i got addicted to marijuana. (smoked 3-4 bowels of hash a day) when i smoked i only got high for 20 min, i couldnt eat when i wasnt high, i was throwing up every morning, and i was depressed and tried to kill myself. marijuana is good if you dont become addicted, lucky i sobered up.

However, the reason no one has had cancer related to smoking cannabis is because the cannabinoids in marijuana (THC, CBN, CBD, ect.) appear to act as anti-cancers. Not only that, but radioactivity, not tar, accounts for most (I think at least 90%) of smoking related lung cancer from cigarettes. Sorry, but you are misinformed. No one dies from smoking just cannabis.

Cannabis prevents cancer, and cures it when made into hemp oil. It shrinks tumors and saves lives (It's already documented and proven), and is less addictive than coffee. It doesn't lead to hard drugs; less than 1% of pot smokers try hard drugs so that's another lie. :)

If regulated, the sale and consumption of cannabis to minors could be minimized and more heavily policed. Many more teens would be drinking if alcohol were illegal because dealers do not ask for ID. This is the current problem with cannabis. The other problem is that drug dealers are only concerned with profit and if they have no cannabis to sell, are just as likely to push harder drugs.

@mrarches You're right, burning plant matter (weather it's tobacco or cannabis) will give off carcinogens. However, the reason no one has had cancer related to smoking cannabis is because the cannabinoids in marijuana (THC, CBN, CBD, ect.) appear to act as anti-cancers. Not only that, but radioactivity, not tar, accounts for most (I think at least 90%) of smoking related lung cancer from cigarettes. Sorry, but you are misinformed. No one dies from smoking just cannabis.

Second hemp oil does not cure cancer, as right now cancer is incurable which is why you are never called "cured" it's "in remission". And I hate to break it to you but it has been proven that pot is a gateway drug, but this is caused by the prohibition and not the pharma-psychologicality of the plant.

@KevinBrault Studies have shown that pot only smokers have no more risk of cancer than people who don't smoke at all, for people who smoke both cannabis and tobacco, they have a reduced chance of getting cancer than tobacco only smokers thus cannabis reduces chance of getting cancer, Rick Simpson has cured cancer from hundreds of people, there's documentation of people with diagnosed cancer who cured it themselves with hemp oil. "Gateway drug" is just a bullshit term coined by prohibitionists.

Do you think for 1 minute that if cannabis was a cure for cancer it wouldn't be being used as a cure?
Do you think they would be able to cover this ' fact ' up and let people die unnecessarily if it were true?
Wouldn't we be expecting all or most cannabis users to be living to ripe old ages if it is such a wonder drug?
I personally know of at least 3 men ( locally ) who died in their early 50s,all heavy marijuana smokers.
What about Bob Marley,Jack Herer? both died relatively young.

My first point is that in fact extracts of cannabis are legal within the health system and can be administered for many different purposes and come in a variety of different forms (eg. Sativex and Marinol etc.). So your statement of "why dont they use it" is actually incorrect.
