lol

  • i think he just used onislash 5:49

  • The song is called 'Binge and Purge' by Clutch, from the album 'Transnational Speedway League' (1993).

Awesome video by the way, thanks for sharing it with us!

  • @FerroUK thank you

  • HOW IS THE SONG CALLED????.

  • How is the song called?

  • the song?

  • the song?

  • Benny the Jet did have one lost. And it was to a Thai Fighter. Look it up. Regardless, he's still the man

  • Bruce Lees student Leeroy Garcia was once asked if there was anyone alive who would have given Bruce a run for his money....Leeroy said only Benny the jet

  • @68bobba Lee's name shouldn't even be mentioned here. Benny (and many other genuine fighters) would have destroyed Lee in the ring.

  • @blackbeltste bullshit. . . . but maybe not, that's the beuty of it, everyone thinks they know but no one rarely does, one things for sure on the street, bruce, every time.

  • @MURKYDEEP100 every real fight Lee ever had, was on the street. and he lost them all. that's why he took up kung fu. after taking it up he never had a real fight again... these are the facts. Such a shame he isnt around now, and in his prime. He wouldnt be famous at all.

  • @blackbeltste hahahaha. . . what????!!! where do you get you're information?. . is it the voices in you're head bro? hahaha fuckin idiot, pick up a book.

  • Damn, if only there was K-1 at that time..

  • Hawaii 1975 the jet was caught in mid flying kick and thrown over the ropes.

  • Benny is a bad man... that's all there is to it.

  • magnificooo

  • This guy's my new hero

  • Don't take this joke too seriously, but its Benny Urgaynes

  • he's all right..i guess....hahahaha...jk...hes the man!

  • whats the title of the song?

  • @llullwllallkll binge and purge by clutch (or something like that).

  • damn Benny was a fuckin demon!!!! hellz yeah!! much respect to this man

  • Amazing martial artist, just unbelievable talent

  • i'm a TKD/Kickboxing stylist 20+years>before&now...Benny continues to inspire me.

He got evrything that make a legend>power, speed, style, looks, charisma etc.

    Forever Benny the Jet!!

  • WAY AWESOME!!!

  • Benny was a true warrior. He fights like Roberto Duran, never ending perpetual motion. Benny fought with 5 or 6 moves in his mind. At that time most did 2 or 3. So far as Bruce Lee he was a self defense master like a Krav Maga expert. Survival in a real fight was paramount in Lee's quest. Now, against Benny, Bruce would lose.

  • This guy is a beast. Jackie Chan chose him as a villain for a reason. Mad props go to the Jet.

  • Damn those side kicks will get ya'!

  • simply amazing 63-0 fight record in kick boxing, a sport dominated by thai in early times. benny is a true fighter. i rate the fight in meals on wheels with jackie chan is the best choreographed fight in movies. thanks for sharing this rare video

  • Though no intention to repeat the old statement, his so-called 63-0 record does not reflect the reality.

  • a true fighter. Chuck Norris is way overrated - Benny the Jet is way better

  • "a true fighter. Chuck Norris is way overrated - Benny the Jet is way better"

    .

Yeah, Benny at least made the transition from Karate to Kickboxing when it started up. Chuck basically retired right when Kickboxing evolved out of Karate. Benny was a pioneer and belongs among the ranks of Ali and Royce Gracie. Chuck Norris could have been as well, but he went on to fight in movies instead..

  • No one should take credits away from Norris. When the sport of full-contact kickboxing was started by PKA, Norris was too old to participate in it, and as a matter of fact, he even had already retired from the point fighting due to the fact it took longer time to heal the injuries. Norris fought in what was available to him at that time and proven himself as a great champion, unlike those who just talked the talk and never walked the walk like Bruce Lee.

  • @legkicker01 Honestly dude I totally agree with your comment. However, Chuck was around 30 at the time, so I would disagree that he was too old for anything. I just think he should have done it because he could have easily become a champ like Benny the Jet or Joe Lewis. Still, at least he actually competed, unlike Bruce Lee. And Karate tournaments back then were pretty brutal too. They were full contact with no protective equipment (at least until Karate was pussified in the 80's).

  • Well, I too agree with your comment, but regarding Norris, I have a different opinion. You are right about being around 30 is not too old for anything TODAY, but in those days, sports nutrition and supplements, diet, etc were nowhere near what we see today. In those days, Muhammad Ali was considered to be too old to win the title back in his 30s, but today fighters like Evander Holyfield has still been fighting thanks to the advanced sports science.

  • This video has shitty music

  • @zero70xx - What do you find to be "Good" music?

  • he is a beast.

  • Relentless never yielding unstoppable, punding chopping away beat your oponent as if you were a human blender. That is MY STYLE SHURI RYU!

  • Benny vs Bob Sapp would be the biggest match up since Mike Tyson vs Muhammad Ali.

  • A true legend and hero of mine. He will go down in history as the best that ever lived.

