Saw it this weekend. IMHO, while it's a few points below its predecessors, it is still a kickass blockbuster. Johnny Depp is a awesome actor as always, and drives the entire movie forward. Ian Mcshane is excellent as the blackbeard, and Geoffrey Rush has another competent presence. On the weak side, we miss Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, but their story is basically told. Penelope Cruz tries hard, but she can't fill their shoes.

In the end, I concluded that while all of the backstabbing, double-crossing and side-changing didn't help matters, the root problem with "At World's End" was a wholly uninteresting villain in the form of the East India Trading Co.'s weasely Cutler Beckett. That’s another big flaw of Tides (which is ostensibly based on the novel On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers, but don’t believe it). This movie reminds me of some films in my youth, look at filmsi.co.cc full version!

Presumably, the fourth edition is meant to introduce Jack's 'heart,' but Jack's never been a true blackguard and, although Cruz is game and looks awfully fetching in pirate's garb, there's no real romance or heat there. What an excellent movie ! Perfect online at filmsi.co.cc!
