Good match, both good players. But this Sonic should know that Ike is to strong to take head on and should instead focus on making Ike miss then punish him with Sonic. Since Sonic trumps Ike and Speed but not strength taking him head on isn't a smart strategy. Sonic's very unpredictable and can fool opponents easily. So instead of head on clashing with a power house like Ike he should fool and bait Ike into trying to attack him opening a lot of punishing attacks option for Sonic. GoodMatch tho.

This guy is really bad as Sonic. You have to take better advantage of his ground speed, link to combos after spin dashes, and keep in mind his very few killing moves (best one being back air). Also you need to keep in mind that Ike won't flinch right before pulling off his neutral b and up b -- wait until the attack ends and he's vulnerable.

Sonic is the biggest disappointment out of the new characters, all his attacks look the same, and every specials a spin. Sega must have obviously felt offended but the idea...

what did you expect his moves to be...i mean in all his games most of his moves look the same..so the guy's who made the game just worked with the fact that most of his moves are spin based

4 the most part, but u have 2 remember the shield moves which where actually pretty cool, like the fire and the bubble. Also, the lil lightning flash he does if u dont have a shiled. Or maybe he could have summoned characters sometimes, like Captian Commando in MvC

i think sonic is perfect, if only that his spins should move a little faster.

but i would have like to see sonic power ups in. that would have been cool to see his electric or fire shield in. heck even the sparkling stars, which could be as a second star power, only with sonic's music instead.

I still believe Sega morally did not want to put Sonic n Brawl. The proof is n the pudding; look how lame Sonics stage is!! How can u have a game thats based on speed but have a small claustrophobic area!? Also, look at his entrance n2 subspace!! Ridiculously lame... Not 2 mention his super smash has no creative flare either. I'm sry, but all u who believe Sonic is not a disappointment and Sega supported the idea of him n the game r CLEARLY IN DENIAL!!!

first sonics stage is based on the old sonic games. second his entrance to brawl was late since he wasnt added into the game till the very end. and last his super smash is that cuz of the crystal emeralds or wutever they are called...they put sonic in as in the old games

Pit was added from the begining, sonic was thrown together last minute. Nintendo wasn't about to delay the game again, so they just threw sonic together. Also, seeing how sonics last two games were terrible, he needed some publicity, so sega almost had no choice but to put sonic in brawl.

True, the sonic wasn't that great. But if you notice He's playing his roomate who's using a bunch of different characters. His roomate probably doesn't have a lot of time to become exceptional at each character. Besides, this is about Ike, not Sonic!
