@DeBuraInc01 i dont know too many names for scales ... the name is usually my last concern but the "variations" can be used to replicate his solo including hand placement .. i just use the pentatonic as a sort of starting point to a series of other scales that cover the entire neck but yet are still the same key or a related key of sorts ... so i may have been wrong to use "pentatonic" to describe this technique ... sorry for the misunderstanding .. the scales you said may be in there somewhere
