  • Ms Lady, first let me say that I enjoy watching your videos. You're extremely articulate and you go into depth with your subjects...and I appreciate that.

I was inspired by your determination to get your hair back on track after the fiasco with the sew in. I too, did crazy things to my hair before i started on my healthy hair journey. I had a patch of hair melt out of my scalp! I now know better! Thank you and keep up the great work!

  • the same products or with the same care just like the skin and the body the hair cam be sensitive and easily break or anything.....i love you girl keep doin what you do people need to know these things

  • women like you who have been through so much because of us hairstylist is why i'm doing what im doing now she is so right once you you've passed beauty school you have to go and do your own research because i've noticed that yes they do teach you the proper things in order to do people hair but you have to make them your own and thats when knowing your clients hair and the anatomy of the body comes into place everyones hair is not the same so you cannot treat every hair type and texture with

  • What a lot of people wont tell you is cacasion products work just as well if not better than african american products....

  • @TheNeptunePisces83 maa'm you are WRONG. Im not trying to be rude or anything but our hairr is different you know. it could work awsome on your hair, but you know different for someone elses.

you probably know that anyway but you get the point and stuff sorry i dont want to put you on the spot or anything,

  • thanks for your video. Very helpful. I completely agree with you on hairstylist. I have some bad experience with hairstylist

  • Can you tell me where you got the bottle with the comb for your castor oil?

  • why so many products? It seems like it would be more harmful than helpful. One product might cancel out the other

  • Okay after 3 minutes of watching you I am now ur new subbie, I love your videos :)

  • I agree with you 1000% about the beautician, they will do that, had an experience. She didn't bleach me, but the heifer was scissor happy and I had to start all over. My hair has grown back out now....Btw, I use the exact same products that you use on your hair:)!

  • I agree with you 1000% on the beautian...that's why I am my own stylist....

  • If you don't mind me asking, where did you buy that elasta qp Olive oil and mango butter moisturizer. It sounds like something I would like to try. Also, I wasn't to keen on trying the fructis product line but you make me wanna give it a try. I see it everytime I go to wal-mart but never thought it would do anything for my hair. Ohh, chile..looking at your videos, Imma end up being a product junkie..lol.

  • Thank you girl!

  • Hi Diamond, can you list your routine step by step and the products you use please? Appreciate it! I love your hair it looks like its on the way to good health. I need to get mine on track.

  • @fogfavour okay no problem I will try to post the video by WEDNESDAY (fingers crossed) lol

  • Diamond did you use a "no lye" relaxer? This is what I have learned..No lye relaxers are more sensitive to the scalp but harsher on the hair. They leave mineral deposits on the hair shaft. Which means it leaves the hair dry and brittle after weeks. Lye relaxers are harsher on the scalp but are better for the hair. And I didn't go to beauty school to learn that lol

  • : by me takinq care of my own hair my hair actually qrew alot lonqer & thicker & i self relax myself . thats crazy sum dont care for ur hair they'll mess ur hair up to keep u cominq to the salon & shit like u said for ur money . thats why i tell my mom when she qo brinq her own products cos the dominicans no affense where she qoes to they use silicones in her hair which isnt qood . but this video is so helpful :)

  • hii dyamond where did u get the bottle with the rake on it i would love to have 1

  • About to try organix shampoo b/c of your vid!

  • girl that triple nutrition nutrient spray is the BUSINESS...I LOVE IT....i sent my husband to wal-mart to get me 3 bottles!

  • your hair is BEAUTIFUL!

  • You said you deep condition for 45 mins to an hour. Is that with heat?

  • where did you purchase your castor oil ?

  • girl i just got out of cosmetology school last year and i know that half the shit some beauticians talk are lies. you right that some will do anything for the money. it's better when you straight up with your clients. it keeps them coming back. the same thing hapened to me with the aphogee too. with those product, you have to use them on and off to keep getting your results. i'm definately going to look into the garnier fructis products!

  • HEY HEY HEY NOW SISTA GIRL:) OK, NOW, I AM A LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST! AN IM SO PISSED OFF WHEN I GET NEW CLIENTS THAT DNT KNO ABOUT THEIR HAIR OR HOW THE MAINTAIN IT OR WHY THEIR HAIR IS IN THE SHAPE ITS IN AFTER GOING TO A SO CALLED BEAUTICIAN!? ITS RIDICULOUS! SHM! ITS SO EMBARRASSING! IT MAKES US ALL LOOK BAD! N I HAVE LOST CLIENTS DUE TO NOT RELAXING AND COLOR AT THE SAME TIME OR NOT LEAVING A RELAXER ON FOR ALONG PERIOD OF TIME! N IVE BN CALLD DUMB FOR BEING HONEST BY CO-WORKERS?

  • you betta PREACH honey!!

