  • he is such a beautiful horse and you are a fantastic trainer!!!!

  • Beautiful :')

  • It looked like you were doing join-up (I think that's what it's called) with Bhakti in that video... were you?

  • Those breeders didn't know how to handed Bhakti. You do (: AMAZING x

  • Where did he end up going after you were finished with him? :)

  • do you still have him?

  • You, girl, are an AMAZINGLY fantastic person! subbed :)

  • He he he,the song suits that horse so well =) so kookey!

    nice work.

  • awesome great job

  • Wow what an inspiration you are, you have done a fantastic job with this horse. My horse would buck off anyone that tried to ride him. He was grumpy and narky and had learned many tricks but he essentially had a heart of gold and wasn't nasty. I formed such a bond with him (didn't know anything about natural horsemanship at the time) that eventually he would whicker at me in the paddock & come over to me. We placed at many rodeos this year, and I feel so blessed to have been chosen by him. <3

  • Most people don't realize animals are only as smart as their owners. You have done a wonderful job with this horse. I think you have great form! Keep up the good work!

  • Amazing stuff.

  • @zavakuria

"Joining up" is the proper term for the portion of her free lunging when she gets the horse to follow her and "hook on," which has been practiced long before Parelli's term "Liberty" came along. Monty Roberts takes a caring approach with horses, for instance, I bet you didn't know he's the main reason slant load trailers are used today: he noticed when loaded in a stock trailer where a horse can orient itself as is most comfortable, horses situate themselves at a diagonal.

  • i use both parrelli and a bit of monty roberts when i get a horse ill do join up then heeps of parelli similar to you with the tarp that way i grow a bond then i start to break in i can usually break a horse in 3/4 days but i like to my time so i do it over a period of 3 months but thats with little bit of training as well

  • like this song

  • wow your an amazing trainer and rider ;0 you have great patience and understand the horses!

  • he's so beautiful!! You guys have come really far, I hope one day I can ride the "problem" horse I'm working with now!! :)

  • have u ever tried endurance rides with him? very pretty horse and im so glad they gave him to u ! excellent work=)

  • Just to let you know, the free lunging thing you are doing in the round pen in called "join up", it is a theory practiced and proven by Monty Roberts, not Parelli =) And by what I can see you are doing, the rest also looks like Liberty, yet again not a theory Parelli came up with.

  • @TopQualityRanching

The free lunging is still called Liberty. It's not "join up". It's part the portion of Parelli's program that is without ropes. Doing everything you do Online, just without the rope. You don't make the circling uncomfortable or pushed for the horse when circling at Liberty as Monty Roberts does.

  • This is amasing :D you have a beautiful horse and a beautiful relationship with him. Thanks for sharing. xx

  • Do you ever see him still? And how's red? I miss seeing his updates ): youre amazing hope Ted and moony Dee are good as well!!(:

  • wow its amazing what yous did together i love the join up id love to try that with a horse

  • Did i tell you how amazing you are? Well your just an amazing person. The way you bond with horses is just outstanding! The world needs more people like you. You should be very proud of what you do keep up the great work! :)

  • Is he gelded now? That would help his attitude!

  • This is so cute!

    His trot looks so float-ish.

And I love the clip at 2:37! Adorable! :)

  • The horse is never the problem! It's the handler, you give him patients and understanding they return it with trust and a willingness to follow your lead. I have an abused 6 year old paint no one could break, he now lets me lean/lay over him with out him moving around. This year I am hopeing he will let me ride him.

  • god bless you! you made my day! ^^

  • Good on you girl...it is all about you being patient insistent and consistent ..what real horsemen have always done ..Well done ..he is a credit to you and very handsome too !

  • wow! beautiful face

  • what happened to him? did you sell him?

  • Theres alot of people that say "oh ya i can do about anything and handle any kind of horse". they think they have some kind of gift. they dont. but honey, you do.

  • Keep up the great work. Parelli methods work like magic and you have a great spirit to hang on to a difficult horse.

  • awesome vid, i love to see you bonding to this very special horse.

Love your way of training him too.

mayby you can try to take some riding lessons with him so he will relax even more and so you can improve your posture.

  • I have a rescue and he was completely terrified of people when I got him. I worked with him mainly on groundwork for months, and finally began riding him, he is not young at all, somewhere between 11 and 13, but now he is the best horse I could ever have. Green horses will teach us all more than those "push button horses."

  • I'm just starting perelli with my youngster a highly srong and 'dangerous' horse and i do believe it will help him after many people have said he needs shooting

  • Comment removed

  • I hate the way people say that they will send a horse to the slaughter house just because it is dangerous or because they can't ride it. If they found NO way of dealing with the riding issues, the horse could be used as a pasture puff. that way it gets to live it's life as god intended, in it's heard in green grass.

