I'm Korean and I'm glad that Korea has its own unique culture. It gives me a sense of belonging and patriotism. I live in Canada and I actually sometimes feel bad for Canadians because their culture is not as clearly defined as Korean culture. All of the great classical scholars in Islam say that if someone follows the Quran and Hadith literally then they are in danger, they will become very extreme in their beliefs and this is what our prophet Muhammad (PBUH) disliked, he said that we should keep a balance of everything and be moderate and use our wisdom.

I'm Korean and I'm glad that Korea has its own unique culture. It gives me a sense of belonging and patriotism. I live in Canada and I actually sometimes feel bad for Canadians because their culture is not as clearly defined as Korean culture. While it may be because Canada is only 141yrs old and it calls itself as a multicultural nation, British should have their deeply rooted culture and it would be so sad for British if they were to lose their sense of cultural identity.

As an American of European descent I can say that the English traditions and values have influenced the American values, and for that matter all English speaking countries. It is no coincidence that English speaking countries are societies that are fundamentally stable and modern. I can isolate the reason for that in one word, honor.