  • Benny would rule today's K1 if he still had his youth :))

  • Damn, it'd be awesome if Benny could somehow reverse his age and fight in K-1 today against stars like Buakaw and Souwer.

  • I'd really like to know who is singing the song on this vid

  • @sfreeman777 The song's name is Binge and Purge... played by Clutch.

Urquidez is a living legend. One of the best ever.

  • This man is a true warrior. Brilliant on film, brilliant in real life. i would take lessons from him anyday

  • @womblewandering he teaches

  • grande el JET... lo mejor

  • sensacional vídeo buenísimo! Benny un excelente luchador !!!!

  • when I look at him fighting I imagine he´s Bruce Lee... he looks like him and has a similar physique

  • Benny has many legendary feats and only part of them are on here. He is truly incredible as a fighter and human being!

  • my dad fought this guy in the 70s and to the best of my knowledge is the only person to not get KO'd by this guy while in his prime. they became good friends and benny came to some family parties/ weddings.

  • I love his attitude, willing to take on anyone without fear, what a beast.

  • A true machine! Back in his day of active competition, few, regardless of weight division, wanted any part of being on the receiving end of his determined spirit and immense appetite for destruction.

  • SUPER!!!

  • just..respect

  • the best¿¿ ...and Ramon Dekkers¿

  • I saw him the first time about 20 years ago; it never let me go and since then there`s a reason to training...

  • The Jet is coming to our school in Aus soon

    CANT WAIT

  • exactly what figth? kickboxing? are there karate videos from him?

  • the greatest of all time......too bad he never got bruce in the ring would have been a great fight

  • would have been a quick fights when Bruce got his ass knocked out lol

  • man. i wish this guy was in his prime now.... i'd love to see him in MMA

  • @itachicrasian2 he wouldnt be allowed in mma because hes too good LOL

  • true dat, hes so cool we got the samn last name!!!

  • @itachicrasian2 according to some early gracie students he sparred rorian and couldnt stop the clinch and takedown which isnt surprising since nobody crosstrained then.IF benny had come along now and started wrestling and submission he would have been a phenom in the cage with his tremendous fighting spirit,a real demon in the ring.

  • 5:55-6:25 straight up beasted him

  • @moreno685 lol yeh that was an onslaught, on a second viewing the jap guy did a really good job dodging the first few combos and put up a fight with a few attempted hooks but benny was just way to fkn fast

  • Ozzi

  • He was a freakishly skilled fighter, that's for sure. That judo throw was awesome too, you couldn't make it look any better than that.

  • @BlackVelvetStallion did judo throws count in a kickboxing match or was it a fight under special rules?

  • @mandikum

The throw was illegal in that particular fight, but Urquidez used it without realizing it because the throws were allowed in the US ( for both the PKA and WKA) back then. The fight was ruled as no-contest.

  • Full Respect to this man, he really deserves it. The jet.

  • I love the fighting scenes with Benny the jet and Jackie Chan on Dragon's Forever and Wheels on Meals. Also, when I was going for tournaments and learning self-defense my showed me a self defense video made by Benny the Jet and it helped.

  • he is awesome i know this because he is my great uncle.

  • I trained with Urquidez last friday he is great!

  • Benny...my all-time favorit>beauty,power,skill..charisma>all the ingredients of a star! Retro'Best!

  • Love the smile before Urquidez really whooped his butt.

  • the unique thing about benny is this: look at his fights and you see the ability to use his legs very close to how he uses his hands. an example would be, punch, punch, kick, punch, kick, sweep, punch. that ability and the cardio to do it "all night" is very hard to beat!!!

  • He has a monster jump spinning-back kick.

  • I actually 1st learned jump spinning back kick from reading his book!! It became my "killer move" since then.

  • its cung le, andy hug, badr hari and gomi rolled into one or somethin

  • who the fuck is singing this crap you suckkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • He had great symmetry of body, balance, grace, coordination. The surfer/skateboarder of martial arts, in effect, who will outskill you.

  • I'm not sure about 63-0 being accurate, though he was truly a great fighter. I think he also lost a bout to Billy Jackson or somebody w/ a similar name early in his career. Anyone w/ info on that bout.

  • Gotta love the Clutch song. For a while I was starting to think nobody had ever heard of them but me. XD

  • quote: (In the late 1970s Benny Fought against Prayoud Sittiboonlert of thailand in japan. sittiboonlert was not the current muay thai champion. nevertheless, he punished urquidez so bad that urquidez's cornermen threw in the towel at the end of round 2. Then ISKA ruled it as a no contest.

Im not hating. just today looked into it. This guy was obviously a great fighter. Anyone else have any info on this?

  • Mr. Urquidez indeed lost to then 5-th rated welterweight Prayout in 78 in Tokyo, but he went the distance despite the weight difference. For that he was offered a rematch, but did not show up in the day of the fight. The WKA neither sanctioned nor promoted the fight, thus it had no right to rule it as a no contest.
