Guys & Girls, does anyone have some links to some metal songs taking off guitar parts with this software? I like to hear some examples where some distorted guitars filling much, and see how well this makes it. But can not find a proper link.

im baffled by this. how does it extract the guitars from a mixed track in mp3 format? it cant surely go by frequencies because it would extract overlapping frequencies of other instruments? extracting the vocals is a lot easier, but if anyone actually knows how the guitars are done then i'd like to know!

So you plug your guitar into that tiny Vox speaker box and the track you select is heard through that as you play along with it? It must sound crap then surely because the speakers are so small.

what really would be useful would be extracting the solo and the program

would tab the solo and plot it out via

guitarpro or powertab. That would kill your

ear training but figuring out solos is very

very hard and anyone who says its not

is full of crap. Heheh. Unless you have

perfect ears like Eddie Van Halen etc.

sure macs are working too.

you can remove the whole guitar of a song not just the solo... one example if you want to play stairway to heaven without jimy page cause he´s getting on your nervs;) you can remove him of the whole song

you can remove the solo, also rytm guitar, you must "play" with settings in order to get what you want to be extracted.

At the first time, it's a little difficult to do it in a good way, but, just playing with it, you can get what you want extracted.-

lol you can dowload the soft but without block connected you can't start them its hardware edit not just by software

i dont have the block but you can use other stuff on it, like i've got a pod xt live which also works with it.

you don't understand me iv got the jamvox and without the block you can use guitarxtractor and i think it was that, you want know, i try use soft after disconected block and he don't work without connection

I wonder how soon the Xtraction software will become available without all the integrated hardware. Flogging the software with a monitor is a clever strategy to restrict piracy, it will be interesting to see how this goes.

I saw this at the show. I was even better than shown here. You can loop it after taking out the Guitar part to make an endless jam along backing track. This JamVox thing will seriously improve your guitar playing.
