the trick to get an s rank is to not get hit at all but that is difficult unless you memorize every detail of this level and also collect the most rings possible but what makes this stage harder to s rank is that time counts you have to get a time of under about 3 minutes more perferably under 2:50 so your very far from getting an s rank just practice and practice until you get it good luck

DO YOU SEE! THIS IS HOW A SONIC GAME SHOULD BE PLAYED IN 3D!! This makes my decision to get the 360 version alot clearer. I mean I like the switches from 2d to 3d, but wow, an entire act all 2.5D perspective looks mad fun to play. Better luck next vid for the S rank!

The extra acts are usually only in one perspective. This act also isn't the most fun DLC level because it's just going 5 laps around the same corse. There are c3D only levels 2D only levels and levels that swithch. Also HELL YEAH your getting this game. Best Sonic game ever IMO.

I got an s rank on this stage the way i got it is by taking the highest paths possible and collecting alot of rings and try not to get hit I got a time of 2:53:37 on this stage and I past it getting hit only one time I hope this helps and good luck

Same here, but it's a pain in the ass when you feel the need to try and S-Rank a hard stage for the viewers (which Iwas trying to do).

I understand. I haven't S-ranked any of those hard stages yet. XP Not because I didn't want to, but because I'm a very busy man! XD So far, I have S-ranked all the original daytime stages from Windmill Isle to Arid Sands (all acts and bosses) and now I'm working on Skyscraper Scamper. And there are also several other games that I want to play, but I just don't have the time! x.X I'm in last year of uni, you see. XD And I'm maried too! o.O XD

Damn, this stage looks twisted hard. I'm not sure if it works, but there's this trick  that I heard about where you can pause the game during a quick time button pressing sequence (the ones in slo-mo) and see the button commands so that you don't have to fail. But wow, that was impressive

I'm generally better at doing quick-time events than that, I think I cracked under pessure, I am kind of dissapointed with this run.
