My husband and I danced all the time. we'd put a record on and dance, hear music on tv and we'd dance. He died in 1988 and I look forward to dancing in heaven with my soul mate.

I lost my best friend to cancer last year. One day I said I hated her, we got in a big fight, the next day she saw me walking on the street with another friend as a car came by and hit her, she was OK, but she lost and arm and had minor brain damage. She moved away that summer and we were pen pals, she came home for a week when she knew her time was short , when she was at my house, she told me, she had to tell me in person. I sang My Immortal at her funeral, it was her favorite song.

I listen to this song when I want to think about my Gran and Grandpa. I never knew my Grandpa as he died just a month before I was born, but My Gran was a big part of my life. She just died 3 weeks ago, and she lived with us for the last 9 years of life. I miss her so much. I live this song as My Gran and Grandpa loved dancing, that how they met, at a dance. the used to go out dancing every weekend. I'm 19 but this is the first time someone really close to me has died.
