i think it depends on who's using either of the gadget.. a talent for creating sounds. both korg AX3000g & boss GT-8 are good guitar multi-effects.

Evan if you just get someone you know to professionally/ish record some song and go around to all the minor records labels in your area someone is sure to sign you up for as year or 2 that'll get you an opportunity to be known :)

Sounds great, for slows songs like this you should try to turn the gain down to like 50 and bring the presence up. Retains the Boss' chunk and grind but gives you more of the guitars resonance and tone.

but doesnt it has a setting called shred metal? i think i tried it a time ago, and liked it. you see, i can get a used boss gt-8, but it is more expensive than i can get a new ax3000. it can't be that bad? if i try out different settings? and i can always add a pedal. do you think it is useless for metal?

If you get something that sounds bad, it grows on you after some time. Then you realize your mistake, and regret it. Ahah. And then if you just keep adding pedals, you end up paying more than you planned on in the first place, when you could have bought the Gt-8. Go to the nearest music store and try some pedals out.

Hey man. I had the oportunity to try out both pedals and i have to say, that it isn't true at all, what people say about AX3000G. Out guitarist use it through a good fender amp and it blows minds.

One of the best sounding multieffect i've ever heard, usable for all styles of music. UK Modern is one hell of the sound, and there are more like that.

So if you haven't got a lot of money but Korg, if you got enough money for Boss, then buy Boss, but they are both amazing multieffects.

Your right, KORG AX300g, the overdrives and distortion sucks with my fender tele...so i sold it and bought BOSS GT-10, when i tried it, OH MY GOD!! BOOMBASTIC !!!! I can play hardcore metal using a tele with a sing coil pick ups!...

Buy the GT-10!!! so fucking awesome you won't believe it. Of course it's 200$ more than the GT-8 but it's worth the money. The effects are really enhanced, the distortions are really good and the power of this pedal will blow you away.

i agree with pure i own a gt-10 and the user friendlyness and sound quiality is amazing (in person) wen u sit with it for hours its ur best friend. but the gt-8 is abit more electronic and fake, the gt-10 is a big quality improvement

Connect my guitar to Boss gt8 input & mono out to my amp but instead of connect to the front you connect to the back of the amp that has return FX LOOP. This way my amp is working as a PA. This way you'll get most out of the GT8, all the effects ie: Distortion, Phaser, Delay, Flang & gaining are from the GT8. It works better for me this way because you don't want both pre-amps from the GT8 & your guitar amp running at the same time, it'll compress your sonud & tone.
