in College..i was up all night waiting to get a request from a Radio Station in Pittsburgh that could "play any metal request"..now cuz i read so many good reviews in the guitar mags, yet could find no recorded song..the Dj was like "yes!..Of Course We Have it!..i was elated!..now 45 minutes later i hear "Firehouse's"..Dont Treat Me BAD!!" i was like in denial for like 45 minutes and i never got to hear or see a recording of Firehose for like 20 years LMFAO...
I saw them my freshman year at the Univ. of Alabama in either fall 1991, or early 1992. I don't remember any cussing or fighting going on. I talked to Mike Watt for a second. I asked him, "When's the last time you talked to Flea?" He said in his unmistakable voice, "Oh, a couple of weeks ago. He said he's gonna teach me how to play tuba." I just laughed and left him alone. I remember thinking, "Wow. I got to touch the inner bass circle for just a second. I was 18, cut me some slack.
I saw them in Lexington, KY and Cincy, also finished with A Quick One....Mike and George cussed each other openly between songs, thats just how it goes. Great artists have a lot of passion.
this show was so much fun, those boys were on fire!!!!

I saw them in Glasgow, Scotland in 1991 and they are without doubt the best band I have seen live. I would love to see them reform.

I seen em in Portland OR - They finished the show with the who's A Quick One. Seemed like ed and mike were fighting.
