Sometimes, sports just get worse and worse when no sportmanship is shown. Like in the 4 set, Ma Long raised a fist to a net, and somewhat gave a sorry with a very rude face. And it's almost only to the Chinese; they really devolve this game with that kind of stuff. This stuff happens so many times, it's kinda disgusting to watch. Only foreigners show good sportmanship, and even though I am a Chinese myself, I might as much respect them more than the Chinese.

Good to see Kenta in a surprisingly good form after such a long time.

The reason why he plays so well against so many Chinese players is that his style fits right into the game. Chinese players attack you all day all night like there is no tomorrow and Kenta's block is just the best way to beat that aggressive style. he blocks you, force you out of position, and counter attack. Players such as Ma Long, Wang Liqin or maybe Ryu Seung Min (at his best) who always rush themselves would have trouble because they commit too much and at times they fail to recover.

Idk know if it is a Chinese - Japanese thing, but its like they don't even acknowledge each other's presence when they play. Ma Long didn't even look at Kenta after the net that won him the game at 10-9 which was after Kenta made a comeback or when they shook hands after the match.

@TheDarthsophia honestly i am not sure he has really improved that much.He did well in this match, but I think its more because he generally has always been this good with this type of super fast playstyle. Ma Long pushes the speed and does a ton of just topspin loops, which normally is devastating to everyone, but for a blocker, if you can just get it back, the reaction time is so little that even for Ma Long it can cause trouble. Kenta just doesn't match up well with a lot of other styles
