mike, I saw that UF is after him too... They also just offered another Top 5 player from the northeast -- WR Adrian Cox out of Baltimore. It will be funny to see the PSU fans meltdown over both of these especially after getting Jenkins, and possibly Fortt as well.

i believe the Gators are doing very well recruiting around those areas and will continue to recruit and get really great quality players.... plus a NC really helps the Gators recruiting also....

Please tell me you're kiddin?! No Penn State fans on Rivals or Scout were melting down over Jelani. Congrats to UF. You got him...oh well. A much, much bigger loss would've been losing Justin Brown. For 2010, we've already pulled linebacker Mike Hull who'll probably be 5 star on both sites when everything's said and done. As for Redd, he says PSU is his "dream school". If he wants to come great. If not, cool. I personally like Braylon Heard out of Cardinal Mooney more.

Anyway, gators will get their guys no doubt but snagging one LB from Penn State country will prove to be the exception rather than the rule. Jenkins won't be missed in Happy Valley btw, we have about 8 dudes that could start anywhere else.