  • Oh wow. The transformation is AMAZING! i had a mare that was very much like this. Un-trainable and difficult to ride. It is so amazing to see the transformation that he went threw. From the first clip of you mounting him to the last clip of you riding him at 3:50 amazing!!!

  • Awesome video... =) Well all your videos are awesome!!

    Do you still have Bhakti??

He is really a gorgeous horse and you have great bonds with all your horses!!

Keep up the good work... =)

    xxx

  • amazing! i knew this morgan/arab cross and he was sent to a horse trainer and this horse trainer said "this horse is untrainable and out of control!" and then when the man sold him and a lady i know took him in he was only about 5 or 6 years old and she did wonders with him. all she used was some patience and love and didnt use a whip and didnt yell at him. i just rode him the other day on a 5 trailride. the trainer didnt even recognize him at a show because he was so calm and well trained. ;)

  • Bhakti reminds me of an Arabian I knew and loved. Thanks for the video.

  • what is parelli??

  • He is such a beautiful horse!!! I love how you and the couple didn't give up on him just because he was difficult to handle! The world needs more horse lovers and riders like you, who will work with the "difficult" horses.

  • WOW !!!

This video is fanastic !! :)

  • hahaha thats so cute!! i love the music you used at the end XD isnt that from Robin Hood?

  • very cool

  • wow this horse is soo cute :) your amazing with horses i wish i was as good with horses as you are :) you did really well with him/her

  • I hate people that just write horses off as a hopeless cause and just sell them to slaughter. Thanks for working with him :)

  • Wow you work really well with him , i love your work:) xoxox

  • Beautiful. I loved this.

  • Bhukshine:Isnt it great feeling accomplished? Some trainers should listen to the young patient horse lovers and they might improve and advance their horses.Great video!

  • This is amazing and I think what you do is fantastic :) x x

  • Looks real good! I love those personality horses the best.

  • I'm so amazed. You and him have gone so far.

  • i'm glad that u got throught to him, good pics / vds two, hes lush and i'm glad he didn't go to slaughter that would have been a horrible wast

  • aww he's really gorgeous and you have a great bond. i bet those so called proffesional trainers feel really stupid that they couldn't break him in, but a teenager could! well done with him, hes truly gorgeous and you are great together. do u still have him? p.s. well done for saving his life!

  • Everyone wins here. Good job.

  • Do you still have him?? How many horses do u hav??

  • do you still lease him out or do u just have ted

  • beautiful horsee(:

u were doing join-up! i tried tht with one of my horses, its amazingg<3

    so is he yours??

how many horses do u have.?

  • aw how nice :) i wish i had a horse like that :) you really saved his life.

    5 stars!!

    xx

  • You saved his life! Well done :D He looks like a lovely ride after all the work you've done to help him :)

  • I am so happy that you showed them that with a little love and work any horse can be trained. They must feel pretty dumb that a teenager broke a horse they could not. Great job with him I hope you two have a long loving life togeather, nothing can come between a girl and her horse ;D

  • wow!! your so good with him..to just bring him for a bucking mad one to being able to ride him and doing all those things you did with him, when he followed you. He looked really funny doing the jumping!! lol :)

  • im so impressed well done your doing brilliantly wit him.

  • Wow, very impressed with what you have done with this horse...

  • I think he has made a fool of everyone too. You have done a great job with him, well done!!

  • Good work! Want two of mine? lol

  • this is such an amazing video, i do parelli aswell-it works miracles! :D

and the monty roberts join-up. i did that yeaterdaay :D.

you should be so proud of bahkti and yourself.

    brilliant video! :D

  • i love that horse

  • Love this video. Love the join up style stuff :)

I have attempted this with my arab x on share. Arabs are so quick to pick up on everything.

Your lucky to hve each other xx

    5*s

  • Yep, agreed :) IU did parelli with a arab stallion & he picked it up fast. Another arab mare i did it with, did to (: there really clever horses are arabs (: xxxx

  • Wow what a great story.. you have done so well with him. Its brilliant to see your natural bond. Parelli can really turn a negative into a positive :)

  • Wow, nice trot! how do you learn parelli?

  • Hes gorgeous. You two look amazing.

  • good job girl !! <3

there aint a lot of people that have the patience and love u do..

but u do, and that is what makes u a great horseman...

    xoxoxo

  • what a beautiful Arabian i cant believe somebody would send a beautiful horse like that to slaughter

you have a strong bond with him.

