@tacomadc actually, he SHOULD be remembered for this, or at least commended. this was the big eye opener to the glam metal scene; it had become an inflated industry full of copycats and money grubbers. this scene is the eye-opening crux that allowed the public to realise that it wasn't all that it was cut out to be.

W.A.S.P. is my favorite band. Its too bad Blackie is such an arrogant a-hole and ruined what they had going. Chris Holmes kicks ASS! If you were a big fan of WASP you'd know Chris was a heavy drinker, even after WASP popularity was gone, like on the KFD tour he was still drinking non stop. This movie is fuckin horrible. It has great stars: Alice Cooper, Dave Mustaine,Ozzy, Lemmy, ect., but it's badly made, to the point that you're expecting every scene to suck.

I watched this scene and I thought to myself "how the hell is this guy is still living to this day". I don't want him dead or anything like that. I'm just amazed that he is still living after he drank like that in front of his mother.
Of course, I just found out that this is fake and that "vodka" is actually water.
Others probably won't believe me, but oh well...had the honor of meeting Chris in '97, and we discussed this scene, wasn't staged all real, came from his mouth. He was amazing to hang with, Sat with us for 3 hours or so in a bowling alley next to the Palladium in Michigan. Err alcoholics drink to escape the pain of reality. You cant drink and take drugs all your life without the bottom falling out , unless your a rare exception. It was all water. He and another bandmate filled like 4 empty vodka bottles with water for this scene. He was still pretty intoxicated but just wasnt dumping vodka down his throat at this point, it was water. They admitted it in 04.

I can say Chis Holmes was and ego driven drunk asshole. I was in a London club in 1989 and he came over to my table and started swearing his head off and picking a fight for no reason other than he wanted the table. Glad to report a girl on my table gave him a mouth full and security gave him a kick in the ass.
