I saw this piece of art yesterday at the museum for the first time, and i was positively blown away by it. Watching this clip added some great dimension to my appreciation of the work and the artist.  Beautiful.

I just viewed this work of art, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and this video does great justice to the artwork, the artist, and the Museum. Their holdings of African and Oceanic art continues to grow, and any trip to the Metropolitan becomes "more so" after seeing this amazingly airy and stunning Wing. This exhibit of textiles, apty titled "Design without End" is well worth a visit. This glowing elegant tapestry by El Antasui is a total highlight.

YouTube is wonderful! It gives the personal touch to the piece after hearing from the artist. As a member of the museum I've got to go to see this.

I was fortunate to see this work in person the last time I visited the Met. I turned a corner and was astounded at the beauty of the work and then realize that it was made of recycled metal. In the hands of true artist he or she can make art out of just about anything.

This is a wonderful small video about a great artist and a fascinating, beautiful piece of art. And what a smart curator!