  • Saw your other video and all the comments, just wanted to say well done none of us are perfect riders but you seem a very kind and calm rider/handler and have a great bond with him from what I can see, well done :-)

  • What a great advertisement for the PP stuff...I firmly believe that Arabs especially need the natural horsemanship approach, because they are so intelligent and sensitive. Your partner is so much more in tune with being a willing partner to the person who introduces this method. Good luck and congrads!

  • Oooh o.o

I have got a pony who is dangerous (when you trot him he rushes forwards and when you canter he bucks like a bronco and he is generally very nervous and jumpy) and we might be sending him to a trainer soon. But it is nice to know that you got your horsey sorted :D and that these things are possible :)

  • aww, bhakti is so beautiful, good to see hes made alot of progress! :)

my pony used to be great but last year she decided she was going to be stubborn, lazy, and just not wanting to be ridden. she has this new habit of bucking in small jumps till she unseats the rider. i wish i could trust her but i just cant, like.. shes unpredictable when it comes to riding. other than that shes quiet, and she will even follow me around with no lead or anything. does anyone know why she would do this?

  • i know :) i went to a natural horsemanship clinic last week. and the instructor of it, Jamie Zeihm something like that said.... horses follow you because horses are head animals and once they give into you like start paying attention they follow you because they surrender, thats why alot of horses follow you after a ride. they surrendered to what you wanted and are accepting you. its pretty cool when you break it down. :)

  • Hah! That is awesome. He sounds like my gelding, who, incidentally, is 3/4 arabian as well! Watching him reminded me a lot of my guy: flightly, spooky, sensitive, but glued to the person he loves. I've been doing Parelli with my guy for just over 3 years and he's gone from frighteningly uncontrollable, to fairly calm and trusting. To the point where I can ride him bareback at all gaits, when before Parelli, I was scared to ride him at all.

  • Can you tell me what the whistling song is called?

  • Whistle Stop

  • this is really good :D iv been told many times to sell my horse :O because she is "not safe" and "unpredictable." :P she spins and bolts a lot and backs up n goes side ways :P n will take off if i take her to a show or in a big field or smethin:P im doin parelli with her n she has got a lot better :D still a long way to go though:P my dream is to showjump though :P cos shes an amazin jumper n we both love it. i was so happy when she trotted after me at liberty :D

Keep Up The Good Work! :)

  • this is awesome :) its so good to know there are people that care about horses like you do. I love Parelli so much, you should enter my parelli contest, just look on my channel :) x

  • Parelli isnt join up.... and for friendly u should be able to let the lead rope hang but ur deff foing a good job! :) Keep it up.

  • i cant get the hang of joinup, can anyone give me some tips?

  • asking about joinup to parelli followers isnt really going to get you much help, lol. Do you have the book? Anyone who has experience with monty roberts techniques who can help you? I think there are a few videos of monty on youtube somewhere too...

  • Weird music when the video clips are up. well done! he is georgus!!!

  • Congratulations Bhukshine your horse has at last found someone who not only understands him but that he can respect as his leader. I Recommend every horse owner use Parelli. If you love your horse they deserve it! As Pat Parelli says there are no problem horses - only problem owners - and you have proved him right yet again!

  • i love it when you jog and trots behind

  • no horse should be sent to the slaughter even if they are a 'dangerous horse'

with the right person a horse can be rode and do wonders

ive rode a horse and they all classed him as dangerous just cuz i neli broke my back n neli got knocked out but if he gets sent off to a professional yu cud do anytin with him (btw he was sent off and we found out he hadnt been broken in)

  • This is so awesome!

  • omg man from snowy min lol :P congrats on doign sooo well with him hats off to ya :) xx

  • he is soo adorable!!!!

    youre doing awesome with him:)

  • that made me want to cry! im so happy for the both of you! :'D

  • aww thats so gorgeous... its nice to know tere are actual people out there who really care for them... i know SO many people that just use horses but dont show them any love... use them as machines really.. great job with not giving up.. u got the better end of the deal in the end :) xo

  • I Love Anglo arabians! Mines called Golden Night :) He can be a bit too happy sometimes. He like to put his head high! When hes too happy he gets scared of everything. :D Bhakti is beautiful! Your doing really well with him :D

  • Your horse is gorgeous....I was just wondering are you doing "Join Up" in that clip? If you are I was just wondering how did you learn how to do it? I@ would love to be able to do it with my horse at home who has nearly the story as yours...! reply if you can please would be a huge help!