  • does the castor oil make your hair shed? I think it makes mine shed

  • Ok thank you. The two leave-ins that I use is the Aphogee and the Chi Keratin Mist. I alternate though. I was my hair once a week n cowash once a week. But I usually have a sew-in for 3weeks at a time. N then give my hair a 2week break. So I really do need a moisturizing leave-in. I was thinking about Cantu leave in. Have you tried that??

  • are there different types of the elasta qp leave in... or its just that one that you bought? (btw thanks.. i am going to do some research on it bc i have heard so many good things about it)

  • @ahurd85 The qp I have is actually a moisturizer but qp does have a leave in called h two O but it claims to a moisturizing leave in but the first ingredient is not water n sum of the ingredients are not good... But yes do more research and of course listen to ur hair!

  • Where did you buy the elasta qp?

  • @ahurd85 @ my local bss n I love it, it smells soooo dam good n it really moisturize my hair!!

  • @Mzblackwoman Oh hunnie tell me bout it cuz my hair was extremely dry I luv how it makes my hair feel silky str8!!

  • yo hair luk cute....I'm liking dat big ring on yo finger lol

  • @boogeeass Lol thanks!!

  • What color lipgloss are you wearing?

  • @keishiarenee Victoria secret mango

  • Girl this video is on point! Love your channel!

  • @FashionAbleHeart Thanks hun!!

  • I love that conditioner by Garnier, but the shampoo that goes with it not so much. Very good choices.

  • @Cierrapatrice93 I know right!! I was very suprise that it worked sooooo dam good on my hair lol!!

  • lol love how u keep it real dyamond.

  • GREAT VID!! KEEP THEM COMING!!

  • GIRL U LEFT YOUR SEW-IN FOR 6 MONTHS!!!....LOL.

  • @MsCaramelScorpio88 Gurl yesssss lmao I wanted my hair to grow so dam bad but now that I look back on those days I wonder y I didn't conduct my own personal research on growing hair instead of takin others advice!!! Wooooooh wut a long way I have came!!!

  • we use the same products lol if u where to look at my hair product video i just made yesterday u would see the garnier i love it too !! i love how that conditioner makes my hair feel like butter when i'm rinsing it out .. and i just went and got last night the elasta qp moisturizer loving it loving it lol i moisturized my hair with it for the first time to day and sealed with my olive oil i love the results .have u ever thought about using a egg mixed with olive oil as your protein treatment

  • @aujhanessexymom Um trying to decide on which oil is good to seal my ends with, coconut oil or olive??? I've heard and read great things about them both do u have any suggestions??

  • @SoFreshDyamond Well I have been told that olive oil , coconut oil , and grape seed oil are good oils to seal with they all work pretty good for me i love coconut oil it really keeps my hair moisturized and also grape seed ...

  • thanks so much for this vid!!! :) HHJ!!!

  • THAT S WHY I DO MY OWN.

  • @partylite09 Yea my ass had to learn the hard way [ ;-) ]

  • nice video =)

  • OMG you would so be my friend if i knew you lol...i love your videos!

  • @twuchick Lmao

  • OMG you would so be my friend if i knew you lol...i love you videos!

  • I totally agree, most cosmetologist don't know hair care, quite honestly most cosmetology schools do not even teach hair care. Me as a cosmetologist has made it a point to know hair care of all types, I would prefer for all of my clients to have healthy hair and keep them coming back than to have unhealthy hair and blame me for it, because in the end not matter what, the stylist is always at fault...I'm glad I am so different from the other stylist out there...loved this video....God bless!

  • @En2Hair Um glade to hear that u promote heathly hair and not jus out to collect funds!!! I honestly believe there are great cosmetologists out there n I wish I knew them but I've jus had horrible experence with the ones down here!!! Luv ur comment!!

  • Okay I think I will try this. I use Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves S&C for moisturizing. Now I did not care for the Sleek and Shine leave- in conditioner... it let my hair soft, but frizzy. However, I will definitely try the product mentioned at the beginning of the video.

  • @sbabwb My hair so dam crazy it only becomes frizzy n the summer...wut do u use for frizz control??

  • @SoFreshDyamond Sally's has GVP (Generic Value Products) Leave-in treatment- compared to Redken Extreme Anti- snap. I use it when I blow dry my hair and some times when I flat iron. It does the job to get rid of frizz and I like it because it gives me protection against the heat from the styling tools. It leaves my hair shiny and my ends looking so good. I also use Paul Mitchell's The Detangler for co washing.

  • @sbabwb Lmao u kno wut my momma uses that from sallys n she said it works for her too n I was suppose to look into it but 4 got....um bout to now tho!! Thanks

  • @SoFreshDyamond I started using the Anti- snap after I stopped using Aphogee. The only thing that my hair responded to was the Shampoo for Damaged Hair... every other Aphogee product my hair didn't like. I guess I am protein sensitive. Oh I forgot... I use coconut oil to moisturize my hair. I will coat my hair and let it sit for an hour... maybe the entire day if I am not going anywhere.
