Dear all, 8-NoTimeLeft has launched on the 1st of July the ACT NOW! video competition to give you the opportunity to make your own short film on one of the 8 Millennium Development Goals and spread the word about the necessity of acting together. Chère Jane, je viens de regarder ce film grave et rempli d'émotion. Merci. Toutefois une erreur récurrente y figure : l’eau ne disparaît pas au fur et à mesure qu’on la consomme ! Mais nous la salissons ! ça oui !!!
Il faut garder en mémoire qu’il y a sur la planète exactement la même quantité d’eau depuis le commencement. Et depuis toute l’eau est là et restera là ! Le problème c’est de NE PAS COUPER LA FORET pour que l’eau demeure là où elle est. Le problème c’est de NE PAS POLLUER L’EAU !
@MILCREA Cher Milcrea, merci pour cet important rappel qui doit pousser les initiatives de traitement de l'eau, les incitations a la reduction de la pollution des eaux et la lutte contre la deforestation. Il faut cependant savoir que la carte blanche laissee a Jane dans le cadre du film 8 laisse libre champ a l'ecriture d'une fiction qui est par essence vouee a faire passer une emotion au-dela de la veracite scientifique du propos. Merci encore et n'hesitez pas a decouvrir les autres films de 8!

Once you examen all of these : we came up with the same story: the good and the bad guys afraid of Consciousness Expansin; afraid to take a little bit of time to contact thys guy inside his brain of body. Very few really understand what it means to be human, What conects us with the earth, solar system etc. whay does 6-7 bilion people act like all around them is nothing but matter ?
and what i saw hier is: people involving their childern in thing they do not understand. Its not the child, its our foolishness which we are afraid of to accept.
I cried when I found out he had killed the horses. At first, I thought the film seemed...dry. But then I thought, well duh, that's the point. When our earth is dry, our emotions, our words, our eyes, everything, including us, is dry. A daunting, but vital thought.
