They are both short but very tough to stop, with excellent balance and fine technique, they are both classic play makers (a position that is slowly dying in modern football), Rosicky was brilliant as a young player but unfortunately his career was massacred by numerous injuries. Modrić is somewhat better in dribbling and passing, while Rosicky tends to be more aggressive attacker and has shot (and more important, uses it much more often).

Modric needed time to adjust to the Premier League, but he got better as the season went on. In the end I'd say he was Tottenham's second best player of the season, behind Aaron Lennon. Tottenham had a bad start to the season and had to change manager, after Redknapp took over the team improved and showed form that would have them competing for the 4-6 positions over a full season. Hope there won't be too many changes this summer and that the team can build on the second half of 08/09.

first 11 and more recently weve started basing are squad around him. He is currently injured tho. but nothing serious. For us he playes behing the front man almost in a second attacker role, and has been amazing there. However he looked very average when he played CM in a 4-4-2. He seems to have a good conection with pavluchenko, which is good. Hes doing very well after a disastrous start.