    X

  • Yeh its join up at 2.40, that horse responded really well , i learnt how to do it froma fictional boo called "hearetland" but there will be loads about it on the intern et and on yourtube probably :) x

  • he is an amazingly beautiful horse! im jelous! ^_^

  • Well done he is lovely, keep us updated

  • hes beautiful! and your doing a great thing with him : )

  • he sooo trust you!

  • Thats so sweet He trusts you so much!

  • this is soo cute! ^-^

  • aww bless him hes got really nice markings , i have just got a new pony hes 14.1hh grey sports pony but with some arab in him , but hes very nervous and spooks at anything little cracks in the road and anything really do you have ant tips for me to try and help him to relax more?

  • good job keeping him.. he is a beautiful horse.. I train problem horses for a living and I know first hand how rewarding it is when they start to trust.. great job keep it up.. and he will be the best horse you've ever owned.. My Sassy sent was a severally dangerous horse when I got her.. sent several trainers to the hospital..me once..but I Love her too much to get rid of her..now she is the best horse ever.

  • He's gorgeous. I have a Saddlebred that went through much the same beginning , but with an abusive trainer as well. His owner called me in to help retrain him so she could sell him, and he never left me. The horse everyone thought was deadly is now teaching hunter lessons to 5 year olds. Hang in there, it's amazing what the right technique and lots of patience can do...

  • ahh well done! i do parelli with my pony and the effects it has are amazing!!

    x

  • amazing dedication there, well done for not giving up :) x

  • thats such an inspirational story, you should be so sproud of yourself for making him who he is today :) x

  • he is really beautiful! i know you said you want no advice but i cant help but ask if he is cold backed? i know you said he was a higher strung horse. i grew up on a horse farm and have ridden and showed and i know from a friend of mine how cold backed horses react. sort of similar but they all have their own quirks. i was just curious. lol i mean no offense to anything/anyone!

  • aww! great progress!:) so glad he wasnt sent to teh slaughter house!

  • I just wanted to say good on you. You and ur horse obviously have a special bond, and he is such a gorgeous horse. Well done!

  • You are an amazing trainer!

    I could never do that!

    Cheers to your patience!

  • good on you, i love parelli and have trained my horse that way, it really is the best way lol he is soooooooooo cute :-)

  • thats good that you took him :)

  • I love his face =)

  • i love this vid, and ur bond with him!

it was like me and my horse:

none could ride him, so they abused him, then i showed up, and bought him and he has been nothing but the greatest horse in the world!

  • omg you and that horse are amazing great bond

well done hope you have heeps more fun with him

  • hey

youve done so good with him love the little jump at the end you should be so proud of him!!

    xxx

  • man..what is the reason for you being SO against advice

  • You need to be like that these days on youtube.

Because I train differently I get criticized all the time, some of the messages are horrible.

  • Thats so true! There's 101 ways of doing one thing. One method will work for one horse but won't for another!

  • You work beautifully with him. And quite honestly, I have no advice to give you, even if you wanted it haha. Great round pen work, he obviously really likes you. Well done with this guy.He is gorgeous by the way.

  • OMG! They said the same thing about my boy at one year old!!!! It took three hours to catch him a day (If I caught him) They said my parents were trying to kill me and I had a death wish. I didn't know anything about nh, found out a month later. Ya he's crazy and high strung but he's the nicest boy ever and I was a moron who didn't understand him. XD PNH saved me and my horse too! Thanks for this video. It hits close to home!

  • awe :)

i really loved this video too!

you gave a great explanation of the situation. you did an unbelievable job with him, chapeau!

    keep up the amazing work.

  • Wowserz! Lol amazing vid and bond with your horse! How terrible would it have been if he did go to the slaughter house! : [ You saved his life and the perelie people - but espeshilly you! lol

    favorite and 5 * rtating :P

  • wow you're amazing x i wish i could ride like that . well dont for showing everyone who doubted him wrong . it reminds me of my frien, though her horse wasnt nearly as bad as this, he was sometimes difficult and she perserved and now they have an unbreakable bond . x

  • Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. You did amazing with him, I knew a bond with him would settle him. Untrusting and sensitive horses are just insecure, once they trust you they have more confidence in life and are more trusting and relaxed. That what it was like with my horse.

Im so glad you saved him, he really needed a person like you in his life

  • what a Beautiful horse,, u are so lucky to have a horse like him/her. i used to have a horse almost identical called Basti but he died of horse flu a couple of years ago and i haven't gotten another one yet... i don't no if i really want another one tho,, coz i'd had him for 3 1/2 years before he died.. so it was hard to start riding again after,, but i wanted to kno if i should get another horse or not... coz i'm scared that it will just die on me...

