Presumably Zach, you disagree that a Satanist is born and not made? I never really thought that was correct. I think LaVey got that wrong. I think a person is a combination of psychological and genetic factors passed down from their parents, coupled with their environmental factors.

Satanism is an environmental factor, as are all philosophies... and they have an effect on the psychological factors... which in turn are then passed on through language and communication.

Really? I'm pretty fond of the Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth and Satanic Sins myself.  I guess my least favorite work from LaVey would have to be Pentagonal Revisionism. I don't dislike it, per se, I just don't think it's as strong as his other works.