  • He's lovely, your a darling too.

  • hs absolutely beautiful props to you an props to the cupple to gave him a chance :D

  • Everyone could take a page from your horsemanship...and be the better for it...:) Keep it up! Your patience and heart will take you on great journeys... And, like you've illustrated, "99.9% of the time, it's 'people's' fault, not the animal's fault". You really took the time to listen to him - excellent job!!

  • I frigging LOVE Parelli,worrks eveery damn timeee(: 5*

  • I think he just searched a person like you.

    Searched and found.

    Great video!

  • this reminds me alot of my 3 horses all of wich everyone says were too crazy to ride and should be on pasture. i dont understand how someone could ever think an animal like a horse who trust people to care for them and ride them as hopeless, your one of the few people ive seen with a strong enough heart for a horse like this one. keep doing what your doing, the sky is the limit =]

  • YOU SAVED THIS BEAUTIFUL BOY, i can't believe they were going to 'throw' him out :(

nice job breaking him in :)

  • delaynanicole, get the parelli book & videos by pat parelli haha.

  • So cute how he follows you :]

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO, HE IS SOO PRETTY. I need to learn Parelli, could you recommend any books or videos for me?thank you

  • That is really cute, good you came to his rescue sort of...

How does parelli work for you? I don't own a horse, but if i end up owning one when i get older, then I probably will, and i might use a few parelli things...

  • very well built horse

  • yeah, and that's in paddock condition too.

imagine if he was well manured from the start, he'd be amazing

  • love the video thank god he didn't go to slaughter!! How do u get ride of the copyrite thing im having the same problem!!

  • i just had to keep changing the songs.

the songs that are normally copyrighted are the ones at the top of the charts or popular ones.

so i just found some more discrete songs ;)

i'm surprised the first song isn't copyrighted lol

  • what is that adorable song :) he's a very pretty horse and its good you are working with him. he just wanted some love! haha!

  • I praise the breeders for not giving up, and you too. He does look like a good horse deep down, just highly strung. He looks real pretty :]

Corngratz and good luck with him in the future.

  • Y'all look great!

  • ya i have a lot of over freindly horses =)

  • congrates on you and your horse you make a great team and your a great rider. i have to say i think parelli is only right for sertain horses(your in case parelli is the type of traing he needs but you all ready know this)some horses though need a good smack on the butt tho. some of the parelli peolple i know would call animal crulty if i smack a horse for biting me.

  • i actually agree with you there!

i'm not 100% parelli, my horse teddy doesn't respond to it as well as bhakti does.

bhakti never needs to be hit, it you raise your voice he totally freaks out and behaves.

but some times i have to give teddy a bit of a smack, he's the over friendly type of horse lol

  • good work :))

  • beautiful horse

and was that a home made martingale? haha love it

  • hahah, no ;)

it's just the extra rope tied around his neck so he doesn't trip on it lol

  • haha oh yeah

    i see now x)

  • And yet people still have the nerve to critisize parelli !

Here's a prime example that horses don't need to be "talked down to", beaten up or have all respect ripped away from them before they can be our partners,

All the faults are on the human side, not the horses.

This was amazing, you should be really proud!

  • not true, some horses do not take to parelli. Example, you take a wild horse, and i mean wild, never a seen a human in its life. at 7 years of age, parelli only gets so far, but not onto their backs. I hate to say this for I am a big fan of using parelli. But some horses are so strong headed that the only way to get on them IS to slap a saddle on them in the chutes and stay on top of them until they give. Sad to say but it is true.

  • Well, I have taken a wild two year old, never seen a human in it's life, done parelli, and I'm backing him in the next few months.

So although what you're saying is partly true, there are exeptions, just as some horses will simply never be rideable.

After all, no matter how much time we spend with our 4 legged parteners, they will ALWAYS be a horse first and last.

I do think parelli teaches the humans more than the hiorses though, afteral we're the ones with the problems! lol

  • A two year old is still a baby a seven year old is in its prime. But yeah, I didn't mean all wild horses, that was just one example that I have been through a few times.

  • aww this is beautiful!

  • I'm glad that beautiful horse got a good home, instead of the slaughter. You're a person with I kind heart, just so lovely.

  • omg im jealous of ur abilities xD

  • thats really amazing <3 gorgeous horse!

  • That's so cool!

    You did great with him!

  • good job! i love him he is sooooo cute!

  • Congrats, you have done an AMAZING job with him!!! I find training of horse on my own is very rewarding, but I think you should be even more proud, showing people you can do wonders with patience, and knowledge to cure an 'incurable' horse
